A time travel story between a genius engineer Han Tae-Sul (Cho Seung-Woo) and his savior from the future Gang Seo-Hae (Park Shin-Hye).

Han Tae-Sul is a genius engineer and the co-founder of Quantum and Time Company. He is handsome and he produces innovative results. Thanks to his efforts, Quantum and Time has become a world-class enterprise. He is known as a miracle worker and a hero in Korea, but reality is a little different. After his older brother's death 10 years ago, he has exhibited eccentric behavior. The company's stock price has fluctuated accordingly. One day, Han Tae-Sul learns of an unreliable truth behind his brother's death. His dangerous journey begins.

Gang Seo-Hae is an elite warrior. She can take down the biggest men with just her bare hands. She is also a sharpshooter and able to make bombs. She learned these skills to survive in a world that is dominated by gangsters and military cliques. One day, after a long and dangerous journey, she comes to Han Tae-Sul to save him.

sato137 Sep 25 2023 7:16 am Really wanted to like this one cause I love time-travel fiction and have enjoyed most of the KDramas I've seen, but holy crap was this a massive slog to get through. No redeeming qualities besides (most of) the acting and music. The writing's incredibly cliched and the action scenes were almost like a parody. Waste of talent, waste of a concept.

Yet we are witnessing the henchmen and henchwomen of the Biden regime destroying America, much the same way the henchmen and henchwomen of the Xi regime are helping to destroy China!

Perhaps not so improbable after all?!

Loved the casting, a perfect fit! (Loved the opening aero–crash sequence ---- crestive move!)

Although I accept the probability of the multiverse, am not a believer in EPR paradox/quantum entanglement and therefore highly skeptical of quantum teleportation --- like the silliness of of real quantum computing --- if existed, it would be based on transdimensionality and therefore wholly unreliable in concept!

Remember, Riemann was the first to write on the folding of space/time to form the space–time continuum, Before Einstein. Suspect Einstein never fully grasped Riemann's Quantum Geometry, simply utilized aspects of it for his General Relativity Theory!

A still only–primitive grasp of electromagnetism allows for the belief in quantum entanglement when it is possibly simply an extension of alternating current ---- across the Cosmos?!

Loved this K–SF/Drama series!

pearl Aug 25 2022 3:30 pm Bad impression on the 1st episode: Special effects failed, a story not convincing. And from episode to episode, it gets more and more addictive when the elements and characters are put in place, the story gets better and more exciting with the arrival of Sygma, awesome rot. The scenario becomes more detailed as it progresses, like a race against the disaster that seems inevitable. The shooting scenes are numerous, a little too much the syndrome of bullets that never touch anyone. Moreover the men in black of the office lack subtlety in the realization, caricatural and too showy for an office supposed to act in the shadow. Of course, time travel is a bust, there can be inconsistencies, and areas of shadows, we ask ourselves questions but it goes without, the characters themselves do not have answers to everything.

George Jul 12 2022 12:33 pm KK: Tae-San didn't need wake-up serum because the timeline was altered. With Sigma becoming a better person (thanks to Seo-Hae's father showing kindness to Sigma's younger self in the park) and disappearing in the timeline, Tae-San is not drugged to begin with.

1. I still don’t know how and why Tae-San is able to wake up to the present timeline without the wake-up serum after Tae-Sul died in the present timeline(last episode)? Not sure if anyone can enlighten me on this? Thanks.

2. The sniper was searching for Sigma on the stage and waiting for his instructions. Sigma did not want Tae-Sul to die on the stage as he has not create the Uploader at that point. The instructions is to hit him at the tip of his left ear which is a lot harder than killing him. The men chasing after them are to terrorise them rather than to kill them. All these were explained by Sigma in episode 15.

3. The actors who played Sigma and Kang Dong-gi are really good, besides Tae-Sul. Hopefully more chances and recognition can be given to them. Not all Hayu fans look at idols and pretty faces. We also look for good plots and professional actors.

Chris May 30 2022 6:55 am Planning to drop this series because some scenes are so embarassing. Like they have a lot of armed men yet can't shoot the target in a close range (in close distance!). Some questionable scenes where the sniper find it hard to shoot the target (while the target is just standing on the stage. Note: target not moving) then when the target finally decided to move and another person joined him on the stage, the sniper want to shoot the target and finds it hard to shoot!

I like the plot and would like to know what is what. But, the execution of each scenes is not good for me.

Ally Apr 05 2022 12:42 am Sure, there's a few points where you have to suspend your logic side of your brain and just go with it... But I Freaking Loved it! I was constantly on the edge of my seat and loved every second of it. All the characters had so many dimensions, and I grew to love them all, even the most despicable. For me this was not just science fiction and post apocalypse, but it also had a beautiful sense of fantasy, and no fantasy is supposed to be 100% realistic. I really hope the haters don't ruin it for us fans and we get a season 2. If they don't like it they can just not watch it ??‍♀️ I'll watch it 20 times over in their place.

I advise you to spend your precious hours more wisely on watching something else!

paris Feb 05 2022 4:15 pm The ending hurt my head. I kept trying to play out different explanations in my head that would make it make sense. I guess the writer was playing with the notion of "does our environment shape us as individuals, or are we who we are definitively despite our environment" with that ending.

This was my first sci-fi kdrama and I watched it on Netflix. The characters and storyline were very well written, twisted, and suspenseful. Never knew what was gonna happen next which is why I kept watching without skipping.

It is so amazing, the story, how it goes from last, present and future it is very complicated story yet it is so amazing that every detailed of the story is well analyzed and organized.. Salute to the Korean Script writer and to all Directors. The Cast is also veru professional and Veteren Actors and Actresses.. Salute to all the Cast of Sisyphus.. We are expecting for more great novelty Kdrama series, very unique and different genra.. I greatly admired All the Casts, the main Lead Actor Tae Sul, which it suits to his personality, very genius, and the leading Lady Seo Jae, as well.. Wow, fantastic! I also admired how Sigma portray his role very intense! The Bestfriend of Tae Sul oh, it so lovely that he really devote his life to his friend but brought heartbreak and very sad that he also had grudge on his bff :( though the Series reflects of the past, present and future and the Dilemmas of the Society and the world! Wow, very deep and meaningful Story. How the politics goes on and on and the culture and the how the society perceive the world. All the cast is so amazing!!! Very Great Artists!! ❤

Frons Jan 20 2022 5:42 pm Good actors, although the characters are too much stereotyped. Plot holes here and there (action sequences absolutely unrealistic, i.e. where you have dozens of armed and trained men and yet not even a single hit against just two fugitives!).

Overall a good and enjoyable watch, but so far the best time-travel related TV shows remains Dark, undeniably.

Sana Dec 15 2021 3:22 pm It is customary for me to select the top 3 shows of each year, and since I only watch Korean dramas, I saw this fitting lol. This is my number one and I promote this show in my country with vim. Frl, romance is a great genre and dramas with a mixture of action and romance such as this, carries excitement and that element of expectancy for a kiss after a shoot out ㅋ. I have a tendency to fall for the second male lead and hurt myself, but this was not so. I love love love the lead male actor and I thought it was meticulous of the casting crew to choose such a person that carries the image of the character they need to portray.

The escalation of the plot was quite amazing. I especially love Park Shin Hye's fighting scenes and how effortlessly they seem to flow. The ending was not my style though. To this day I don't think I fully understand why it ended like that but It's dramas like this that keeps me up three years after I finish watching, that makes me keep watching ㅋㅋ

I or well we, have fallen in love with so many new actors work, new series and movies, that we are a bit ashamed by NOT doing so sooner!! I'm not going to name them all, but Sisyphus: The Myth I'm watching it for the second time now. The first time, was about a month ago, and the story line, would keep seeping into my sleep. I feel, everyone from the story creator, the actors and actress's, all of them, did fantastic work. All the folks, the production people, the set makers, every aspect of those involved, should be very proud of this work. Really very well done to all involved. Thank you.

And for everyone who haven't watched and want it to, prepare your tissue for 'almost' last episode. Ofc I'll rewatch to know the whole story kekeke once isn't enough to get the entire episode. I say the CG isn't good enough but still worth to watch bcz the actors are playing their characters well. Cho Seung Woo-nim!! I look forward for your next project as an actor drama soon. But rest awhile after your Hedwig, it's OK. I still wait xoxo

Moral of the story from this show: be nice to people you know, this include strangers. Otherwise some some crazy prick will try to end the world or turn against you suddenly. :P

Kdrama fan Oct 05 2021 6:09 am I always think that Eddy looked sly and ready to turn bad any time. I like time travel but usually the complex theory kills my brain cells. After binge watching and done with the finale I got so much questions. I know usually they won't end the drama with another war and the usual civilians escaped the war fate and usually the lead couple would have either a sad or open ending but I still feel very sore after done with the finale epi.

I could watch Cho Seung-woo 24/7, he is incredibly sexy. He was fantastic in Stranger, and I look forward to watching Life, the hospital series.

The moment HTS decode the downloader in year 2001, the loop started. And in timeloops, the origin is undetermined. With this rule, STM has no loopholes, it was explained. And i loved the ending. HTS and KSH best chemistry.

Emmasshi Jun 09 2021 5:01 am This is my 2nd time to watch a time-travel, sci-fi genre after Go Back couple. I tried really hard but this is not really on my genre. I think I'm confused with the camera angles and CGI's of this series. I thought all of apocalyptic scenes were CGIs but in the credits part, they actually built some props plus the uploader. It's true that some action scenes were obviously unrealistic especially when they're firing pistols and rifles.

I mean, the creative minds it took for someone to produce something like this is pretty astounding. I totally don’t understand why a few have trashed Sisyphus and can only wonder what kind of ingenious show they could come up with on their own-certainly nothing to boast about, I’m sure. And I get there’s a few plot holes here and there but only if you’re lazy do you expect the writers to fill everything in themselves. We as viewers are simply being asked to use our own imagination and fill it in ourselves-not too much to ask, in my opinion.

The acting was superb and you could not help but be drawn in to the lives and situations as they developed. Brilliant sci-fi with meaningful drama. i wish there would be a follow up film to give a clearer resolution.

Also there are so many plot holes at some episodes, and sometimes you can’t understand what is happening and why. I’m really disappointed because I had high expectations. I really don’t recommend watching.

David Field May 14 2021 4:25 am This is an excellent show. Maybe a little too long and with a little too much romance in the middle episodes. The main characters were played excellently (Sigma especially) and overall the production values were superb. The story had many twists and turns and great ideas, one being where the main characters missing brother materialises in mid air and crashes into the airplane he is on. I would have liked to have seen the character Eddy Kim understand what was really going on and redeem himself at the end. A very enjoyable drama. More please. Will there be a season 2?

Cho Seung Woo had a better chemistry with Bae Doona in Stranger and they were supposed to be platonic. Everything was a mess and I definitely wouldn’t waste my time watching it again. Dramas with lower budgets look better than this.

Raystio May 09 2021 5:27 am Sisyphus is a lot of fun than any other Sci-fi drama. Really, I don’t understand why many complained about the ending.

This is a 16 episode drama, of course there will be plot holes. Like what happen to jaesun, why jung hyeongi stole files about seohae or what motive the control bureau who supported sigma.

For me, the lack of plot holes is what makes it human than any other scifi which forced the character to be unrealistic and only 'supporting' the plot.

Sisyphus left us to our imagination and park shin hye performance got me hooked again. The male lead, not so much. Sorry, anyway nice drama!

There are a lot of unnecessary scenes and each episode gets super slow and boring despite it being a thriller and action series. The story is getting too messy and confusing. Even Cho Seung Woo can’t save this show...the directors and writers did him dirty in this story. Stranger set the bar too high for CSW. Disappointed in this show. Also I don’t want to comment anything about Park Shin Hye’s acting in case her fans come at me. She should stick to romcom genre.

H Apr 29 2021 11:03 am Gave it a shot since I was a fan of Cho Seung-Woo in Stranger, and while he and the rest of the cast do well with what they're given, the show is a meandering mess.

The initial hook is good, but every episode loses momentum laboriously detailing past events we've already been shown the outcome of. The action genre splash also doesn't work because none of the characters are allowed to die. You could cut the series in half if you just remove the scenes of dramatic gun-pointing where the person doesn't end up shooting.

The sci-fi premise makes the mistake of over-explaining and contorting itself into increasingly silly nonsense. New rules are made up basically every episode, so you're just tapping your foot waiting for the plot to end.

I would recommend Signal as an alternative to anyone who liked the "time paradox puzzle" premise but was put off by the schlock like me. Thanks for reading!

It's like watching nameless actors from way before netflix and youtube were born. But this was the director's fault, not the leads'. And then there's the story. It was very promising at first and then it became a head-scratcher. This one is the writer's fault. Bottomline i couldn't justify spending any more time to finish the show. What a waste of talent!

I still love CSW and will watch his other shows.

Han tae sul story with his brother was touching. And the story of hantaesul with antagonist character had something to be learnt too.

This drama was not only about science fiction, the writer even gave deep love story of the main leads. It's one of the best time travel which i like most.

Now, i'm curious about cho seung woo dramas/movies because i like his acting as han tae sul so much. He portrayed han tae sul so well.

Yes, this drama had open ending, but still, we still got many moral values after watching this.

There are a lot of parts that i needed more time to let it sink in and some other parts that are really confusing especially last episodes. And a little bit dissapointed on the action part on the first episodes. It really looked like a cg and I'm actually shocked bcs kdrama is known for it's quality. *spoiler alert* I'm actually confused on the part where they tricked sigma on the last episode. If it weren't for the future ver of them they will not survive but how that future ver of them got away with sigma for the first time? Hmmm that's kind of a loop hole for me. It's interesting but the story could have been improved. I love Park Shin Hye but i will give this a 3/5.

I also love the chemistry between Park Shin Hye and CSW. Not going to lie, i didn't see the 10 years age gap. After Sisyphus, i started watching all of CSW dramas, and I'm in love. He's such a versatile actor. Anyway, i kinda like the ending. It's so sad. Because it shows that KangHan love story is so pure. Hope we will be able to see another project of Park Shin Hye with Cho Seung Woo.

The drama was cleverly done, well thought out while keeping the integrity & quality of storyline. I highly recommend Sisyphus for everyone to watch it, its awesome and phenomenal kdrama.

It lives up to its title.The characters Han Tae Sul and Seo Hae truly gave the story a wonderful yet exciting and unexpected twist. My take on the first few episodes: they explain how Tae Sul and Seo Hae hurdled Sigma's plot to ruin the earth. The early episodes gave hints about what will happen in the end: how Sigma tried to destroy Tae Sul, how Seo Hae tried to warn and help the past Tae Sul and how the other characters like Sun had a significant contribution to the plot twists. Toward the end of the series Han Tae Sul (for me, this is my opinion anyway)made the right decision to end his life to the save the earth. Afterall, that is the main goal of Seo Hae.. Seo Hae could've killed Tae Sul to undo the creation or coding of d uploader but they fell in love. Also, toward the end of the series, it became clear to me that however Seo Hae's dad 'changed' Sigma,the latter still is a Devil and a Psycho. How i love how d author / director formed/ molded the character Sigma. His acting is effective. I still hate him for his devilish acts.grr. hahaha Hayst. (sigh) for me,this series is at par with Interstellar. I'm not actually a fan of sci fi genre but this series turned me around and made me appreciate the genre. I ĺove the series. I hope JTBC will make another one of this kind.haha. I can't seem to get over with the ending. It's still stuck in my head and my heart. Personally for me this drama is one of the best for this genre and it has many hidden messages. The ending... Damn, I'm still crying for the ending. One of the most satisfying ending for time travel genre but still hurts. I'm so proud of the main lead Park Shin Hye and Cho Seung Woo, their acting and their chemistry was awesome. I'm gonna miss Tae sul and Seo Hae so much after this. I hope they'll find each other always. Gosh I really love this drama ❤

My angle is that due to budget constraint, economics principles such as economy of scale, min cost of capital, infrastructure needed then sysyphus is in a " bite more than could chew reality". I could see literally, the cgi spent sleepless nights due to "pali-pali ...screamed toward them since dateline is their number one enemy preveting the cgi people to reach their max potential. They did good, but they couldnt be perfectionist due to time constraints which is due to tvdrama's industry inherent "ecosystem"

This drama is super confusing, (SPOILERS are going to be here from now). From the start, we never really got to know why Han Te-sul was going to build the uploader. Also, why did the control breua was after te-sul did they hate him too? Also, why did Eddy Kim become evil at the end. Maybe I don't know any of this because this was boring for me but the only character I liked and was interested in was Sun. also how does te-sul still remember seo-hae? Doesn't him killing himself create a new timeline? This drama was very confusing, so if you want to give it a watch go ahead. If you arent really into sci-fi this will confuse you so much.

i know this series is not everyone's cup of tea. but for science enthusiast like me, this is something worth watching for. sci-fi thrillers are really ambiguous since it is fictional. for STM, a lot of confusions from the start until the last episodes. if you carefully watch for the details, one could tell that everything did make sense. even the seemingly 'bullet proof fridge' ? and all those missed bullets.. all these were explained if you pay attention to the details til the end of the show.. hey, it's a time-travel series.. in itself it is pretty much mind-boggling and cracking. at least, in STM it's indirectly answered in the later episodes.

and ohh the ending.. i initially found it hard to accept but revisiting the past episodes, i have now the strength to move on... for me, STM is a masterpiece!

As always, the performances of the leads and other casts are outstanding. At first, I was doubtful of the chemistry of Park Shin Hye and Cho Seung Woo because of the age gap but then they both nailed it because both of them were really perfect for the roles . For sure you'll love their tandem too.

Looking at the ending, I guess it's a sad ending for Tae Sul and Seo Hae? I was very happy to see Seo Gil Bok received the warmth from Seo Hae's dad, but at the end we can see that he still has that hatred towards Tae Sul.

Watching the last few episodes, I realized how self-centered Tae Sul is and that kinda triggers people around him. Let's be kind and show compassion to the people around us!

As someone who likes CSW acting in Stranger and Life, that kinda helps me to go through the episodes until finish, but I gotta say this drama is confusing for me. Some don't make sense (not because it's sci-fi and fantasy), but the plot is not connected well (in my opinion). The message is not portrayed clearly and I'm left confused (with an uneasy feeling).

Kathlene Apr 09 2021 6:01 pm SPOILERS! The moment Han Tae Sul killed himself [the future self] was the moment a new timeline was created and the world was saved. Han Tae Sul knew the only way to stop it was to kill himself or wait it out watching Seo Hae die, he didn’t bear to see Seo Hae disappear before him. He knows he must choose the world over her and he does that this time.

The events of the first half of the episode are intertwined with the second half as its repeated from a different perspective.

But how can Han Tae Sul still remember everything and sees Seo Hae?

During the original timeline, at the first episode, we’re brought back to ground zero. Due to the paradox, Han Tae Sul is now aware his brother is safe but also remembers all the events. Seo Hae isn’t actually there and she isn’t actually real, she is a hallucination, a fragment of his imagination.

He is still taking medication which signals he knew of what could’ve happened and has relieved the moments over and over again. He refuses to take his medication and settles to see Seo Hae. The airplane scene then shows how the other passengers disappear.

This could mean that Han Tae Sul is so deep into hallucinating that all he sees is his Seo Hae. The passengers didn’t disappear but in his mind, they did. All he wants is to spend time with Seo Hae.

But what about Sigma?

Sigma was indeed saved and didn’t become that monster, however, he still hates Han Tae Sul and tries to copy him. IF you’re asking ‘then how does he have this notebook with all the information on it about time travel?’ It is most probably the notebook of Seo Hae’s father. Remember, he saved him and gave him his jacket, the notebook could’ve been what was in his jacket.

Sigma will continue to live in an illusion thinking that someday the future him might him and change the world or not. He is still crazy.

Yeah that's an interesting theory, the brother in coma woke up (as shown) and having the blueprint was able to make the uploaded one way or another, maybe asking other tech guys.

So despite Tae-Sul declined to finish the code, the uploader was constructed anyhow. Which allowed the future Sigma to travel back in time again to hand over to the (now) happy painter past Sigma, the notebook with all the "flow charts" of the events to come. Happy painter but still hated Tae-Sul which created a new kind of Sigma with glasses.

1. First Sigma, short hair, the past sigma 2. Second Sigma, the long hair Sigma that wears a bedgown 3. Third Sigma, short hair, but now with cool glasses...

And this third sigma will eventually survive the future events to be able to go back in time again to invest in stocks and be rich to fund Tae-Sul and build Quantum and Time.

The funny part (and the hard part is) Tae-Sul remember every iteration of their charade (as shown in EP 16 -- airplane scene)

The past sigma is playing dumb making people think he knows nothing of the future where in fact he has the flow charts because the future figma handed over him the secrets. So he's on the mission since day one to become the Sigma that conquers the future that Tae-Sul and Seo-Hae will wreck. That is their time loop.

First of all, I hate HTS so much, for me , he is the main reason why everything is happening. He looks down on people, SELFISH , and only cares about himself AND GSH. And come on,. Seo Hae is the only ONLY one who truly cares for everyone's future.

Sigma.... Gosh, he only need 1 people to show him kindness. I'd go crazy too if everyone treats me like how they treat the young and clueless Sigma. ( the scene I hate the most is when HTS mocks on Sigma's painting. GRAAARGHHHH).

Lets just say... Episode 16 finale was the best. I was frustrated from ep 1 - 15, but feel relieved on the finale. If could have been better if HTS realized the fault was his. How he treated his brother ( his own brother ffs ), his collagues, and the people surround him. Yes yes, you're a genious, but you're a j&rk, TaeSul.

Once again, this is only my opinion, overall, this is a good drama. Satisfying ending for me, and hoping for a season 2!~

I just like and enjoy this drama so much. It's my favourite. I'm so impressed with cho seung woo's acting...

Even when he gets the key, There's nothing inside the safe because as Han-Tae Sul Said ' Han-Tae San always carries the Blueprint to the uploader on himself' and then when Han-Tae Sul meets Han-Tae San in the Time Vision , Han-Tae San tells him that he hid there so that no one could find him. Because if he was found then so would be the Blueprint to the uploader. But at the season Finale we see that Han-Tae San is outside of that Time Vision and is alive and well. So Maybe after returning to the real world he found out that his brother committed suicide and since the Blueprint of the uploader is already with him and he is as clever as his brother and has more knowledge about time travel , He constucted the Uploader again and This time he saved his brother.

It is a myth, so it does not have to make common sense. If you know the myth of Sisyphus, you would understand that a day's chore in moving the boulder uphill is recurring, mundane, meaningless, difficult, sad, punishment for being clever and rivalling the gods. The story stayed true to its predetermined fate, that HTS will live out a fate like Sisyphus and it never ends. The good part of the story is that HTS/Sisyphus does not give up and he stays positive and trie hard with KSH reminding him of what he holds dear in his hallucinations from time to time. Similar plots can be found in "Inception" and "Shutter Island" though they may not be intending to illustrate the myth of Sisyphus. From the very beginning, we are told that the is going to happen and it turned out to be exactly what it is. This K drama is a beautiful story staying true to the main theme of the myth.

So enjoy it. Don't argue with it. It is never-ending and recurring because that is what Sisyphus is all about. If the ending was a happy one with the two main characters defying fate to come together then it is not a story based on the myth of Sisyphus.

For all I know, Sisyphus to this day is still pushing that boulder uphill only to see it roll downhill again in his myth universe. Every. Single. Day.

I get it that it may be possible that HTS being the creator of the Uploader would become a target of many people thus the inevitable destiny of him choosing between the world and the girl would always happen. When he sacrificed his life so that the uploadeer won't be completed made sense as an ending with SeoHae vanishing making them both heroes who saved the world rather than being with each other. That would have been enough for me, but instead the writer made a crap airplane scene that confused everything. Rather than some future flashbacks, the airplane scene and the last scene with Sigma, I hoped they used some air time to answer these: 1. More information regarding the Advance Team and how did thrl First Sigma formed them? 2. What really happened between SeoJin, Sigma and Mr. Park that made the latter betray them? 3. What did SeoJin regret if she is able to save her mother in the first place?

There are many loopholes in what could have been a good drama. I love PSH and her acting. Just hoped they gave more justice to how this wrapped up. I havent anticipated a drama for so long but this made me so unsatisfied.

Answer: Mostly everyone would assume that he is hallucinating because it was shown that he was about to take his medicine but then he realize he is not because technically speaking he didn't even know seo hee at that point in time so it is impossible for him to hallucinate her. so i assumed that he is the future Han Tae Sul.

So my theory is that Seo Hee from the future took the 1 time use uploader with han tae sul with the help of team asia mart. that's why she was able to supersede her previous time travel, thus saving her from vanishing. and they choose to travel when han tae sul wants to go to hawaii with his love one.

Also, my theory in the one time use uploader was that it was improved since the first time he took it they are wearing a lot(full clothes with bullet prooft).

I think that the craziest person the whole drama is SeoJin. She chooses to keep her bed-ridden alive by killing 50 million people, including her dad? That doesn't make sense to me.

The point of Eddy Kim at the end is that there will always be someone who has regrets and forces TaeSul to make the uploader. That's the point of the whole thing. Sigma said that. Everyone kept thinking of their own loved ones chose to obliterate 50 million others.

I do dislike that they just glossed it over to give a happy ending.

Apr 09 2021 12:26 am The ending part seems like the movie The Edge of Tomorrow, wherein tom cruise keeps on saving the girl but in the end, she keeps on dying. likewise in Sisyphus Han tae sul keeps making the Uploader that's why the situation keeps on repeating because the uploader is also what keep saving gang seo hee(future). "choose the girl or the world".

But after so many attempt which will always lead to the death of Gang Seo Hee {which was not shown, but i assumed it happened alot, since the 1st person who shot gang seo hee(wearing gown) was Sigma and then later Eddie Shot her. so we can assume that there will be people who will be after them since a lot of people wants the Uploader to be created.}

So Han Tae Sul decided to kill himself to prevent the Uploader to be created. which leads to all people who came from the future vanish.

what's bothering us is that why is he with Gang Seo Hee in the airplane wherein their age aren't the same because the present seo hee is still a child. remember when they 1st killed sigma, they went to the Uploader and travel back time, Han tae sul make sure that the uploader can only be used once. so the 2nd time they killed Sigma(as shown in the series) there are 2 han tae sul and 2 gang seo hee that are both from future( I'll just name them the 2 hostages and the 2 assassins).

After they killed sigma for the 2nd time, the 2 assassins went down to the altar and watch sigma vanish(because his future changed), and when seo hee is about to vanish it suddenly stop and she was shot by eddie after that and han tae sul choose not to make the uploader for eddie and kill himself which caused the vanish of seo hee and the others who came from the Uploader in the future year 2035 i think.

So why we still have a Gang Seo Hee from the future in the airplane. my theory is that we still have the 2 hostages( tae sul and seo hee) who went to the uploader after sigma was killed for the 2nd time. and remember that the uploader will only be use once so han tae sul made the uploader and travel back from the time the series start where he wants to go to hawaii with his love one. Han tae Sul and Gang Seo Hee( the hostage and the one in the airplane are similar) took the one time use uploader again which rewrite their time travel and supersede their previous time travel which prevent seo hee from vanishing.

That one time travel saves her, unlike the rest they weren't able to use the time travel because it doesn't exist in the future. Seo Hee was able to bypass that bacuase of the 1 time use of the uploader. i hope this clear something to you guys.i know there are still loopholes because it's a time paradox.

for those who think han tae sul is just dreaming, remember when he took the uploader for the 1st time, it's like he just woke up from a dream and he is in the park near the bunker which is similar to the airplane scene. the question is not where but when.

My theory about to the last part ? - Maybe, Han Tae-Sul is just hallucinating (as he experienced with his brother) when he wakes up in the airplane and Gang Seo-Hae is sitting next to him. He refuse to drink his medicine because he wants to get used to it (hallucinating) And he thinks this is the only way to see Gang Seo-Hae everyday. Remember on the 1st episode? When he keeps on seeing his brother xoz he is hallucinating, he will drink his med. Same scenario to Gang Seo-Hae on the last part. Before, he experienced it to his brother but now to Gang Seo-Hae . It can also be "a persons' guilt." Again, HTS already experienced it when he's hallucinating to his brother, I think one of the reason is Guilt. - The 8 yrs. old Gang Seo-Hae is living a happy life with his parents. - Without the uploader, people from future disappeared including Gang Seo-Hae. - When HTS died, new timeline was created. They did not expect Eddie will came and acts like a Sigma. (If they knew it, we all know that Han Tae-Sul will include it in his plans. But, Eddie came coz Sigma died. He acts the same way like Sigma) The Korean Peninsula is safe, war was stopped. - Sigma became "good" (?) but still, he's jealous to Han Tae-Sul. Remember when he told Han Tae-Sul that he became successful because of him? No, it's not. Even without him, Han Tae-Sul will became successful because we all know how genius Han Tae-Sul is. He is very capable!

Over all, I love the way they showed us this kind of ending. It has many messages. It show us that people do some mistakes, people have regrets but sometimes, mistakes and regrets gave us a lesson. No matter how big are mistake and regrets are, we have to accept it for us to move on in our life-

Yes, it's a bit messy and confusing especially the ending but overall I really enjoy this drama a lot especially the shooting and fighting scene with park shin hye, you get to see a different side of her.

Despite the happy ending I'm still confused for example what happened to sun, did he actually survive and what was hyun seung last task for hyeon gi and how was seo hae on the plane if the uploader was created and why wasn't there a war and why didn't she remember anything.

I feel like everyone should try this drama out even if it's confusing and messy but there are still good parts in the dramas.

As for the ending, I guess the two last scenes (the plane scene and Sigma's scene) refer to the cyclical nature of the sysiphus myth and how things will always start over from beginning. Even though Tae Sul didn't finish the code before killing himself, the machine was ready and was even used by him and Seohae to go back once. 20 years in the future is enough time to complete the project, since the code was already created by Taesul before. Besides, Sigma had notes from his future self and SeoHae got in the plane, which means Sigma succeeded in making the uploader in the future. TaeSul's medicine in the plane indicates that his brother still "died" in the past and it also seems to confirm that Sigma got his way again.

For me, what would explain the plane scene is that such a happy ending would only happen after Seohae defeated present Sigma. And, as I see it, it would only be possible if they went way back to TaeSul's past, since Sigma started hating him as a child and the hatred only grew stronger with time.

I wish I had seen TaeSul evolve as a human being in the show, since his his indiference to the people in his life was what caused all this mess. This was the main downside for me.

It means Seo-Hae time travels back to first scenes when Tae-Sul saves an airplane. Everything will start over, since Sigma is still alive - tho a happy artist for now - but psychopath and will eventually try to blow up Korea - again and again. It will keep repeating until Tae-Sul totally defeats Eddie Kim and crazy lady Seo-Jin trying to save her mom. Now with Seo-Hae and Tae-Sul in an 'earlier' version of series the final 'adjustment' of the future is possible - but the uploader will need to be built - and on and on. Now for one minor detail that twist it - TaeSul will be closer and a better friend to Eddie / know the birthday of Eddie in the future and be able to stop his 'friend' in the church - if it goes that far. Sad news: The uploader will need to be built for Seo-Hae and Tae-Sul to be together, which means the future is still uncertain and will keep repeating over and over as little details are worked out, new villains are created / military takeover of the Uploader, etc... Pandoras box has been opened and no way to close it.

Breaking down the story into three (3) main parts: The past, the present, and the future.

The past is where the war broke, Han Tae-Sul and Seo-Hae on a church wearing a wedding dress and was shot.

The present, same characters but different outfits. Also with a twist that their future self was there at the balcony or something that shot Sigma dead.

The (new) future, where Han Tae-Sul and Seo-Hae not on a church but on a plane.

So what happened? My theory here is simple, nothing has changed, the future did not change, it is just an illusion that it changed because they all have these records, notes, reports, and ideas of the past so they all think that the future has changed but in reality, it is all the present. A continuous time-loop builds on top of each other.

So this (new) future as they think it is is just the present reality with people from the past and present intertwined. The past, the present, and the future are all real and were not changed. That is how past Sigma is able to know the future and plan his evil deeds is because of the future Sigma continuously hands over the future to him.

And the Han Tae-Sul and Seo-Hae on the plane are the same people from the present since by the looks of it Han Tae-Sul had this confusion in his face that shows he knows what happened in the past and therefore confused about how in the world he got there.

As with how Seo-Hae got him there still a mystery to solve.

Amyus Apr 08 2021 1:53 pm Well, Sisyphus has finally ground to a halt with a most unsatisfying and poorly conceived climax - but then, look at the rapidly declining viewing figures for an insight into how well the series was received by domestic viewers. Overall - what a mess! What a shame that it included two very fine lead actors who did their best with a muddled script that was trying to be clever, but ultimately failed to deliver. The fight scenes were clumsy and awkward at best; and as for Gang Seo-hae (Park Sjin-hye), who was supposed to be a crackshot, trained in urban warfare by her father - she couldn't even shoot Sigma (Kim Byung-chul) when he was running away from her...in a straight line! She had three chances, each time from higher ground, and yet chose to chase him on foot. And yet in an earlier episode she'd casually taken out a whole group of assassins, from higher ground, with no trouble at all. Unbelievable!

This series dragged, with needless complications and events happening just because the plot demanded them. The whole story could have been told in ten episodes at most. My advice to any potential viewer: go and watch Cho Seung-woo in 'Stranger' instead; and Park Shin-hye in 'Memories of the Alhambra,' or just about anything else she's done.

The title "Sisyphus" is based on mythology, a never-ending punishment. This theory banks the fact that the painting from Sigma's apartment shows a man carrying a stone uphill (if its just for the title then the painting by Sigma should not have been there) also the end credits show that somehow it seems the "past" Sigma indeed knows what is happening as if he has a memory of the past or past timelines.

So this story maybe is about how he would be able to escape this never-ending charade. So if there will be a Season 2, then there will be a Season 3, 4, and so on, because this is a case of a "time paradox" and the only reason their cat and mouse story exists is because of the time machine.

The future Sigma was the only one who funded the main character's company that built the time machine (the uploaded) and the very reason the future Sigma was able to go back in time to fund it, in the beginning, was because of the time machine. So this is the time loop.

While the ending shows the uploaded final code was not developed, since the main character declined to code it, but the end credits show Sigma's notepad having the gist of the future, so somehow someone from the future must have handed it over to the "past" Sigma. So definitely there was some kind of time traveling that happened again despite the main character declined to complete the code. One theory here is the past self of the main character went to the future to finish the code or something since he is basically dead in the future. Something like this had happened from another movie called, the Time Traveler's wife.

The "past" Sigma (who was saved by the police father) maybe just playing dumb since he was shown in the park doing a painting for a kid and seems to be a good guy now but as what was shown he still has plans.

Now as for the most confusing part of the ending, the airplane scene before the end credits, I will post again once I have my gist.

This can be seen when missile vanishing into thin air.

Regarding the scene on airplane, might be alternate dimension/timeline where future already changed.

Main villain kept the diary. Means he has to start from scratch since everything changed. No season 2, director just want to create a tense situation for viewers. Thats normal for science fiction nowadays. Cant have happy ending everytime.

This drama have great concept/idea, just executed poorly. Glad they move into science fiction. Tired of seeing zombies blah blah.

Taesul and Sun only care about Seohae, Eddie only cares about Seojin, and President Park only cares about his wife. Their infatuation doesn't quite sit right to me.

Even Taesul's guilt and grief toward his brother isn't the main point anymore. Now the only hope is Seohae who consistently and seemingly the only one who really wants to change the world.

From episodes 1 to 14, there are many scenes that could be deleted or skipped. Maybe the director and writers wanted to show how meticulous this drama with all the detail, Kang Seohae's secrecy (that she almost always answer questions vaguely), and repetition from different POV that could take half of the show each episode. But it's like they lost sense of this drama while trying to be meticulous.

I hope the last two episodes will set it right for the drama.

In the earlier episodes, I've been wondering "why does Sigma want everyone to die? Why does he want the world to end?" My guess is right, he had a traumatic past with abusive dad. I don't think Taesul contribute in what he did, Sigma just had crooked ways of seeing the world since his family is not supportive. I also pitied him when he bought the charcoal blocks, tape, and rope to suicide. Deep inside his heart, he still wants someone to stop him.

I'm still wondering what happened to him after he was shot by Seohae. He didn't seem that evil at that moment. I wonder something happened afterwards that make him certain to end the world.

This drama kind of reminds me of Memories of Alhambra, I like them both but only when I watch it ongoing. The actors did great though, it's just the story and some things.

The drama is based on time. Waiting for the plot to fall into place is part of the journey lmao.

I guess its not for everyone.

Theres a introductory book called "Quantum, a guide for the perplexed" and i remember reading it thinking "yea i understood that", went to sleep and woke up confused again. I feel the same with this plot. Its very complex and requires utmost attention.

Not mentioned, hm times did Kang Seo He travelled to past just to save Tae Sul? Who puts her diary on their grave. What exactly happens in the war? Meaning the future Sigma started it, whereas the uploader just invented year 2020. This too a bit confusing to me. How did sigma got control with the uploader. Whats "time perusul" - i didnt understabd theres no subtitle. The police officer who became Control Bureu what happened to him.

Is it possible that, the present you can kill the future you, just what happened to owner of Asia Mart.

Im craking my braincells in every episode though. By reading the essay of The Sisyphus:The Myth, you will quiet understand the kdrama I really hope This will end good and happy. Hoping for that.

Tae Sul was the one who humiliated Sigma in the first place, making him want revenge. I'm not saying Sigma is right, just that Tae Sul did make things a lot worse with that phone call in episode 13.

I like the idea that everytime SeoHae goes back to the past they get a little closer to winning the war. And their situation improves in little detailes, such as the bunker. What I don't understand yet is why SeoHae doesn't have any memories of her mother surviving, when TaeSul improved the bunker. When Sigma's past changed he remembered it and received a scar from being shot...

Also, I think TaeSul's brother who died in the past is the one who was under Sigmas power. Maybe his brother from the present is still hiding somewhere. He must actually be alive to travel to the past and cause the plane accident.

What is difficult to understand is actally how Park Hyeong-Do can possibily kill his present self when he came from the future. That wouldn't be possible...

Even though the fight scenes are not great and there are some loopholes in the script, I still like how this show is able to connect so many dots and make sense for the most part of it.

I love sci-fi and have never seen a perfect time travel story, there's always something that doesn't add up. Still, I love this one. Thanks to the actors and writer for making such a nice drama to watch!

I was waiting for this drama for so long and I had high expectations since I’m a huge fan of Park Shin Hye, but to be honest I’m quite disappointed. The story itself is not bad but how it was portraited thats makes me upset. I still don’t understand a lot of things about the plot even if I watched until ep 10. There a lot of holes in the story. Also the acting is not the best, the action scenes are so poorly done and sometime they are not even logical. I hope the drama will get better in these last 4 episode because I really love Park Shin Hye and Cho Seung Woo.

I still like Cho Seung Woo’s Han Tae-Sul but Park Shin-Hye’s role as Gang Seo-Hae seems to be stiff, inadequate and lacks emotions . I’ve seen far better female leads and she’s not one of them even though she seems the right age for the role. There’s little chemistry between the two main roles. Let’s hope the next few episodes picks up soon.

someone in the world Mar 28 2021 2:30 pm honestly speaking this drama is gave me the excitement for the first 4 episodes, but the latest episodes are kinda frustrating me, it’s a bit boring, it’s tooks me a long time to finish just for one episode because the scenes are getting worse. I’m still watching it even for the new episode because I don’t wanna waste my time stick from the 1st ep for nothing (stop watch this drama)

Paige Mar 28 2021 5:39 am I love Sisyphus sooooo much,extraordinary plot it's mind boggling,uncommon and it has the best romantic development in a drama for me,usually when romance is being mixed in a scifi/fantasy/thriller drama it becomes messy but Kang Seo Hae and Han Tae Sul's loveline has been told in a subtle,cute,painful and sweet it's like it has all the flavors..I think it's safe to say that Seung Woo is the best onscreen love interest of Shin Hye (it's my own opinion)and I'm telling you their chemistry is no joke ,they're good together on and off cam..I love them so much they're now one of top 3 onscreen couple of all time

Most of people who comment here didn't like this drama. Because of the story, the acting... But I like them both! The story gave me lots of questions and I happily drown by it. I watch every episode carefully, understand them (the characters), try to solve what really happened -- together with them. I also like Seo-Hae and Tae-Sul chemistry.

About the similar story with Japanese manga.. hmm.. I saw some of Korean drama adapted from many popular Japan stories and foreign novel. Some adapted all part of the stories, but some drama just adapted the character. For examples : - Han Tae-Joo character in Watcher drama (from John Grisham novel, titled Rogue Lawyer, this is one of my fav novel, so I recognize it immadiately). - Perfect Number movie (from Keigo Higashino novel). But, for me, that's okay. They interpret it well. So, I choose to enjoy it.

The point is, this drama is not for everyone. People who doesn't like it maybe because it's not match with their taste. Like me who doesn't really like romantic drama. Popular dramas like Descendant of The Sun and The Legend of The Blue Sea. I watched only 2 eps of those. Not because they're bad. Just simply the stories and the characters didn't meet my interest. So, if you like mystery sci-fi or time travel things, give this drama a try. Happy watching, All :D

20th Century Boys main plot? Mar 26 2021 3:06 pm lmao, i watched till eps 12 by skipping every action scene because it's so bad and cringe, and by eps 12 i kinda realize, the main plot is almost the same with the manga "20th century boys" by naoki urusawa.

someone known as "friend" want to destroy the world, and was a childhood friend of MC (kenji) and the gang in the manga, that was forgotten by them, cause this "friend" is kinda forgotable and not stand out at all.

kenji and the gang make up a future scenario where villains would try to destroy the world, and in which the boys would stand up and fight; this scenario is transcribed and labelled Book of Prophecy

so well, sisyphus main plot is almost the same "friend" as sigma kenji as han tae sul his friends is all the one helped him book of prophecy is the storybook by sigma

kinda disappointed by this drama, not because of the storyline, just mainly because of the acting in the drama, mainly because of the action scene is so dumb.

In that present time, there is a young Gang Seo Hae who will survive the nuclear war with her father.

The future Gang Seo Hae, despite from being warned by her father ( to not approach han tae sul ) still approached him. This is not the first future Gang Seo Hae who have tried to prevent the war. There were countless previous future Gang Seo Hae who already tried to prevent the war but failed and died. That is why future Gang Seo Hae kept her diary in case she failed and be able to deliver the message of another future Gang Seo Hae. It's a looping, a never ending settings if the future Gang Seo hae keeps on repeating the same mistakes.

Future Gang Seo Hae died from the timeline of her young self who survive the nuclear war with her father. Thus, her timeline continuous to do the same thing of what the previous Gang Seo Hae did.

Stumbling her own grave makes sense, because her young self who survive the nuclear war was the one who stumbled it and as I've said the future Gang Seo Hae died in her young self's timeline.

Her diary was a gift from Han tae sul. The letter from her diary was for herself to let her know what happened and will happen. Her father kept those things from her because he was against the idea that he will never see Gang Seo Hae again. Her father knew of what happened in the past because he already met the previous future gang seo hae and saw that she failed to change the history.

What makes the story a bit dumb was the story of Kim Seo Jin's family. Sigma already gave them the cure for her mother and the fact that her family was rich, her father never even thought about to bring the cure to the laboratory to check its components and clone it so that they don't have to follow orders from sigma.

1) how did his brother, Han Tae San, been able to go back to the past to get the key as what Park Hyeong Do explained to Han Tae-Sul? Park Hyeong Do said that he promised to Tae San that he will protect Tae Sul if Tae San will get the key for him (key of the safebox). This is very confusing bcoz the Uploader was still going to be developed in 2021 (remember the setting of the story is in 2020), so how can Tae San be able to use the Uploader and go back to the past to get the key if the Uploader was not yet fully made/developed?

2) In year 2035, how come Gang Seo Hae stumbled upon her grave (which meant she died in the past), when the gang Seo Hae in the future is the original one? Meaning she survived the nuclear war in 2020 and grew up til 2035 in the future. Why will she see her grave in 2035 when she haven't gone to the past yet? We have to remember that when the nuke war broke out on Oct.31,2020, she was still 9 yrs old at that time and she survived, and there was no way that in her 9 yrs old life in 2020 would she have met already the successful Han Tae San.

I will just hold on til I finish this drama coz I really love CSW's acting. But please, oh god, PSH's acting here sucks to the core! Her facial expressions are so bland and she finds it hard now to shed tears easily (very unlikely in her performance in The Heirs). I hope somebody can shed light to my questions, as i'm very, very confused with some of the plot.

iamjustme Mar 19 2021 11:59 am Episode 6 actually gives us a big clue about what's going to happen to Han Tae Sul. The photo that Sigma held (that Han Tae San also saw) had the dates of the "accidents" that Taesul is going to have. Only the first two were subbed, but if you look closely there are around 6-7 in total. This explains why they keep on surviving the accidents. Simply like what CEO Park said "I am not going to die today."

We still have a lot to figure out from the characters, hope the upcoming episodes will answer our questions and curiosity.

Whenever I feel doubtful because some things don't really make sense, the casts are the reason for me to keep going. In Cho Seung Woo, Sung Dong Il, and Tae In Ho I trust.

Sam Mar 19 2021 11:48 am Plot twist are very predictable but subtle it makes you go 'ohh...thats why'. Director uses alot of cut scenes to make you think one way but an eps later explains it. Currently at eps 10 finally the real story starting to unfold looking forward to the ending. Drama has a great but short story plot, gets draggy at times. I guess the director is trying to prolong the show by adding alot of redundant filler and action scenes which can be quite annoying. I will totally recommend the drama but i recommend waiting for the fully series to be released. It is the type of drama where you will want to fast forward because of all the extra scenes...

I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a drama that could make your brain hurt by thinking for hours only to find out that what you thought isn't going to happen. Unpredictably is really the selling point of this drama because of the fact that the plot revolves timelines. In addition, what really hooked me to this drama was the humor of Han Tae-sul, and the chemistry of the casts.

Note for those who the realness of things here, I think that you should revisit the definition of sci-fi.

Just ignore about SIGMA or control bureau (i still can't figure it out tho) but i enjoyed the plot. Chemistry the main lead is no kidding. CSW did a great job, so naturally and this role is very suits him. Please Please Please for those who doubt this drama, just give it a try.

I mean her character’s interesting (unlike in Alhambra, I thought her character was boring even though the show itself “Alhambra” was good enough), but that’s the only thing that i really liked bout the show : Park Shin Hye. The story/plot is ok, but confusing. The show is painfully slow. And a lot of events are unrealistic. I’m not talking about the action scenes, though. Speaking of the action scenes, it’s good alright. But most of the time I don’t even understand what’s happening, why they have to fight. Its good to keep audience curious, but they should at least give one answer per episode instead of giving us more confusing things to try and understand bc not everyone can be patient lol

Feels like this role is not suitable for seungwoo. His previous work like starnger and life were amazing. Park shinhye is doing good. Han taesul is more like a software engineer only time he used physics was finding the suitcase.

There were too many unrealistic scenes which bugged me a lot. They're so unrealistic to the point that I felt the writer was underestimating our logic. She’s doing a great job and action drama’s suit her. Thank you for not letting her run around screaming and crying. She’s taking the lead and kicking butt! I love it. The drama gets better with every episode. All of the actors are doing a great job. If you’re looking for a romance fluff drama this drama is not for you. However if you want intrigue, time travel and action with a taste of romance well this is the drama! Please watch you will not be disappointed.

They had them couple of times in situations from where the leads shouldn't have been able to escape. Yaya Feb 26 2021 9:31 am To be honest. I am just startled that the drama shows unrealistic scenes of the visual effects. apparently, the cgi in some scenes are not well-working. However, I appreciate to the actors and actresses who play their character well. Especially for CSW and PSH..Both of them show a good chemistry on and off screen. They also portray a different role as before. The storyline itself is still confusing for me, but it is quite interesting and has a basic problem. I look forward to watching the next episodes to know how they fix the issue,including about their romance..

Was never a fan of Shin Hye's acting, she was just okay. But I see her improving through the years and I really like her vibe here. Her action scenes are just amazing.

I'm kind of surprised that people found those first two episode confusing. For my part, it was very clear. And the drama can't give all the info to the beginning, otherwise there will be nothing to see at the end.

The story is very simple. In 2035 humanity is living in an apocalyptic world and some humans are going illegally in the past in order to flee that world, hence the immigration office, which keeps saying "The important thing isn't where they from." We all understand the innuendo, it's not where but when.

During those first two episodes we understand very well why Kang Seo Hae's father told her not to go near Han Tae Sul. Indeed she is destined to die because of him?! And for paying close attention to the dialogues, we notice that KSH has several times said "this time I'm going to change things; this time I'm going to save him". This implies that she has several times undertaken this journey to the past to change the course of events but unfortunately the outcome always remains the same.

And there is also a suspicion that if everyone is looking for HTS it's probably because he has something to do with the creation of time travel, at least he or his brother. My theory is that I suspect a temporal loop.

I hope I’ve cleared some of the confusion.

Whits Feb 23 2021 12:35 pm Interesting plot with interesting cast. It's confusing at first but when i keep watching it, i still confused huhaha. The group somehow mixed up, so I try to classified them. And then I understand the situation better (This is based on my theory, no argument needed.)

Mix&Match, the fighter - (Kang Seohae) Warrior from future world, and somehow escape to current world. She need to avoid crossing path with Taesul at all cost because she's gonna die because of him but she looking for him anyway, it's written her destiny. She will stay by his side, protect him and change the sad ending. (Han Taesul) Genius engineer, CEO of Quantum&Time, which I believe the creator of time machine, unknowingly (but geniusly) create a door lead to the future.

Future world - Escape from their war world to the present world to achieve some kind of mission (Taesul's brother mentioned that they hunt for Taesul, maybe that's the mission)

Control Bureau - knows well about future world existence. Which they believe dangerous and poisonous. They will catch them and anyone that in contact with them, and get rid of them right away.

Embassy of Outsider - broker between two world. +planning something big inside their base involving the weapon(?) or dangerous stuff from both world.

Present world - know nothing, lived peacefully :)

I'm afraid PSH performance peak was in The Heirs and Pinocchio, back to MOA, and the two latest movies Alive and The Call. From my perspective, PSH not really maximize her acting skill while in the project (movie or series) that has an intense plot story and fight scene.

However, it's good to see her more in the newest k-drama, I hope she can maximize her acting skills more. I do like her but prefer in drama likes The Heirs and Pinocchio.

I actually quite love the camera work, particularly for PSH's fight scenes (I love watching her kick ass!) because it reminds me of the Mirror's Edge gameplay (a game I adore but I can see where anna mentioned feeling dizzy - when I played ME - it used to make me dizzy too) but I found it very exciting to watch.

Some of my favourite actors are in here, I'm excited! It's also nice to CSW be a little cheeky and smile more, in that respect, this is quite different to his recent projects.

I think there is a lot to take in initially and if you feel confused the first time, it helps to watch it twice - Eminemement's summary is pretty helpful, if you read that and watch it again I think it will become easier to understand.

It's a highly anticipated drama that's what i heard and read on news.. But i guess it working on the right start nd maybe it won't disappoint.. Fighting scenes of parkshinhye is not new for me doctor's and alive movie was making some record on it... But I'm craving for more and action scene's fits her so well... Her character's on some project changes and her choice of partners is on level up, seniors but world records actors... ( and dont we forget Alive with YooAh) Girl to girl tandem in movie call proves her steady work and hold a great reviews and record during pandemic @ through Netflix 1st episode plane scene's Ml not to be worry his got his sexy and crazy ideas how to deal with it.. Kind of funny Fl father scene's her eyes with those expression and the floods of tears it's so touching.. Episode two shinhye fighting scenes and that jumps.. I am really curious to see if the title was picked concerning something like that or a message like that. I have watched Park Shin Hye in the call recently but i wasnt that excited, on the contrary Jong seo jun was more convicing. I'll give a try on this one though.

On the other hand PSH and me it never hooked, I have absolutely nothing against the actress but these choices of dramas and me it was always the total disenchantment, The heirs being the worst of the worst concerning me. The only drama of her that I followed to the end was MoA although I loved it and wondered how important her role was in it. Anyway I hope that with this drama I can finally say that I liked one of his works.
