Actor & Singer Park Yong-Ha was found dead at his home in the early morning hours of June 30th, 2010, after apparently committing suicide. According to the Seoul Police, Park's mother found Park Young-Ha hanging from a cell phone charging cable around 5:30 AM.

To decide to do something like that, you have to be in the bottom of a pit where you feel the best escape is to just disappear. It's a decision that will only be understandable to the person doing it only. Even if someone else is going through a similar feeling, the decision is individual. Depression can bring someone to that last resort. Escaping from reality sometimes is a resort people choose. If their reality is so sad that they rather not exist, is an awful feeling. That's why it is important to seek help when you have any type of feelings like you feel like you want to end your life. The ones that will help you the best is not even doctors, but loved ones. You have to come clean and speak your feelings to loved ones, they will be there to help you more than anyone else can.

I am speaking from experience. I still see a doctor, but the people who really made me try again was my mom, my dad, and both of my sisters. They were the real reason for me to decide to chance. But that only happened once I went to them and told them about how I feel. They used to come to be and I used to just tell them to go away. Finally I went to family, after a failed attempt to end my life, and from then on, everything changed. Please seek help from professionals and have your loved ones help you through this hard time if you are feeling down.

Joyce Yagoda Oct 25 2014 8:20 am Great concert on youtube. Don't understand a word he is singing. He is excellent at making love to his audience and they are really enjoying him. I guy wrote an excellent piece about him, saying he did not know him well but he was the type of man that would smile not matter how he felt. He heard a yr after his death about happened to him and he cried inconsolably for weeks, until he realized that it was affecting his own mental hygene. He compared him a a teenage cutter. He said teens under a lot of emotional problems will cut themselves. This is done to show they are still alive. In this songer's case too tired, too much stress, too much ETOH, too much sadness, lack of sleep or too many sleeping pills. This may have caused him to feel dead inside, he deal with it by playing around with electrical cord, and electrocuted himself trying to prove he is still alive. This may well have been the disastrous irony of all. He seriously doubts he committed suicide because he was a man who loved life. I did not know of him but would have definitely gone to one of his concerts.

It is really a pity that he ended up like this. I always remember his sad eyes despite his smiles. His watery eyes are too touching. It seemed that being popular as a hallyu star did not make him happy. I am really sorry. He is such a talented actor. Rest in peace, Park Yong Ha! I love you with all my heart.

Early Korean reports mention Park Yong-Ha committed suicide for a combination ofreasons: 1.) His father was diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer (Park Yong-Ha was extremely close to his father). 2) Has experienced financial difficulties since setting up his own management company. 3) Has suffered from insomnia for the past 14 years (sensitive personality/worries). 4) He drank alcohol that evening.
