Drama series contains the joy and sorrows of police officers at a precinct office. They try to uphold values in everyday life and maintain justice.

Jung-O (Jung Yu-Mi) lives with her single mother and her father has ignored her existence. After graduating from college, Jung-O struggles to find a job. One day, she decides to take an exam to become a police officer. She studies for 2 years and finally passes the exam. Jung-O enters the police academy. There, she meets fellow cadet Sang-Soo (Lee Kwang-Soo).

Sang-Soo has a mother and an older brother. He worked as an intern at a water company. He wanted to become a full time employee there and worked incredibly hard, even buying stock in the company. Sang-Soo was devastated to learn that the company was a fraud. He saw a notice announcing an exam to become a police officer. He decided then to become a police officer.

Jung-O and Sang-Soo go through hard times at the police academy, led by their instructor Yang-Chon (Bae Sung-Woo). After training at the police academy, Jung-O and Sang-Soo begin work at the Hongil Police Precinct Office. They encounter situations they never expected. Their instructor Yang-Chon receives a demotion and also begins work at the Hongil Police Precinct Office.

Firstly are the police in Korea treated as badly as this series implies - both by the general public and the police force itself. The fining of officers I find terribly unfair for some so called misdemeanour whilst on duty. Secondly are there really so many violent crimes in Korea as “Live” suggests . Thank you

K gianneschi Jan 07 2023 1:59 am I’m half way through the drama. I like most of the characters except the lead Yeom Sang soo. I hate pushy arrogant guys. As a female I wouldn’t have been comfortable being his friend. I didn’t find him funny, nice, smart or attractive. He just comes off as an angry guy who wants the pretty girl. He was a complete turnoff for me. His personality is too rigid for me.

It did seem like many of the characters had difficult childhoods and had not worked through some of the trauma. The lives of these police officers is tough and not one I would want to do. I’m glad there are people that can do that job. I come from a medical background so we are treated with respect from the general public. Police officers don’t get the same respect.

They are different kinds of people who have different backgrounds, attitudes, stories, and problems. What makes me feel good is, these people quarrel, yell, criticize, get jealous, hate, reprimand, misunderstand, etc., to each other and yet at they end of the day they are friends, colleagues who encourage and support each other.

Jaine Feb 18 2022 12:36 pm The theme song at the end of the last scenes...was ironic...considering the lack of smile in the female lead. The lyrics: you're not to blame look inside your mind and try to find this heart of mine you've got the smile I wanna see. Then we see a final scene, Oh Yang-Chon, who has a smile that sends love and kindness. An Jang-Mi as she drove by, had a complete change to a loving smile! The female lead however salutes but again why oh why oh why!! the camera lingers on her non smile. Han Jung-O, resentful? certainly sullen, holding back any joy, unable to express a range of facial expression...why? And her last photo where she bears down on the cheeks in a non smile, do you know what I mean? when I do that it signals worry, (I can feel it) so I guess she was cast to look worried no matter what so in my opinion there was no story arc for her. I had really hoped at the beginning that An Jang-Mi would take her under her wing and develop her depth, (post trauma and all). (Spoiler alert) That was not the case. That said, An Jang-Mi , and Eun Kyung-Mo who I had seen in other shows who had antagonist characters there, completely won me over as they showed a protagonist character development. Kudos to the writer!! Even Song Hye-Ri won me over from her grumpy mumbling to a sincere adult but Yeom Sang-Soo was the real wonder to watch in this show, going from bungling youth to mature adult. Just beautiful to see. I will watch this again, but I will fast forward through the bizarre long camera takes on what I can only guess is the designated eye candy (we call it in the US); the beauty queen person in the show, Han Jung-O. I bet she gets more airtime than any other person in those scenes when they are simply gazing, not interacting. I don't blame the writer and I don't blame the actor because I clearly saw her smile at Yeom Sang-Soo when the camera was not doing a closeup. And she smiled when alcohol was mentioned so I don't get that. Many many scenes could have warranted a decent smile as she got to know Yeom Sang-Soo. I wonder if the camera man acted for himself or xhose those camera pauses for the director, and as I thought about how much this bugged me, I happened to see a post on fb about screen star from the 30's and 40's, Hedy Lamarr. I found an article saying "Hedy Lamarr, the exotic, dark-haired beauty who epitomized sultry glamour" and it said: "She claimed to scorn the glamorous image" which of course our Korean star seems to appear to do too while holding a sultry even sullen pose. Google image search for yourself to see what I mean. Hedy Lamarr; images, then if you can, ask the camera man or director if this was what they were going for. If you click on the People Magazine link you will find out "the Austrian star — widely hailed during her time as the most beautiful woman alive — also had a secret second life as a successful wartime inventor." That is perhaps why her almost contentious, sullen (called sultry) look beguiled onlookers. No doubt she was brilliant! So...maybe the director, or camera man, both, were Hedy Lamarr fans. She was known for "her pale skin, almond eyes and dark hair gave her an exotic look", and this actress Jung Yu-Mi was a close second. Anyway, it was highly suspicious since there were so many times she could have been shown in an arc of development, but there she was like a statue. She was very believable for a cop and I noticed she is like a superhero in the school nurse show which I can imagine with her sullen resolve. However that is the antithesis of her theme in this show claiming she has no sense of duty when she looks duty bound. In fact this show could have been named "Sense of Duty". So there we are. My little unsolicited comments about a show I really loved. I mean it. The writer captured the dilemna in serving the public. And just one last thought; the drinking culture presents an enormous burden on the police. I feel sad for them! There should be a "pick-up-drunks" division with a separate bathroom and holding area because it is so disgusting.

Dramamama Feb 09 2022 12:51 am The underlying plot is good but there’s too much stirring of emotions using unfair plots that makes it a little unrealistic. How is it that there’s no paper work or paper trail before a police is suspended? A police cannot defend himself? Seriously, a slight push and the policeman’s career ends? The whole force would just be shooting it’s own feet all the time.

But yes, the treatment of old retired officers I can believe.

live Aug 22 2021 2:05 am Just finished rewatching this after 3 years. Whaaaww, what a beautiful ride. I’m still amazed of all the actors and their brilliant acting skills. Especially Kwangsoo & Bae Sung Woo in the last eps. If you wondering whether to watch it or not, please watch it! You’ll not disappointed of how realistic this drama is. It capture the Korea’s society perfectly. Also one of my most favourite drama of all time.

Aayansh Jul 22 2021 4:06 pm Wow what an amazing ride has been with this show. It had one of the most realistic scenarios and responses by the characters. Everyone involved in this drama and I mean everyone, be it directors, actors, music producers, editors etc., did an incredible job making it. It is such a pure and human drama. I have to though write especially for the disciplinary hearing scene. God it was one hell of a well written and well acted scene. I just loved the last deliveries of the protagonists.

The actors of this drama are so so so capable and amazing actors that I can't help being impressed at every scene ,especially, Kwang Soo. I didn't know such a gem of an actor was hidden doing variety shows. He is an incredible actors. I've seen some of his other works like It's okay, that's love and The Sound of your Heart. In both those dramas he had to his characters in exaggeration and therefore I couldn't tell how he was as an actor but damn did he shine in this one. I am just so impressed and happy to see his amazing acting. Loved the drama more than usual because of him. The others actors are seasoned as well and did a great job.

If I had to compare this drama with other then I can only think of Misaeng as of right now. This show showed the real lives of patrol officers judt like Misaeng showed the daily lives of office workers. However I found this show so much more enjoyable. It had funny elements, romance, drama, mystery, action, and thrill. It was Misaeng with a lot more colors.

What an amazing and rewarding ride it has been watching this show. I would gladly recommend this show to everyone (with restriction of kids.)

A good in-depth understanding of what made them tick and their vulnerability was exquisitely acted. All relationships (good, bad and ugly) were portrayed in a mature manner. (Nice for a change.) None of that ridiculous k-drama silliness. It was as if I was watching people I could relate to in my real life. Not emotionally stunted childish conversations/behaviors as one normally sees in these romance drama Except ‘One Spring Night’ or ‘Something in the Rain’ etc.

Kudos to writers, actors, directors, producers, and all the support team that made this one happen! More Like This Please!

But the most emotional is when they all save the baby. I really2 cry affraid that baby is dead. And the most emotional that kwang soo is got internal affair. For saving his mentor and the victim. And the mentor almost die for multiple stabbed

Is make me very emotional. Kwang soo act is really2 good. He give all the best.

But i little bit dissapoint. Cause the romance part can be more dramatic. And it will be perfect.

I want to see kwang soo fight for his heart. Fight to really get his love more elegant.

But overall i really2 love the drama. Hope kwang soo get more main role. His great.

And i love kwang soo hair in the 1st eipode. Water vendor. Great2 drama. Love you kwang soo

Very fitting in today's world where a lot of people are swayed by the media bias and think that all police are bad. Each individual has their own story that made the whole series entertaining and fun to watch. 95/100

I love how the issues were portrayed and I love how every single character is flawed. I will miss this drama and I think I'll definitely rewatch it again. jasmine Feb 19 2021 2:03 am I love the drama and all the characters there but one, the main male character - Yeom Sang-soo. Not meant to offend anyone who loves him but his character is so annoying. If I had a friend like that, I'll seriously slap him on the face so many times. He's type of person who is competitive but he has nothing to be competitive for. He's silly, narrow-minded, selfish, discourage, always acting out. He thinks of himself as the best though he's nowhere close to average. When he acts out and makes mistakes, he does not have courage to admit it yet he blames other people for his own shitty mistakes. OMG, he's really the type of person I hate the most. Sorry for offensive comments, I truly love this drama but this character of Sang-Soo is such a turn-off

Nct127 Jan 14 2021 3:22 am Best drama I’ve seen of police honestly refreshing in some sense wasn’t cheesy at all had no basic romance or it was like a murder plot but like just life. Each cases was well written and god ep 15 was so far the best I was in shock when the cop got shots. But I feel this drama shows life lessons and in hidden ways without being pushed onto the viewers this drama just wanted you to become a better person in a way through the main 3 rookies and the cops. I wish they make a season 2 but since this was in 2018 least likely but I hope to find another drama like this

oms Oct 11 2020 10:13 am I decided to watch this drama after watching inseperable bros because I am so amazed by kwangsoo's acting skills. While watching him I was like, "Is this really the kwang soo I watched in variety shows?". He's so good, I like he's facial expressions especially his serious face. I am so inlove with sang su and oh yang chon's chemistry. All the actors really did a great job portraying their character. They made me laugh, angry and cry. This is really a good drama. I don't know if it just me, I feel like the drama is showing yang chon & jang mi love story in the past by sang su & jeong oh instead of showing a flashback. There's a lot of similarities in the four main characters. I really love this drama. I hope S.korea will produce more slice of life drama like this that is not focus on romance. Prison Book and Stove League are my favorite slice of life and now Live is on the list. These 3 seats on the same table.

shin Oct 11 2020 9:58 am I love this drama so much. One of the best slice of life drama. So realistic that's why it really hits you in the heart. Every character are well written and develop. This is a good and informative drama. It will make you realized that being a police officer isn't easy. This drama will show you that being a police officer is more than what you see in the news and media. Their struggles facing all this cases everyday. A dangerous job but yet they are paid low and some people look down on them. I also like how they emphasized the corruption in the force. And because of the few bad apples the whole force suffers from peoples criticism. I RECOMMEND THIS DRAMA. THERE'S A LOT OF LIFE LESSON TO LEARN.

Nina Sep 24 2020 2:51 am A very good drama that I didn't even realize that each episode is about 1 hour and 15 mins. Usually the POV of a crime drama is from the detective, but this time it's from patrol division. We can see how they tackle with light cases like drunk or fight that happen everyday. We appreciate more the police who's working in the field as the actual frontliner of a police force. All characters are developed well including the supporting characters which make the plots and chemistry more lively. Even though they are supporting actors, their acting deserved praises.

lydia Sep 12 2020 4:24 am very realistic. characters are flawed, just like ourselves. i loved that this show didn't focus on the romance, but on a police officer's day-to-day life. what really touched my heart was seeing a divorced couple (oh yang chon + jang mi) overcoming their hurdles and getting back together in the end. fantastic ensemble and storytelling, 10/10 would recommend.

We get to know each officer with their struggles & issues and learn that they are normal human beings too while taking on such a tough job. Really underrated and deserve more recognition in my opinion!

All the cast members are superb n deliver outstanding performances! Bravo to all the cast members! My favourite cast members are Sung Dong Is, Lee Eol, Lee Sun Jae, Bae Sung Woo, Bae Jung Ok and Lee Kwang Soo. Stellar performances by these awesome cast members! Wil Aug 19 2020 1:29 am I think that's because the genre of the drama is slice of life so all the characters in the story are made as humanized as possible, maybe that's why the characters of Jung Yu Mi and Lee Kwang Soo are a little selfish here, just like most humans are. They are not made perfect like in other dramas. And agree with everyone I ship Jung-O x Myung-Ho so much, so sad that they weren't end up together. Still, this drama is one of my favourite dramas ever.

To be sure, besides the 2 main characters, I really like the other characters. and I finished this drama because of its shining supporting character.

I'd only seen Bae Sung Woo in a few other dramas, but absolutely loved his acting here. Lee Kwang Soo has been one of my favorites since "Dong Yi," and he was also great in "Puck." I'll watch this one again.

This drama proved me once again, that korean drama can be amazing to watch. At least after few low level romance ones. This drama shows bittersweet life of a police officers, being spit on and being celebrated. Having to deal with drunks and getting into dangerous situations. What makes this drama so good is also what's evolving around every character, everyone is unique and has his own story, problems thinking. Also it's so interesting to see, how different is thinking of experienced officers and rookies. And so much more.

Are the police officers that clueless many times or is this the reality of the way Korean police officers performs their duties? So frustrating to see some of the scenes. Just give an example, the police officers are at a crime scene and am officer crabs bloody baseball bat with their bare hand. They have no know how at a crime scene. Compare to the US police dramas like Law and Order, the director has missed much important police scenes. Someone like me with no law enforcement background is just flabbergasted with how wrong some of the scenes are. It's too bad that the storyline is good, but the directing the some of the important scenes have missed true police work. It's shame that this is the way Korean police work is portrayed. Furthermore, I am sorry for the Korean police officers especially when they have no respect. If someone spits at police officers in the US, they will be arrested. If you hit a police officer, you will be put in jail or maybe shot.....some great storylines and many missed police work. Frustrating!

"Live" is the 1st series keeping me up late to see the next episode. The writing/directing/acting is incredibly good. It's never overplayed, the actors bring in realistic performances without going over the top compared to American movies/series. The humor always takes you by surprise-you don't it's coming until it's delivered by these actors--with craft. In my younger days I was a stage actor and did some film --I like seeing good work. I hope these talented people know how much they are appreciated for their work--you kept me up many a late night. Kamsahamnida.

This drama literally drags you by the heart strings with each event that the police officers go through. Especially constantly being blamed for trying to keep themselves alive, being made out to be enemies by the media. It has you fired up, hating the system and their abuse of power. Also, it starts making you think how society as a whole is such ill-informed spoiled brats who choose not to know better and care about what others, especially those that risk their lives daily, barely making up the money for it, do to try to LIVE.

I literally love the entire cast. I originally watched it for Lee Kwang-Soo, but the entire cast did phenomenal. This is a 10/10 rating for me. I simply adore this drama. I am so glad I Netflix had it available.

John Jun 15 2018 11:37 am This was one of those shows that started out a little slow, just the first episode or 2, but which ended up being one of the best shows I have seen in a very long time. There were episodes and scenes that were hard to watch because of what the characters have to deal with, and others that will tear at your heart, and others that make you laugh and others that will leave you sobbing. I seriously hope they make a season 2. One more thing, the soundtrack for this series was really good, too.

First few episodes were really boring but as I get to know the characters, it really draws me in. Bawling my eyes out during some episodes and laughing hysterically for others. Anger, sadness, happiness, excitement. This drama captures the ups and downs in life and how we should learn to overcome obstacles and embrace imperfections. I totally recommend you watch the entire drama till the end and i promise it is worth it! This is some serious introspection on ourselves and the society. ^^

Over acting by a few of the cast especially kwang soo (whom I cannot take seriously in these kind of roles b.c of his character from R.Man) and sung woo. They seemed to want to portray the 'realistic' life that these policemen go through but all of them look pristine even after a scuffle or not being able to sleep much.. etc The perfect make up and hair takes away from the goal it's trying to accomplish. It's missing a few details but if you're into these kind of 'real' styled shows you'd have some fun watching it.

This show seemed very slow in the beginning but it needed to cover the backgrounds of the main characters and show how their lives had developed to their careers as Police Officers. I hope the difficulties facing the Korean Police are not as hopeless as portrayed in the various situation where honest cops are scapegoats for corrupt superiors. These characters and the actors who portrayed them were wonderful to watch. There was a great deal of emotion developed and displayed by them. It was refreshing to see grown men cry. I found the relationship of the two main characters, Han Jung-O & Yeom Sang-Soo, was refreshing in that they had a friendship that didn’t rush right into sex, the sleeping on the floor with each other supported the almost brother/sister relationship they had in the beginning. This show touched on many of the problems facing women and the prejudices that are very real. The men also faced difficulties which were well developed and understood. The episodes were long and binge watching was not as easy but I was grateful there were so many episodes. My congratulations and sincere complements to those who developed this series and especially the writers who did a great job getting this story told in Korean and English. This series erased the concepts and stereotypes of crazy chattering Korean characters I’ve seen in the past. I truly hope the police in Korea are better respected than the show demonstrated. If not, this show may help improve that. Thnx, Delyse

I love how the writer and the director were able to make a realistic portrayal of the everyday life of police officers (both junior and senior patrol officers) which made me understand their role in society more. This drama shows the intertwining relationships and camaraderie among the police which is relatable, meaningful, and fascinating at the same time. Lee Kwang Soo is a revelation for me, indeed. (love this guy!) But then, all the other actors are just as excellent. I cannot even pinpoint anyone for they all acted above par. This is one drama that I hope will have Season 2... please? Same cast, same characters, perhaps a new romance for Officer Choi Myung-Ho (the cute Shin Dong-Wook). Congratulations everyone! Good job!

I've been putting off watching this because I wasn't sure what this drama would bring to the table until I came across it on Netflix and just gave it a go.

Best decision I've made, this drama will make you feel.. a lot (It made me doubt Korea's criminal justice system, made me feel frustrated but content at the end of it. That's what it's all about, good television.. right?) The performance was incredible, the cast was sublime of course! Especially Kwang Soo, he outlived his expectations for me.

Please do me a favour and give this drama a chance, you will not regret.

I never cried to a k drama four times in my life and never rated a show so this is a really really good show I love and would watch it again to be honest

LEMON May 23 2018 12:33 pm I have to admit that I watched this drama out of boredom, but it did not take long before I became addicted. I work in the frontline of health care, so I can relate to the frustrations the characters were facing from both the public and management. It is safe to say the drama is an accurate portrayal of what happens to those who work in the frontline. You are out there to help save lives, but constant criticisms are thrown at you, along with all forms of abuse (mental, emotional, and physical). Do not forget the complicated coworkers who also make it more difficult by not being a team player. At the end of the day, it takes special people to survive in such a harsh field that most people will run away from - countless numbers of people have run away when they are trainees. We run towards danger while others run in the other direction, and this drama does a good job at showing it, while reminding viewers that we may seem "heartless" at times, but that is how we protect ourselves. If we let one incident get to us, we would have quit from the start. Last but not least, this drama is more realistic than other ones I have watched so far. I hope that while it is entertaining for the viewers, it reminds them that not everyone in the frontline is corrupted. A few bad ones does not represent the rest, so rather than treating those who are trying to save and protect the public like dirt, be thankful that there are those who have the personality and energy for what they do. There are a lot more people out there who are more unfortunate than you, which are the ones who do not have access to the protection and healthcare that we have.

This drama is daebak! Kudos to all the staffs and actors! My views about police officers vanished. Bad views turned into good. We should not just really rely on the media. They are very manipulative.

It is painful beautiful, the characters are real humans not super heroes, the cast is really great - not only just beautiful faces or handsome young idols. It raises true issues about Korean everything - police force, state, people, system, beliefs, behavior, etc. This drama could shake the society a bit if only people would be willing to see the reality of it. It is not fictional, although is stated as one, is painfully realistic. BRAVO to all involved in this amazing story!

And I finally finished watching it yesterday and I have to say, the direction this drama took was amazing! It portrays the more realistic side of police officers in the patrol division. I love seeing how realistic the characters were. They weren't perfect. They made mistakes. They had fears. They had accomplishments. They were real and relatable. I especially love the relationships between the characters. They didn't always get along, but they didn't hate each other and had each other's backs. They helped each other grow. I felt so many emotions while watching this drama. I celebrated their accomplishments with joy. I cried when they were in pain. I understood their fury with the system. I don't know what else to say, but this drama was just soooo good. I hope to No Hee Kyung continue to write such beautiful dramas that touch on topics that people may not speak about much. ♥ And I just have to mention how wonderful Bae Sung Woo portrayed 'Oh Yang Chon.' I think he's the most memorable character. He was tough, but also full of love in his own way. Well, everyone did so well in this drama. I just think Jung Yumi's character is a bit dull, but it's fine. The story itself was so good that I can look past that. Anyway, I'm sad that this drama has ended, but I'm happy to have taken the time to watch it. ♥

And I'm pretty sure you just wanted Jung Oh to end with Myeong Ho because he's better looking right, besides Myeong Ho hasn't moved on yet from his previous relationship.

He's pretty self-absorbed, but i think that's the whole point of his character, because that's how it is in real life for an average person, where he is often forced into situations where he can only think about himself first. I'd prefer Jeong-O to be with Myeongho, who seems more dependable.

Fangirls pls don't come after me for saying this. It's my opinion. Plus Kwangsoo is the main reason why i'm watching this drama. But no regrets. Easily one of my favourite dramas of all time.

It showed incredible chemistry between the characters and the storyline is very realistic with some funny, emotional twists. It has been an emotional roller coaster so far. I would even watch the episodes without subtitles. That’s how good it is.

The emotional scenes are touching and sometimes make me very sad but I like how the sad scenes aren’t forced like in some kdramas. It also isn’t cliche like most kdramas these days. This is a master piece because it portrays the difficulties police officers are faced with everyday and is also thought provoking. Kudos to the writer, director, actors, and actresses. Wise Prison Life and Live are definitely my favorite kdramas for 2018 so far. I highly recommend watching this kdrama if you’re into well developed and thought provoking kdramas.

I work in the frontline of healthcare, so the moment Kwangsoo's character expressed his desire to be part of a violent crime case, I was cracking up so bad - in ED, you never say the word "quiet" because a shit storm will be heading your way. So far the drama has been quiet realistic, which is something I like, and we often have police bringing people in (from mental health patients to victims of some accident to murderers), so watching a drama that focuses on the hardships (not work romance) is refreshing.

Just a Viewer Apr 20 2018 11:58 am Among all kdramas, this one made me do something I wouldn't think of. Normally I'll be just waiting for ne t week for new episodes. However, this kdrama made me go and watch the short clips of the upcoming episodes in raw eventhough I don't understand much but by doing so it gave me the patience to wait for next friday eventhough the raw is out.

Btw, if you want to do the same, roughly few hours after broadcast you can see the short clips of the following episodes in raw. At the very least, you just watch a few videos of roughly around 3 mins rather than needing to watch the full fricking episodes in raw haha.

So hooked up and really appreciate this drama for giving life lessons occasionally.

popcorn and coke Mar 31 2018 2:02 pm Again I have been hooked up with another amazing drama but this time its different. At first, I really didnt want to watch it because of Lee Kwang Soo's behavior in Runningman (we all know he is such as fool) but I was reminded at the time when he acted in Hwarang where he was praised for his amazing acting potrayal of the character so I gave it a shot. Never did I expect this is such a heartwarming story of young people who are learning to cope with the world. Because of their work, they grow up and learn alot of things. Also, I didnt expect Jung Yu Mi to be so beautiful and charismatic (Kwang Soo is charismatic as well, they are a charismatic couple). She is an amazing actress as well and I checked out her profile and I didnt know she was the pregnant lady in Train to Busan. Haha. What a coincidence, maybe I was comfortable watching her in this drama because I have already seen her act in a movie.

Another thing I like about this drama is because of the slow burn love story between Jung Oh and Sang Su. We all know they will end up together but I just love watching how they grow up as a person and fall in love with each other like a typical normal person (not too overly dramatized and not complicated.) Yep, the couple is not too complicated for me.

At first I was frustated with Kwang Soo's character Sang Su but now that his character development is almost at peak, I can say I'am loving this drama because of him and Bae Sung Woo (his mentor). They are an amazing team.

I cant help but hate Shin Dong Wook's character because he is low-key wanting Jung Oh as well. I know his character is a good person but I'm with Team Sang Su.

Spoiler do not read: (close your eyes and scroll down) . . . . I like how Sang Su doesnt complicate his feelings for Jung Oh and just asks her out of the blue to date. What's difficult for me is that its obvious she likes him as well but maybe she likes Dong Wook's character also. It is so confusing when she said Sang Su was cute but then she blatantly say to him (Sang Su) that she likes Myung Ho when he (Sang Su) asked...

The chemistry between Yeom Sang-Soo and Oh Yang-Chon so good and refreshing. The way Kwang Soo express after stabbing in his face in the last scene of episode 6 was commendable.

It seems they are like indeed real police officers, and the relationship between the four are just too fun to watch. The romance between jung o(jung yumi) and sang soo(lee kwang soo) albeit subtle but you can feel how mutual their feeling are. The bromance also good and lovely, and the complicated marriage life of jang mi x yang chon really add the color of the story. In another hand, Sung Dong IL, my most favorite ajjussi, is likeable like always. His acting and charisma were amazing! Personally I think, this is probably the second best piece of NHK, the first would IOIL ?

The acting from all the casts were daebakk!! Lee Kwang Soo came as a surprise as I wasn't really optimistic about him before, but he really like..super good! But no... I couldn't help myself and thought I would just take a peek at the 1st ep and get a feel for the drama and leave it. Oh no well that didn't go according to plan and it was too late when only 30 seconds in it was enough of a hook to reel me in and now I'm fretting for episodes 3 & 4. Everything about this drama is on point for me- writing; cast and story and I have no complaints at all. Simply put I absolutely LOVE it. After watching 'Padam Padam' a few years ago and 'Dear My Friends' No Hee Kyung has always been my #1 K scriptwriter and 'Live' is testament to her beautiful storytelling as its unique, original and such a sheer joy to watch. Another tvN K Drama gem. Thank you ❤️

Annette Perry Dec 31 2017 2:00 am Cannot wait to watch Shin Dong Wook is my one of my favorite actors . Love him in Cloud Stairs , Soulmate and Stars Falling the Sky and in Lookout. So glad his illness is in remission. Was so worried he would not be able to act in dramas anymore because of his severe illness. Glad his is doing better , know he is not 100 percent better for there is no cure for CRPS, however just to know he is feeling better is great. Any dramas he is in i love anyway ! Glad you are taking it slow meaning not doing stunts and any running in scenes and such please do not push yourself to much but glad you are back . We fans of yours support you always .Love ya!
