Jillibean Oct 07 2022 5:20 pm One of the very best Korean dramas ever made. Unforgettable. And I say this as someone who has watched 800 of them. I think it's far superior to the Japanese series. The characters are so much more likeable and the Chef is far better looking.

Joe Feb 29 2016 1:02 pm I hope there will be season 2. While watching every episode I felt that I'm also seating inside the restaurant eating good food, listening to different stories of life. The writers and the cast really did a great job. Ddoongnyeo (Park Jun-Myun) is my favorite, she loves to eat and I enjoyed her punch lines and it made me laugh!

fuwafuwa Jan 25 2016 11:08 pm I don't get why people don't like this kind of drama... This drama, since it's based on japanese manga, it's more slow-paced and relaxing. There are lots of japanese anime or manga with these kind of relaxing slow-paced theme. Cooking show can't always be fast-paced adrenaline pumping like all the cooking movies we've always watched anyway. Other people might prefer all those dramatic romantic kissing scene that will be repeated 3 times over different angles to make it more dramatic so they might not be able to appreciate this drama, but I think this is one of the best.

I'm only sorry i can't eat there too! I really hope SBS does a season two, cause this show really deserves it. its not often i feel sad when a show finishes, but this one will be really missed. The subtitles do an excellent job of communication to English speakers. The music is warm and beautiful. The plot lines are always interesting and not predictable. I have fallen in love with all the actors. And I love the food! Please let there be another season.
