Ash Mar 09 2023 5:13 pm I rarely like younger Korean actresses, but I just fell in love with Kwon Nara. I first met her in Suspicious Partner, and slowly she grew on me as Prosecutor Cha Yoo-Jung. I’m on to the next drama in her portfolio, My Mister. I’ve seen clips here and there, and I’m just sure she’s going to nail it again.

Joie Mar 01 2023 9:13 pm I never thought that Kwon Nara was That Gooood. With her role in Itaewon Class she was finally able to shed her idol persona. She did Oh Soo Ah’s character justice. Couldn’t imagine another actress playing that role. I’m beyond happy she finally can live her life and ofc (coughs) will soon have ‘this thing’ with her chef.

Claudia Feb 15 2023 10:08 pm It really pains me every time I rewatch Bulgasal Ep5 where she frantically tried to swim in the lake thinking her sister was in the boat, almost drowning herself. Like girl, you were almost murdered and buried in the well just a while ago, you have to take care of yourself first, seriously. And she made me burst into tears when she said she doesn’t care what happens to her as long as her sister is safe. Cry, why is she so selfless? Nara really nailed it as Min Sang-un

Late to the Party Jan 29 2023 9:22 pm Ms. Queen of Pretty Crying. I thought she already cried a whole lot in My Mister and in Doctor Prisoner, but she just outdid herself in Bulgasal. Like she cried in every episode, lmao. But her emotions are so so good and her eyes are so soulful. I get teary eyed every time she does, and I cry buckets whenever she does, I get angry whenever she does. She really took me on an emotional roller coaster ride. I’m so anticipating what her next project will be. Hopefully she would do another morally gray character, better a villain of sorts.

It’s normal for actors and actresses to improve as their careers develop, for sure, but Nara managed to improve A LOT in such a short time. Min Sangwoon is a very deep and complex character with multiple layers. I think it really showed Nara’s potential as an actress! I’m very glad to see how she doesn’t stick to one type of role, but manage to diversify her choices. I’m so proud of her and I hope she gets even more attention, that she deserves. She should do a psycho irredeemable villain role next.

johnopen Oct 14 2022 9:44 pm My most favorite character she has played has been in Itaewon Class as Oh Soo Ah. The most heroic character out of all of them and played her cards right.

The moment I watched the first episode, I got a really bittersweet feeling already... The filter made everything so ordinary and happy, and I immediately got a second lead feel from Soo Ah... I totally understood her standpoint of taking care of herself first as she was an orphan. But she was far from being just selfish. She was realistic. Well yes, she is selfish, but who isn't? Saeroyi was the most selfish one telling her to wait for him until he brings Jangga down so she could be free, and the biggest asshole on all of south korea for stringing her along.

Moreover, her bringing Jangga down with a big blow was the most elegant fight I've seen anyone put out. She was wise. She knew when to stand down and she knew how and when to strike. She endured working for Chairman Jang all those years, because she was playing the long game, she wasn't reckless like the other characters. A lot of people forgot that Soo Ah literally pulled Saeroyi from the brink of murder, yet still badmouth her. I loved that she did it for Mr. Park and Mr Park only. She repaid him in her own way. Saeroyi did not deserve her at all.

Her new resto and Park Bo Gum in the end was just icing on the cake. It just goes to show that life will be kind to those whose hearts are strong and true. Oh Soo Ah I hope you are living happily now. Kwon Nara really breathed life into her. She deserved all the best actress awards there are.

As Min Sang-un in Bulgasal, you can still see that childlike quality and natural charm - but also the maturity and acting skills she's gained since. She has this innate ability to portray innocence, naivety and sincerity. Kwon Na-ra's not just a good actress "for an idol". She's a talented star whose eyes often express complex emotions that really pull you into her performance. You want happy yet wistful? Easy. Hopeful & wary? Np. Scared but determined? Sure. Confused but trusting? Ok! I've always liked her esp in My Mister, but I didn't realize how much of a fan I was until Bulgasal. I can't rave enough about her performance as Min Sang-un/Bulgasal/Kim Hwa Yeon. The depth of emotions she portrayed was so complex and nuanced, it was an acting master class.

alain dorval Oct 12 2020 5:05 pm Stunningly beautiful..After seeing her in `` Iteowon Class '' I was looking for another series she was in and I found `` My Mister '' which is the best TV series I have seen in my life..No only she's a mind-blowing beauty, but she's a very talented actress who is able to play a 31 year old woman in 'My Mister' and two years later play an 18 year old girl in ' Iteowon Class '' and be perfectly believable in both roles, I hope we will see her very often.

However, it was quite disappointing how she wasn’t progressing at all with Park Sae-Ro-Yi and whatever relationship they never continued. But as Jo Yi-Seo, tried to help him and things develop as she became the key of success to their company because he betted her life for him. It became apparent that I want her better to end up with saeroyi.

damnnn Apr 26 2020 8:54 am seriously shes good her acting is top notch and btw things were advancing in iatewon class i thought she and saeroyi would get to gether but it ended with the side teen getting him. I really hated dat ending i mean its true she hestitated but wudnt u do the same if u were her u study so much not to waste ur life so she struggled so much between saeroyi and jang co. It was really heartless of the producer to set soo ah up with a random kid and throw saeroyi over to the side withch? anyway i hope dat sereies starring her as the main come im looking firward to them and im gonna start supicious partner and doctor prosoner cause of her apearance ? seroously never fell in luv with actong this much not even kim so hyun shes good but i didnt feel so good abt the acting. The plot here loterally messes with her heart i feel bad for her Itaewon class cud have done better even my freinds who watched IC have the same reaction. well whatever i just wanna see a deep luv story of Na Ra?
