Bong-Hee (Nam Ji-Hyun) is a judicial apprentice at the Judicial Research and Training Institute. One day, on the subway, she mistakes Ji-Wook (Ji Chang-Wook) for a molester. Ji-Wook is a prosecutor and denies being a molester, but Bong-Hee doesn't believe him. Later, she catches her boyfriend Hee-Joon (Chansung) in a hotel lobby with another woman. Her boyfriend is also a judicial apprentice at the same institute. Bong-Hee is hurt by her boyfriend's apparent infidelity and tells him that she will sleep with the next man she bumps into.

Bong-Hee indeeds propositions the next man she bumps into. When she looks at the man, Bong-Hee realizes the man is the same man she saw on the subway ... Ji-Wook. They decide to have drinks and Bong-Hee later passes out. When she wakes up, Bong-Hee finds herself at Ji-Wook's place.

3 months later, Bong-Hee is assigned to work in Ji-Wook’s office. She works hard there. During this time, she runs into Hee-Joon and tells him to take his things from her apartment. Later that night, Bong-Hee goes to a nearby convenience store and when she returns to her apartment, she finds Hee-Joon stabbed to death. Bong-Hee is arrested for his murder and Ji-Wook becomes the prosecutor in her murder case. Even through heavy pressure from Hee-Joon's father (who is the chief of the district prosecutor's office), Ji-Wook finds evidences to proves Bong-Hee's innocence and sets her free. Due to this incident, Ji-Wook quits his job as a prosecutor and becomes a lawyer. Bong-Hee attempts to find the person who murdered her ex-boyfriend.

2 years later, Bong-Hee and Ji-Wook meet again, but on opposing sides. Bong-Hee is representing the plaintiff and Ji-Wook is representing the defendant in a court case.

Bai Laohu Jan 15 2023 5:31 am I watched this show because of Ji Chang Wook. But was pleasantly surprised by Dong Ha's brilliant acting. He has such great potential. I hope he gets lead roles in future which showcase his brilliance in acting these complex characters. The Drama on the whole is pleasant to watch but quite dragging. It doesn't need 20 episodes. Should cut out a lot of the romance scenes as they were rather boring. Wardrobe for the women was disappointing. How can lawyers and prosecutors wear shorts to Work? And they were such short shorts! Unrealistic. Female lead role was just so so. Probably just the character she has to play - which doesn't warm you up to her. All in all Dong Ha carried the show. JCW was the drool factor and all supporting actors played their parts well. The storyline lacks impact because they dragged it out too much.

Dia Feb 24 2022 9:07 am I recently happen to watch it.It's a very nice drama.The chemistry between JCW and NJH is electrifying.No wonder this pair is a hit even in the fifth year.The drama is also very successful and many viewers loving this drama.Nam jihyun is damn cute and a versatile actress.I loved her acting in this drama,no wonder she won the best actress award.Liking the drama or not is individual's taste and opinions differ.I loved and enjoyed the drama.

instead of putting in random cases (which was great btw,) they shouldve just focused on the main storyline. it felt like everythign was delayed and messy towards the end because they put a lot of shit in the beginning and forgot to inject in the happy parts.

as i said, i was gonna skip to the end but then there was an unexpected

friendship between bong hui and that girl she keeps fighting -forgot her name - which i liked. i also liked the idea of bong hui leaving the place for a bit and staying somewhere else, i just wished they did that earlier because it just feels so late in the series to have relationship conflicts...they just definitely didnt plan this drama out well

i like that theres a kid existing now, its funny to see how ji uk attempts to handle it. making him a witness makes him necessary to the storyline, and also allows funny scenes.

to reiterate, the plot in 17 -20 is necessary, it just shouldve been done earlier. they didnt need to drag it out to 20 episodes, there were definitely a number of unnecessary sequences and scenes that couldve been cut and replaced with more romance scenes and more plot focused scenes, and by plot focused i mean progression.

zed Feb 16 2022 11:14 pm it was going well at first even though i didnt rly like the amount of time jumps, but then as it got to like episode 15/16 i realized the characters have literally never been happy for more than a second. its so exhausting. like theyd make a happy comment once, turn around and have a murder nightmare flashback that ruins their mood for several days. like its fine to have up and downs, but this kdrama is just all downs as it got further into the story which is sad because it seemed like it has so much potential, because the chemistry between (spoiler) the main five people in ji uk's office is amazing. love mr bang.

anyway im either dropping this or skipping to the end because its just getting tiring, im no longer intrigued - i just wanna get this over with. we already figured out the murderer, we figured out they like each other, we figured out everything but nothing is coming to a close so its clearly just being dragged out.

Imagine the female lead character with her hair flying all over the place, and need to go to court...whistling that tune to someone who was a defendant in a criminal case, etc etc the whole thing doesn't gel. Screaming, sour faces ,lack of chemistry between the 2 leads. No wonder it is NR rated sometimes.

I just love his looks, being sexy and very charismatic, one of my favs. I really would like to see so much more of his acting! Nam Ji Hyun the lead actress, great acting, top as well. Acting of all the characters just perfect. Nice OST too and a great storyline, court cases, funny, romantic. Great chemistry between the leads! If on your list to watch, i highly recommend this series, you will not regret it.

anthea Sep 04 2021 6:30 pm first of all this drama is nice and i do like it but it's just not that good like everyone said.. and i have questions at some points too. who is bong-hui's other father beside eun man-su ? she did mention about having two dads but they never talked about the other one ? or they did but i was not paying attention then ? and why making bong-hui's father a suspect would cover up jang chief prosecutor's fault ? i don't even understand what the relationship between bong-hui's father and ji-uk's father was that he risked his life to save ji-uk's family. there wasn't any scene that ji-uk's father helped bong-hui's father or something kind of it. and i was a little disappointed about the character development. when they first met bong-hui was such a strong and sassy lady, not only did she shout at ji-uk but she even blocked his way out with a satisfied look on her face. (and why ji-uk would take a train while he has his own car hahahaaa). but after ji-uk released her she became so weak and feeble the entire series. the same for cha yu-jeong, she was shameless to talk about herself and what she was gonna do after hurting both our boys. i thought she was some kind of resilient person but she got weaker too. about ji-uk, before realizing his feelings for bong-hui, sometimes he's soft and dear to bong-hui and some other time he acts so cold. anyway this is still a quite good series that you can watch to entertain during quarantine/lockdown.. and if you just fell in love with our ji chang-wook i strongly recommend series 'healer' for a harder but worthier fell for him ^^

I think JCW has nailed the romantic scene, while NJH seems still a bit awkward with the romantic scene, and JCW really lead the scene and help her a lot. They both can show a really good chemistry, and in reality they look really match too ,

The lead actress was brilliant. Much better than leads in K2 and healer. Just the series dragged towards the end and then. Picked up once " baddy" back on scene. His acting was very convincing. I specifically found the romance was what dragged, and was trying to be too American. I started watching K dramas to get away from American stuff. So I didn't like having to skip through an uncomfortable passionate scene. I also read later that the actress didn't know it was coming and she found the bed scene difficult. I agree with her. It was in my opinion a very unfair thing to do to a young talented actress. Please don't repeat. Other than that, I really enjoyed the court scene. That imitation of American I approved. And I think was done better by you.

JCW is really a flexible actor, actually they are all great actors, Dong Ha, the villain did a great acting too!

A TOP storyline, i did not even get bored for 1 second. Totally different from what i have so far. I enjoyed it very much. I can say that it is one of my favourites. The 2 leads just WOW! Top performance and wow what a chemistry. I loved Nam Ji Hyun, so sweet and pretty. The first time i watched the actor Ji Chang Wook and i can say he became definitely one of my favourites. Goodlooking, handsome, charismatic with his lovely smile but also what a powerful actor. I just adore him. I hope i can find more of him on Netflix. I highly recommend to watch this series which is just top class. I will surely watch this series a second time!

Hannam Apr 24 2021 9:52 am This was unnecessarily prolonged from episodes 17-20. The conflicts have ended by ep 16-17. But they just had to inject 3 more episodes that are way too boring with no significant event that happened. The series is good though, except, again for the added later episodes.

Sella Apr 06 2021 5:18 am One of my all time favourite Kdrama and certainly Ji Chang Wook’s best work. Love Mr Bang, saw him in a few things and wonder why Ji tae Joon is not more famous. Great chemistry. Did anyone else pick up in episode 8 at 14.43 you can clearly see a love bite on Bong Hui’s neck. Made me laugh as Korean drama is so straight never allowing any sexy scenes. Maybe they all go on bts!! But I really love this though it’s getting old now. Up there with CLOY Something in the Rain. It’s Okay not to be Okay, Legend if the Sea, Mr Sunshine, Private !ives, Sky Castle - these were all brilliant shows.

Sometimes in the name of love, we begin to become a monster we aren't aware of. It may not be criminally serious but unintentionally we hurt our loved ones because of our so called love. We have so much love within us that we can be blinded to see what's good for the other person. The moral of the story hit me hard and Nam Ji Hyun, I love you so much. You are my favorite actress. I support you always and so grateful for your existence.

Too soft, too slow, too needy and gullible for a lawyer. Kinda irritating. She aways boast her taekwondo skills but she was not good in her fighting scenes. Hyun soo was a great actor. He's the type of character that you will really hate (especially when he smirk) and be scared of since he's a serial killer.

The chemistry between the couple is high ! Loved the details, how cute was bong bong, how cute is eun hyeok, how wook gets angry, how the main lead is pretty though messy, and how the relations between the characters develop and the ceo and their moms, seriously everyone was adorable ! Finally, I would say that dong ho’s acting was amazing, he made me cry several times! Goodbye, I enjoyed watching this !

JCW and NJW just nailed it. Look forward to another project with them together in another genre. They look good together like a pea in a pod. NJW is hands down a very good actress considering her young age.

Im also in awe with Nam Ji Hyuns talent. it amazed how she was able to pull off a mature role at such a young age of 22. Kudos to Nam Ji Hyun. Stay blessed my dear. We love you.

wonderrose Jun 03 2020 6:03 am i really liked the ending. The ending was different from any kdrama ive seen. In most kdramas you only get 5 minutes at the end which shows that they 'lived happily ever after', and we dont get to see them happy after going through all that.

BUt with this kdrama we get to see how their life continued, and that something that really brought joy and was really wholesome to watch.

I've seen their other series and i can say that ji chang wook and nam ji hyun has the best chemistry. Hoping that they will do another drama together. Perhaps season 2 of suspicious partner. Life as a married couple. Fingers crossed.

Definetly one of my top favorite dramas of all time.

I believed that her experience working with the good and hard wirking actor, Ji chang wook helped her a lot, helped her a lot to ifurther mprove her craft. after that project, ive seen she has become more professional.

I wish both Nam ji hyun and Ji chang wook all the best in their future projects.

ayazu Mar 18 2020 5:17 am I watch every episode carefully, trying to get the excitement especially for the lead couple but I couldn't really find it. The romance is so-so, not touching. I watched it because of Ji Chang Wook, but I couldn't get to really like his character (No Ji Wook) anyway. I love his character in Healer, but not really in this drama.

And the female lead character Eun Bong Hee, I was so annoyed with her hairstyle until episode 34 when it changed, and she finally looks pretty.

No matter ratings or scores, for some reason I couldn't like it. Watched because of Ji Chang Wook, even though he had better roles on his shoulders. Picture wasnt very good for 2017, especially comparing to something like "While You Were Sleeping". Main actress wasnt one of favorites either. Plot, fun, few characters and villain was the ones that hooked me up. Id say 6/10.

I know it was a while ago but I keep coming back to it because they spark off each other and act brilliantly together, and their chemistry is amazing. The support roles are great too, especially Choi tae Joon who could do a lead role one day. Well done team on clever casting and an exciting and romantic plot. I like the way it keeps you guessing to the end and is quite a cliff hanger.

I hope to see these two paired again with an equally good plot. Wook was a let down in his first role back from military, Melting me softly. He made a rash choice there and not a good partnership and a stupid plot.

Thanks for Suspicious Partner, we all await another similar with the same leads.

I don't know much about the main leads yet until I watched this kdrama I become a fan of them already! I love them both! I wish them to end up together in real life. I like Nam Ji-hyun for her acting, she's simple and funny, and yet she still manage to look so pretty. Ji Chang-Wook is a hunk! He seems so gentleman. He's acting is superb that he's able to act cool while super in love with Bong Hee. I wish them more kdramas together, more like action drama or rom-com again. Love it!

I was so looking forward to seeing one of my favourite actors Ji Chang-Wook but ended disliking her acting so much that I couldn't keep continuing to watch this. The storyline was good and it could have been a really enjoyable drama. I have never stopped watching one of JCW's dramas before. Such a shame!

heul Dec 11 2018 3:52 am I watched this until finish and I tried (note:tried) to love this series like majority of the people who watched this but I just couldn't. I skipped so many parts and I was quite disappointed because I had high hope in this.

Somehow somewhere along the way in what episode I didn't remember, the lead actress just became dull and tired (she is pretty and funny in this series yes) and suddenly her glows just vanished, unlike the first few episodes that I watched it. It's like something plucked her soul out of her body and she just had to finish filming and that's it. Am I the only one who thought her acting was different at the few last episodes of the drama? Like she just endured the scenes without really absorbing her character until the end? She is an exceptional actress ugh I was so sad T.T.

I ended up enduring it because the plot is interesting but I was not looking forward to the romantic scenes between the two lead albeit the hot kissing scenes and the undeniable chemistry between them. I just couldn't picture them as that OTP like everyone else.

P/s: I'm not hating on Nam Ji Hyun or anything but she really is better in other dramas than this. I puffed a really long sigh when I watched her acting in this one.

Miss B May 24 2018 5:01 am Excellent summer rom-com. Pitch-perfect cast and soundtrack with high rewatch value. The lead pair has scintillating chemistry which is the main selling point of Suspicious Partner. Their skills are on par and match each other point-for-point through the smoothly flowing moods created across the narrative. The two make a natural, believable couple and I wouldn't be surprised in the least if all that attraction and heat translates into reality as well.

They are well-supported by a talented bunch, notably the villain, and a fair share of the credit goes to how he was written. CEO Byun was a hoot! Chief Bang stole a goodish share of the limelight with his flawless comic timing and droll looks. This is a drama where just about everyone knows how to do their job.

The writing could've pulled up a few stakes and the history-with-dads was a cliche that could've been avoided, but Nam Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook are more than capable of selling such makjang with their enormous talent, and they did.

A very memorable series all in all and I shall be hoping for another JCW-NJH collaboration in the future. I want to see how they depict a more intense, angsty vibe, so a melodrama a la 'Secret Love' would be great.

It must be a spell or something and this never happened to me in over a decade of drama watching. It may not be a perfect drama with tight enough writing but it sure is one of those that gets you attached to it. The main leads were really believable as a pairing even though the writing was a little disappointing at the middle of the drama but it still has a lot of great quotes to remember.

Character development for the Eun Bong-Hee sucks. Beginning, she was 4 level taekwondo expert with a soft heart for love, but with a real brazen personality. But, later on, gets scared at every little thing, whimpers, cowers, and becomes just another damsel in distress. Sometimes, her beginning character image shows up again, but most times, it's the weak pitiful Eun Bong-Hee. For a show about dealing with the justice system and with a female lead who was supposed to have been made of steel, it's hard to believe that she was able to make the cut after a while. In contrast, the No Ji Wook has been able to develop consistently, which speaks volumes about the drama.

Storyline hard to enjoy when the female lead has to be the one doing stupid things all the time and instead of just fessing up as bad judgment call, it's actually just cause her character needs to be saved... every. single. time. She was clearly just a level 4 taekwondo expert in her head.

That's why the chemistry sucks, ladies and gentlemen. Because the characters suck.

The pairing are not match at all, they should choose older female actress who can portray mature/tomboy character. Because the background of the story are office & laws. This is need an actress who looks rebel and strong character. namJihyun is not bad actress but she is too sweet for this role. She will be more fit with youth/campus drama like Heirs, or Cinderella and 4 knights and else. somthing like Idol drama.This role not for her definitely. She has potential, but should choose a good role. And Ji chang wook, he is very good in all genre, but he is more fantastic in action genre. Still no actor can replaced him for the action field. I still compare them to Ji Chang Wook, he si the best in action.

They look good on BTS but unfortunately the chemistry not appear on the drama. People who said no chemistry on drama bc they dont care ab the BTS. Indeed chemistry on BTS cant count as a chemistry on drama

I ship them so much and it's even better if they are a couple in real life... ^^ Ahh, just date already!! Suspicious Partner is still my most favourite drama even it has already been 6 months since it was last aired. At first, I doubted about this drama since there are 40 episodes and I'm afraid I'm going to get bored of it, but no, it was actually very intense but at the same time, made me cry and laugh my arse off too! Each episode is 30 minutes long and I binge watched every episodes and finished in 2 days! :D I just couldn't take my eyes off and I was excited to dig further after each episodes. So, to everyone that still thinking whether to watch this drama or not, I highly recommend you to! This drama will drive you in a roller coaster full of excitements and thrilling experiences!

She can't act to save her life! She can't emote, show emotions with just her facial expressions or body language. I didn't feel her at all.

The chemistry between the two leads looked forced to me, didn't seem real. The two leads in Healer had far more chemistry than these two.

JCW did his best but he alone could not save the drama for me. I give it 4/10 and that's cos of the male lead who's one of my fave K drama actors. I'm not surprised the ratings weren't too good.

The drama is not perfect but the chemistry of the whole cast starting with the main couple until the lawyers' office with their messy meetings is the best. Even hyu soo made me cry with his story. The story got draggy a littke but some of the quotes from the drama are so touching. I hope all those crazies shipping JCW with the female leads from his past dramas would lay off hating on this drama and saying the lead couple doesn't have chemistry when they probably had some of the best kisses I've seen. It's pathetic and childish.

I love Ji Chang Wook and he is all cute and a good actor but I still thing the guy playing Jung Hyun Soo's character Dong Ha has acted far better than Nam Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook both.

He was a good guy who couldn't do anything when the girl he liked got sexually abused. He couldn't get the culprits in jail and they walked free so he took revenge but of course he has gone completely ruthless now but if you'll see he had no option but then again...

This is unlikely of Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun's other works. I've watched healer, k2 and Shopping King Louie and those dramas are gold. But this one, it's really meh. No chemistry between the two main leads and the story line is boring. The only refreshing person for me in this drama are the sub leads. I will definitely NOT recommend this drama, especially after watching fight for my way and the main cast's other works.

The basic plot is bad: the core premise that the Chief Prosecutor of a Seoul District Court is a multiple murderer is total non-sense. Each episode is erratic and repetitive. Dialogues are coarse and simplistic. Every one of the main characters is poorly written-up and acted. Then the director appears unable to bring out the best out of his actors and maintain character consistency across 40 episodes of 30 minutes Nam Jin-Hyun's lead character of Eun Bong-Hee is tiresome and inconsistently developed from episode to episode. Why did NJH accept this role and this drama?

I enjoyed watching SP because of her and until now I can't move on to her awesomeness and bubbly personality on or off cam. I hope that he comes back with another action drama and hopefully the main actress isn't Yoona cuz that girl isn't made for acting.

jaded Aug 17 2017 12:49 am Came for JCW, stayed for Dong Ha (aka Hyunsoo). His character is just so multi layered, so intriguing and without his convincing act, I wouldn't have liked his character. I'm so looking out for this guy next time. The rest of the character are just... I don't know, for lack of better word, uninteresting. But the actors performance ranges from decent to excellent. It's just the way they are written, I guess?

Nam Ji Hyun is the one who made me interested to continue to watch after the first episode. I just hate the way that the directors made her style look so old. I don't know that a lawyer can actually walk through a suspect room easily, bring a possible evidence and they even are not his lawyer anymore. Is it because they are friends with the prosecutor?

He's a suspect that has big possibility to run away but his room has no proper guard (in the context that he can easily beat them up).

ali Jul 19 2017 5:46 pm first week without the suspicious partner and i'm still here lurking but couldn't help it so here i am with my thoughts. i am feeling what everybody calls a mild depression after this drama ended. LOL! it would have been better if JCW and NJH just remained friendly with each other but the way they acted during the wrap up party made me more curious about them and couldn't move on. they really are just human beings who can't hide what they feel. i understand. i'm just hoping for the best for both of them especially JCW after 2 years of military enlistment. i saw some twitter fan posts about him writing "please wait for me" during his 24 miracle fan signing. it breaks my heart. ...anyways, about the drama, i agree with some posts here that the story line isn't the best but the main leads' chemistry pulled it off and made it more popular than the other dramas with higher ratings. this drama is like the experimental stage for both leads that put them to a different level as actors. JCW's appearances in the variety shows after the drama ended were all packed and with great turn out. while nJH's name became one of the top most searched on the internet. i'd love it if they would really end up together someday. i wish for both esp. JCW to be happy. this guy worked all his life and now that he's found an inspiration he has to be away for enlistment. :( May God bless them with more wonderful projects in the future!

She was gorgeous with that hair and looking like a typical 21-year-old wearing that pink shirt and very little makeup. Although the drama and love story wasn’t the best, the experience and recognition she gained will serve as the perfect stepping stone towards future projects that are much better. Whether you like her or not, there’s no denying that her popularity grew because of this drama. And, in the end that’s all that really matters.

I liked the overall storyline and I like all the actors. They played their parts pretty well,!except for when the two main leads tried too hard to be cute and quirky, it didn't fit well and got pretty annoying. Dong Ha did a fenominal job with his character as Jung Hyun Soo! His performance is what kept me hooked! I was shocked he actually ended up killing that cop, I thought he had him hidden, barely alive in some basement. I was more shocked to find out that that cop turned out to be one of the rapists. That actor was so handsome, I hope to see him play a better character in the future. I found myself more curious about the second lead couple's relationship through out the show, so I was disappointed that I didn't get to see more of them. Choi Tae Joon is so handsome! Nara is so Gorgeous! I can't wait to see them in more projects. One thing I would have changed in the storyline is, who Hyun Soo stabbed. I didn't care about officer Bang as much. I wasn't that invested in his character so I didn't feel the suspense of whether he woke up or not. He didn't have a family so I didn't see much of a loss if he died. The two leading were so self centered that they made every problem about themselves, it seems they'd compete over who had the saddest story. But it would have been better if Lawyer Ji Eun Hyuk was stabbed instead. The storyline needed that so some characters could grow. I was more invested in him because he was trying to mend his broken relationship with his longtime friend Prosecutor/Lawyer Noh who he hurt. We learn that he had feelings for Prosecutor Cha before she dated Prosecutor Noh and that they didn't even cheat, although they intended to. Which is why I think Prosecutor Noh was so self centered, how could he not know his best friends feelings for their mutual friend? How could he not find understanding in that situation? They had their reasons for being in that situation, not that it was right. But he just looked like a giant baby in the end. He had every right to be upset with them, but he held that grudge for too long. If Lawyer Ji was stabbed intstead, then Prosecutor Cha would have to confront her feelings for him and Prosecutor/Lawyer Noh would have to come into terms of his feelings as well. But whatever, they lived happily ever after in dramaland.

Can't deny the explosive chemistry between the two leads, feels almost real and that doesn't happen in kdramaland two often. Definitely will marathon the drama again in the near future.

I will be no longer checking Instagram and Youtube just to see the BTS (mostly the interactions between Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun) hehe. I'm definitely in a major withdrawal syndrome but they said the ending is always the start of a new begining (JiJi couple cough cough), isn't it?

However, best of luck to all the casts and the crews. For JCW, we all will be waiting for you in 2 years. For NJH, good luck for the upcoming projects, stay bubbly and shine like a star and don't forget to visit JCW with fried chickens and pizza. Hehe. Love always SP ❤

Hina Jul 14 2017 2:24 pm Interesting and enjoyable k-drama! I agree with others, Nam Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook together really makes the story wonderful. They suit each other well (unlike Yoona and JCW in K2...cough cough) and they are good actors. Dong Ha is an amazing actor as the villain, just WOW! Some might say that this drama kind of drags on, but I think the story is finely paced and develops well. I don't think any episode was boring, and I was excited every time a new episode came out. I suggest giving the drama a shot! The romantic-comedy aspect of the k-drama is beautiful!

If you are up for story then it may keep you glued to the screen or may not. Cause this drama has mixed viewers. The ending was amazing with every character giving you space for open analysis. These are like real life characters. Nobody is perfect, nobody is strong all the time, sometimes love loses infront of circumstances but in the end find their way. The amazing chemistry between NJH and JCW is really a huge factor why this drama has been loved they did more than justice. No other couple can really make me fall for them like jibong.

So if you are here for the reviews ignore the hate comment and go and see it for yourself.

Thus drama gifted me my new favourite korean actress. Nam ji hyun. What an incredibke showcase of emotions she can convey. The ending-she caught me off guard. I cried only when she cried. She deserves super appreciation!

There are many scenes and episodes that i love for this drama. The dialogues are good and i like every single cast member. I need not skip any scenes. Most of all, what a phenomenal chemistry between ji chang wook and nam ji hyun!

For ratings to go from 6% to almost 10% says a lot. It is competing against ruler master of the mask. So i think it really performed well for a rom com. Thank you SP crew for bringing us such a beautiful story!

Hope that Suspicious Partner would have a Part 2 that would give focus to their families. It would be fun to see what would the interaction/s between Bong Hee and her future mother-in-law and Ji Wook to Bong Hee's mom.

Though for sure they will be handling and solving a lot of cases, I would wish if there would ever be a Part 2 that they could spend more time as a loving couple.

They could also elaborate on the lives of the other characters, too.

Thanks Ji Wook and Bong Hee for working hard in this drama, you're such a beautiful couple. To the rest of the casts and the people behind this drama, you did a very good job, too.

Anyone else out there also wondering what the heck happened between Prosecuter Cha and Lawyer Ji? They didn't really go into details what happened or how they got together that night except that "nothing happened between them" ???? Like I need more than that... explain please!!! I need the loose ends to make sense.

Also, in the first episode Ji Wook said Bong Hee looked familiar to him as he had met her before.. Initially, I thought Ji Wook and Bong Hee were an acquaintance back then.. but it seems like the scene was totally being forgotten. I think it will be more interesting to elaborate the scene bcs there are several scenes that are unnecessary and I'm sorry to say this but useless. Anyway, I'm still loving the drama.

No investigation. One guy died of a health condition and his wife was charged with murder because she thought her son had killed him and confessed ? Her lawyer had to request an autopsy, HER LAWYER. Not the police or the prosecutor. Lawyers do stakeouts as if they are police detectives. ANYWAY, aside from this peculiarities I have enjoyed the drama. Great acting by main leads and killer.

Just wondering what happened to the "Harry Potter" kid...so cute.

I'll admit - the first few episodes were interesting, the story line and how the two main leads first crossed paths. Afterwards it became your average everyday romamce drama. The boy does everything for the unfortunate girl, throw in some running gags (that weren't funny at all), have the girl watch the guy sleep and vice-versa in every, I kid you not - Literally every episode. Nothing against the actors/actresses as they are phenomenal in other works but this story/drama went downhill. Drama would have been fine and I would've continued it if it were about 16 episodes and if they didn't put in a CSI episode towards the middle episodes which had nothing to do with the main plot, like what?

But here though main focus was on the lead ie his past,his sufferings, his pain, his sleepless nights somehow the character eun bong hee captured interest and thats probably becuase of NJH who potrayed it really amazingly. SP had realy weak writting though it has amazing plotline. The first was really amazing while the latter half was saved by the main characters and their romance which was really a glue to me. I was a JCW fan but now i am just looking at NJH and getting amazed how that little girl has turned into such a pretty beautiful amazing caring woman.

SailingShip Jul 11 2017 9:17 pm Actually, I understand why they criticize Nam Nam Ji-Hyun's acting (emphasis on the "acting") but it is not entirely her fault either. I do believe it is more about the way the script and her character were conceived which lead to her interpretation choices. Nowadays, the new kdrama's scripts trends are more focused on the leading male (everything revolves around him, it is about his past, his traumas, his career, his family, his love life, his anxieties, his expectations, his future...) so we can say that her role as Eun Bong-Hee was more of a leading-supporting actress drew to complement or in this case to disturb the tranquillity of "an obsessive with perfection" male-lead (admit it people, No Ji-Wook really has an obsessive–compulsive personality disorder!!!). That said, the main characters balance each other well, but the writing of the plot was not 100% solid. There is no need to criticize her appearance but I must admit that it was not a good artistic choice to make her look older, her bubbly self is enough; and at the end the make-up might only ruin her baby face-skin. For the acting, she is still young and she is still challenging herself. She juggles her career and her academic education well and honestly, she did a good job in Shopping King Louie which gave her first taste as a leading actress. She is making her way into adulthood, she is learning and she is in no hurry, plus, she said it herself: after her first leading-role in Shopping King Louie she was advised to pursue fame but she said she was not in a hurry because the most important thing is to enjoy what she loves (quoting an interview with Digital Chosun Inc). Her way of thinking says a lot about her mature personality and her work ethics that she really stuns me and I am only full of praise for her. There is always room for improvement and I am glad that she likes her job. Ji Chang-Wook is an excellent partner for her. They fit very well and they have a sense of teamwork: she really makes him stand better but at the same time she catches up quickly and does not stay behind. That proves she is a versatile rising actress who is widening her acting skills. She is transitioning from being a child-actor direct into adult roles. Perhaps, she should take a break after the drama and make a comeback with another genre, maybe in a melodrama, an action movie (like “The Villainess”: she can be badass and she looks good in black) or a detective movie or drama (something like “Signal” or “Secret Forest”). The main cast have chemistry, no one can deny it: if you do not like them, thus, do not watch them. If you like one actor more than the other and if you are a real fan you should also respect their choices; it is very simple. I mean they rely on their co-stars to make the drama work (the production itself), they trust each other, they study the script together and they make the decisions with the director and the staff. They are both shy and reserved persons that it takes time to open up, but first and foremost, they are also human beings. Please, do not be jealous about other co-stars because each couple has its own colours. The hype about JiBong's ship is real as it was the same for the others too during Healer and The K2 time. Actors are actors and what is private should stay private, staying friends or dating is their decision. I do believe in fate and maybe one day they might end up working together again. In the last couple of episodes Nam Ji-Hyun’s act may have seemed as a little bit off/cold/over-act but we must try to understand their creative path (and the exhaustion): 1) The breakup, the psychological and the emotional roller-coaster they have put the couple in called for a predictable estrangement and a coldness (like seriously, we are bombarded with all the revelations that it hurts so much). 2) Chasing after the killer from the hospital that almost killed everyone out of revenge, who may or may not have amnesia and who is the only one who can bring peace to the leads is a huge hurdle to overcome (but seriously, I am still thinking that they should have focused on his background history a lot more earlier and should have given him much more mystery and thriller action. Dong Ha is a real scene-stealer!!!). 3) The main obstacle remains the rom-com cliché of father 1 kills father 2 which only means the children’s lives end up being messed up, then, years later, they fell in love and after all the crazy turmoil (because of psychos: a sly killer incriminating lead-lady and later with amnesia and also sentimental, and the General Prosecutor's lead-infant brainwashing scheme) they must breakup in order to grow up in their relationship. Everything does only stretch what we are all waiting for, hearing those magic words: "I love you". The characters are coming full-circle: a not-so-perfect after all prosecutor who believed in an ill-fated love ended up falling for a badass lawyer in the making that is not your typical damsel in distress. This drama is about innocent people falsely-accused being cleared of all mischarges; it is also about youth, pain, loss, friendship, family, love, passion and happiness with a touch of thriller and mystery. By the end of the drama, everyone looks so exhausted that you just want them to have a well-deserved rewarding trip to a beach. Waiting the last 2 episodes. Thank you SBS for this drama, for the actors, the OST and the behind-the-scenes cuts.

In additon, I can't deny the fact that the chemistry between the leads (Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun) is so strong and exploding. I had fun watching this series even their making film videos. Lots of JCW-NJH moments. They definetly deserving of the Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Kiss and Best Couple Awards! The drama has all the elements - comedy, light drama, suspense, a little bit of action and ofcourse romance! Best RomCom to date for 2017. Best kdrama for JCW and NJH. JCW and NJY deliver their respective roles very effectively and naturally. I can feel their emotions especially when they broke-up. I can feel the pain and hurt. I hope this will not be their last project together! Thumbs Up to the production and whole casts!

Allie Jul 11 2017 7:42 am I really do love this drama, I have not missed a day of viewing since it began and I will be sad to see it end, the chemistry between the two actors is mind blowing, very easy, sweet, playful, beautiful, i can't imagine it would have been the same with any of the other two actresses who turned the part down! We were lucky to have had Nam Ji Hyun in the role, she is simply refreshing and a strong compliment to her lead partner Ji Chang Wook. I do have one complaint though, I am saddened by the people who are posting that Nam Ji Hyun is not attractive enough to be a lead player with Ji Chang Wook, she is stunning, she has fine natural features, she did not seek perfection under the knife and I love her for it, she has a lisp, so what life is not perfect! Nam Ji Hyun a superb actress who will only get better with time, and I am her forever and #1 fan!!! Love from NYC

atm Jul 10 2017 9:34 pm this drama has been getting a lot of attention from when the actors were chosen til its last week of showing. this only proves that there's really something to talk about. at first many speculated that the drma may not deliver as the writer had a poor history regarding her stories. if y'all remember the title has been changed quite a few times from "watch out of this woman" to "suspicious partner" to "love in trouble". that's a little alarming for me. then, the drama description said that the killer has amnesia that tries to kill both NJW and EBH. but the way the story went the killer only started having amnesia towards the end. in my opinion, it would been much better if the part about the fathers were scratched out. they should have focused on the mystery of the killer's reason for killing and also on the romance between the main leads. there's still a lot of unanswered questions which i hope they won't forget to clarify this week.i honestly lost it after the bed scene when ji wook found about the bong hee's dad. i just pressed on as i want to support JCW. all the actors did awesome and great. it's the storyline that messed up everybody's effort. just my 2 cents here. anyways, still hoping for an unforgettable ending. fighting SP!

Grace Jul 10 2017 11:31 am Just started watching episode 1 and I kinda agree that Nam Ji Hyun has a tendency to over-act. I had the same problem with her during Shopping King Louis. I feel like quirky roles are not suitable for her. My fave role from her was that from Angel Eyes because she embodied the emotions the role asks of her and it did not feel unnatural at all unlike here.

And this nothing to do with Ji Chang Wook. Yoona got criticized on K2 because she is terrible in acting but ofcourse her fans are still delusional.

Anyways, Healer is still my fave JCW drama.

I'm not sure whether it's the character or the script.. JCW definitely acted out effortlessly yet NJH felt quite off from being natural at times. I'd have to second to those sounding another actress would fit Bong Hee role better. Hate me all you want, I'm simply conveying what I think. No offense meant.

Apart from the chemistry and awesome cast i am loving the story. Its a soft rom com with a great villain and somwwhat fine writting! A must watch!

I stop to wacth this since ep 30s i just cant stand with "nowhere" storyline..hate it. They erased some opportunity to explore thriller and mysteries. Others: Namjihyun..her acting is faraway from ji chang wook. I hope she improved. And her face is look so old for 22 y.o actress. Maybe the make up artist not doing a good job for her. She looks better on shoping king. Becauae the make up she didnt look good togeter with the co actor. But i love her outfits..they all look beautiful.

But, it's easy to figure out who hates who and who is a bad actor and who has a pimple on their face and who should just throw in the towel and never act in anything different again. I guess reviews are not to review the drama that these actors are working so hard on, but for character assignation of their abilities, their looks and/or their past record.

I like the pinch amount of thrill in this drama because NJH and JCW in a rom com is a blessing! That slight thrill genre and major romantic and comedic moments is why i love this drama. Most of the time the balancing doesnt work but i love it here. Always been a NJH fan. And yes i am a park min young fan too. Yes i am both of their fan. It is possible. And yes i am a healer fan too. I love both SP and Healer. When people start comparing and yes have to admit the only-healer fans who are going overboard need to move on. Stop staying in the past. There are loads of good dramas out there. Start looking out for the newer dramas.

And yes the chemistry is not average. Its way above average. Like way way above. Acc to me whenever i see them together in tge screen its like boooooooommmm! Thats how awesome the chemistry is.

BTW, why did they make her look so old in this drama? I understand the character is supposed to be older compared to her other roles, but why do they want to make her look older than the lead guy? The light color of her hair and the way it's styled make her face look fatter as if she gained weight after finishing Shopping King Louis. I think she looks better with darker shades and with it down. Some people mentioned her makeup could use a little improvement and I have to agree. On a positive note, I have no problem with her voice and intonation. Check out her live interviews, she speaks beautifully. Still one of the best and promising young actresses around and I look forward to watching her future dramas.

And besides, if JCW already has a girlfriend at the moment they shoot the drama, I bet a million dollars that he would not behave like that around NJH and vice versa. Bern Jun 30 2017 3:58 am Though episodes 29 to 32 is tinged with sadness due to the effect of the fire incident which cost the lives of the 2 persons dearest to Ji Wook and the life of Bong Hee's dad, It' so good to see that the writer, producer, and director were able to turn the drama in such a way that either of the couple is willing to completely let go of their relationship, especially Ji Wook even after their discovery about their parent/s Wow.. I really love this couple and of course the people behind this drama.

How I wish that I could already watch the 8 remaining episodes, especially now that Ji Wook is starting to recover his memory on what actually transpired during the fire incident. Moreover, it's going more exciting and thrilling again since Jung Hyun Soo woke up after being in comatose for sometime.

Fighting SP Team. Hope your rating would shoot up to 2-digit numbers again

anyways, love every bit of this drama. from chemistry to a mixture of genres to plot and the hilarious cast. i've never watched any dramas in my life that made me laugh so hard and root for all the actors. the law firm members are so funny( and am glad mr. bang is still alive and well!) i will miss thios drama when it ends. :( especially JCW. ♥♥♥

pretty not just cute me Jun 29 2017 7:18 pm just a few detailed observation on our SP artists' visuals....NJH looks so old with her make up in the last few episodes. she should have darken her eyebrows a little bit. i hope SP drama make-up artists can read this. girls look younger and attractive when eyes are highlighted properly. i like nara's eye make-up. they should at least compare and look at screen shots to see whether their actors look pretty with the kind of make-up they put on. i also like njh's hair down more than when it's pulled back in a pony tail. she has a square jaw so she should cover the jawline. they might be working til morning to perfect every episode but the actors' skin look awful when they are overworked and lack sleep as i noticed that NJH's eyes are also getting puffy and looking tired and skin a little rough which was just covered with too much make up.

don't get me wrong. i love this drama to the core and am not giving up. i even pray for a two-digit rating for every episode because i want them to do something for their fans as promised when a 12% rating is achieved. it's just that i'm concerned that some important details seemed neglected as they focus too much on something else. nevertheless, my heart still belongs to suspicious partner. fighting!

i am so in love with this drama that i kept checking instagram, twitter, youtube and whatnot just to fill my thirst for the overflowing chemistry of JCW and NJH. i counted and there will just be 10 episodes left. i will surely miss ji chang wook and the whole cast. great job to the director as well!

It's just amazing! Their acting, their visuals, theirs chemistry and, oh, God, the plot, all of this things are perfect! It's the first time for me, after a long long time, when I don't find a drama boring at all, it gets me hyped every second! However, all hands down for Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun and the rest of the actors who are doing an excellent job. Until now, this kdrama is one of the best ones

Long way to go JCW, you are cute but better brush up your acting if you want to stay in the business for a very long time. Hats off to the writer & director, as well as the actors! Like Secret Garden, 1% of Something, and Another Miss Oh, this drama has a lot of romantic scenes not really for such narrow minded people who'd complain about a simple bed scene with two consenting adults. I could stare at Ji Chang Wook's handsome face the whole day! I adore NJH's cuteness! The red hot chemistry between JCW and NJH is truly electrifying. Love everything about this drama- the thrilling plot, the casts, and the OSTs. This is one for the books!!!

She' s only a year older than NJH. And many of us probably know that unforgettable kissing scene and the following bed scene. l think that scene was mooore hotter than NJH and JCW scene. And that scene had to be to show Han Kyul' s and Go Eun Chan' s wonderful reunions just like Bong Hee' s and Noh Ji Wook' s reunions. In SP, the bed scene had to be because Bong Hee' s and NJW' s relationship have already begun with a one-night stand. Of course we still don' t know what happened that night but you understand me. So, don' t apply double standard when it comes Yoon Eun-Hye and stop bullying NJH. Both of them are good actresses and they are just trying to make the best of their roles.

I dont know why people are complaining about the bed scene. It was quite beautifully done and i think it was necessary that this makes it more difficult for ji wook to walk away from the relationship after discovering who bong hee's father is.

I havent seen a kdrama with perfect plot., not even dots or secret garden. And i admit that the plot can be better for this. But hey i think jcw and njh has got one of themost explosive chemistry in kdrama land.

I don't know but she is 21. Yes, young but not a teen. I'm with Suspicious Partner. They really deserves better ratings. If you watch behind the scenes, you will see how they are a good cast. NJH and JCW have a great chemistry. Also, there are people who says I don' t like NJH' s acting. Okay. That changes from person to person. However, I love her acting. I think she performs character of Bong Hee beautifully. She is cute and naive. I couldn' t think another actress instead of NJH. I will continue to support Suspicious Partner until the finale episode.

I didn't know how young she was till today, and I think she's an amazing actress not afraid to get dirty aha. As for the latest bed scene, I think that's pretty interesting since the K dramas I've seen before tend not to show such intimacy unlike C-dramas. There's a lot of passion, which I think makes sense. They're adults after all, not teenagers who get flustered from holding hands or kisses please. I think people are commenting on the age difference, but remember: They're acting. In the drama, I believe NJH is a lot older-- which is still amazing seeing how young she actually is. So really, it's nothing to fuss at. I really dislike how actresses seem to get more hate then actors. :/ Really now, stop hating just because someone is working with JCW.

I feel it's kind of inappropriate. lol BUT, it's not a reason to put so much hatred on NJH because she did the bed scene with JCW.. People keep on ranting about how lucky NJH to be kissed by JCW and stuff whilst the truth is JCW is the lucky one. If you watch the BtS, you can clearly see how clingy JCW with NJH. He obviously likes her so much. . Yeah, it's undoubtedly true that NJH is not as popular as the other grown up child actors. But her acting is amazing and I'm sure she can go further. Those who keep critising her, then you can replace her role. I bet the viewship rating will not even hit 1% lol. . Please, if you are a true fans, give them a space. They are actors yet they still have their own privacy life and you don't have a right at all to control their life. Fans are for supporting their beloved actors not for ruining them..

To think that this is the last drama that Ji Chang Wook is doing before enlisting to the military is what makes it more special and memorable that all of his fans will cherish & rewatch while he's gone for his duty.

I still think someone will die, though, considering on the man who can foresee the future said. I hope there won't be any unexpected plot later, cause I'm still thinking it's rom-com drama. And rom-com drama always have a happy endinh

Please move on guys!!! Ji chang wook is a great actor, he can build any chemistry with all of his partners. And so far, his chemistry with Nam Ji Hyun is as perfect as when he acted with Park Min Young and Yoona.

Well, this drama is very very good and touching and addicting and very recommended. And their chemistry is ADORABLE.

So for everyone who still thinks that their chemistry sucks, you can imagine yourself as the main lead, perhaps you can do better than JiBong right? HA!

I've been watching Korean dramas for almost 2 decades (20 years) now and I could say that they are the sweetest couple among the couples in all those dramas. I simply love them. I hope this couple would be able to thrill, excite, and make our hearts flutter until the Final episode.

This is just my thought- That Eun Bong Hee's dad may not be the one who started the fire that killed the parents of Ji Wook. It's possible that Ji Wook keep seeing Bong Hee's dad face whenever he dreams because he's the one who actually saved him and even his parents. And, this may also be the reason why Bong Hee's dad died. Take note that the death anniversaries of both Ji Wook's parents and Bong Hee's dad are on the same date. (And also, Bong Hee's dad does not look like a bad person) If this is the case, then it seems they are really destined or fated to be together.....

You must be a stone if you don't feel the palpable brewing romance between the two leads. The sweet romantic moments, not to mention the now memorable "noiseless kiss" will go down in K-drama history as one of the most adorable and romantic scenes ever made. JCW and NJH amazing chemistry is evident both on and off screen. I love this drama so much & will rewatch it again when it's done to reminisce those cute & sweet moments.

Those who blame NJH for the low rating should look at history, both NJM's and JCW's. Almost all JCW's dramas (surprise surprise!) got low ratings when NJW's previous dramas got better ratings. That is not to say JCW's acting is bad. He perhaps just takes on less popular, more experimental projects. And so does NJH, breaking into adult roles, which she does so fine here.

Low rating doesn't equal bad drama. I just thought the style of this drama, slow brewing and toned down dramatics, is not most people's cup of tea. Moreover, this is one of the first dramas made in new 30 minutes per episode format, which makes this almost feel experimental. The script is a little patchy and the pacing throws people off. But bad acting is never the problem.

Just so you know, she has approx. 30 entertainment roles under her belt at the age of 22 (that is just how AsianWiki has listed, she probably has had more minor roles and commercials etc)!! So.. she is definitely not a bad actress (why would they give her so many roles then?) nor is she a rookie. I honestly think this is one of the best dramas this year and love all the lead roles..

secret romance, the two main characters were suppose to marry and at least enjoy life as the CEO of the company.

It's no wonder JCW is mesmerized by her in and out of the drama.

Woah! When i see all those hatred towards NJH ( and that also why? Because of her voice) i cannot help myself but wonder how people can hate someone so much in this short life time. She doesnt have a weird voice but a unique voice which really gives your ears a tad bit of freshness from the usual common female voice in the dramaland. And if you consider the main thing that is acting then nobody can really surpass her in this particular role. I cant even imagine any other actress in the shoes of eun bong hee. She is so underrated.

Beware people. If you have a weird voice in terms of weird people then you must train your voice according to them.

In particular, there is seriously no one like Ji Chang Wook, his charisma and singular charm shine through every character he plays, but he's particularly impressive here because of the variance in his character, there's no monotony! he's bossy, he's dandy, he's cute, he's childish, he's firm, he's aloof, he's perceptive, he's sad, he's sincere, he couldn't care less. He's everything here and you'll love to see the different sides to his character. The actress Nam Ji Hyun looks absolutely adorable with him. The build-up to their romance is actually cute and heart-warming unlike the cheesiness of other recently popular dramas. The only fault i can point out is the weakness of the backstory of all characters, especially Nam Ji Hyun's "taekwondo instructor" past appears to be a completely unnecessary detail which has no bearing on the main plot, but all actors bring enough loveliness and charm to make up for the inadequacy of the script. And the ost is the best that I've heard this year.

I'm started to enjoy the relationship of Bong Hee and Ji Wook; now that Ji Wook finally decided to be a man and own up to his feelings. It was hard seeing Bong Hee's one-sided love not reciprocated. It's was also delightful to see Bong Hee bringing back her sass from episode 1. So adorable!

I was really happy because the drama had started winding down but it's grabbed its momentum right back. I'm so curious about the back story with both of their parents, though... AHHHH I'm just happy today's episodes were really good. They're too cute :3

This is the creme de la creme of rom-coms. The red hot romantic chemistry between JCW and NJH is truly electrifying. I love the plot, the twists & turns, & the supporting casts. The love scene is tender but each time she opens her mouth, it ruins everything. I am sorry, she has to work for her voice. With Yoo in Ah, she is cute but acted very bad. Only Park Min Young performs well. Ji Wook has bad luck with co-star. I love his gaze and he acts so amazingly well and I just had to skip scene with NJH voice. I have sympathy with her so I hope she will work on it. It is a pity because I cannot enjoy completely the drama.

JCW and NJH deliver their their parts professionally and amazingly. i don't know what's with ratings but i don't care. i enjoy watching suspicious partner and it's the first time i've never skipped a part in an episode. i love every minute, every line and every interaction between bong hee and ji wook. Love love this drama ♥♥♥

SBC started separating their 1 hour dramas in 30 minutes segments to circumvent some korean regulation that prohibits commercials in dramas when aired in public television. So they cut the drama in two parts to show commercials in between the episodes. This drama would be normal 20 episodes if it wasn't for this.

She's a good actress, but too young to play her character that i 'd rather go for LSK to be the lead actress. But when I watch the drama, wow she's good. She totally doesn't look like 21 (her real age) but matcg for her character's age (27).. I guess that's what make her a really good actor.

As for Ji Chang Wook, nothing to say. He's handsome and he acts really well. And he's actually friend with Choi Tae Joon, remember him visit Take Joon's virtual marriage with Bomi? :D

This is a really good drama. It's funny but also serious. You'll laugh a lot and also got goosebumps... Worth to watch

I feel like the initial premise of the drama has been done before (not a problem though) but done with a twist. And the relationships among the betrayers (cheaters) and the betrayed are really tangled. You'd need a whole paragraph to explain who is related to who. Even though this drama is 20 hrs in all (broken up into 30 minute episodes), it's so interesting, time just flies by. It feels like I got through the first 8 episodes in less than a day.

I was one of the people who doubted NJH if she would give justice to Bong Hee but after seeing it myself i applaud her.. Seriously guys don't hate the lead actress, she definitely gave justice to the character considering she's young compared to experienced actresses these days.. I mean it would be fun to see LSK as Bong Hee but NJH fits the character well too.. Loving her after watching this... I do rlly like the cast and the plot of this drama. and by far this is the best role that Nam Ji-Hyun has been playing. I saw her in a couple of dramas but I like her in this drama the most plus in my opinion in this one she definitely proves that she is indeed a good actress. as for Ji Chang Wook, he is literally a treat to my eyes and needn't to reiterate that he also acts so well. in addition, the chemistry between JCW and NJH is lovable. moreover, to me, JCW is the best co-star that NJH has had so far.

I do rlly hope that suspicious partner will do as well till the end and the ratings also will do this drama justice.

Ysa May 19 2017 7:44 am When I first saw the poster for this drama, I thought it was just like "The Man Living in Our House." Boy, was I wrong. I didn't expect to fall in love with Ji Chang Wook's character and even with Nam Ji Hyun's character! Their chemistry is just sizzling.

I also really love how fast-paced the story is, and that it still has a central plot. The first eight episodes have been enjoyable so far. I hope it continues to amaze me! :)

derpette May 13 2017 11:53 pm YES, this drama got me hooked so badly omg i love this serie. i feel so lucky for finally being able to get access to recent kdramas, the contents and the topics they tackle on just get better and better. So many topics are well researched. This one too. I love the theme, and the plot seemed to be quite intriguing. The characters are built with many sides to them, but overall it's quite comic (?) but i like it, i mean i can feel how Bonghee is being looked at while acting like that lol. Nam Jihyun's acting is really great and energetic, her voice and pronounciation sounds super Bonghee, if that makes sense. So glad Changwook had a bright role, omg he is such a good actor, getting into the characters really well, and mind you, Changwook in suits is my new religion. And Choi Taejoon too, love that guy! feel like with this Eunhyuk role, he doesnt have to act at all, it looks so him, so natural. Can't wait for the next episodes. Please dont be cliche romance too much, hope it will be more thrilling heheh (dont be like K2 w the romance pls)

If we look more carefully every episode there is a rating progress (although in episode 3 the rating slightly decreased in episode 4 the rating went back up), and this is only 4 episodes aired (actually 2 before they split it), so there is still plenty of chance that the rating will be better.

All the players and crew have worked hard for this drama, let's enjoy the show, and support them wholeheartedly, to be honest I'm a bit fed up with the situation on this comment page, those who blaspheme NJH do not fit this role, his voice is like a child and saying as if they were a professional cinematographer or filmmaker. If you are an expert in this field then you can criticize it all out. Watching a lot of drama will not make you become an expert, all we can do as a viewer is just to enjoy, if you do not like it then stop watching it, it's as simple as that. Dont' blaspheme someone as if you know everything.

However I will still support this drama sincerely, Fighting Suspicious Partner Team!!

A lot of people are backing her up and defending her and showing their love for her and I love reading those positive, uplifting comments. I've also been a fan since Queen Seon Duk. I do think she needs some vocal training/coaching because her voice and way of speaking is limiting if she wants to grow to be a versatile actress, but she's great otherwise. She's very talented imo and a natural beauty. The drama so far is entertaining and interesting. I do see some parallels with other dramas that had similar plot lines, but I'm still enjoying it. Brings an old k-drama feel to it! Looking forward to seeing their relationship grow!!! Also everyone it's 40 half-hour episodes, 20 full-hour episodes. I don't know why they split it in half even though they broadcast the hour long episodes the same day, just calling it halves...? I read it's for advertising benefits but it boggles my mind. Well as long as we still get an hour of this goodie every air date I'm fine. I didn't realize it was gonna even be 20 hour-long episodes :D figured it'd be 16, the norm. Whoo.

I watched the pilot last night and not too attached with it. I mean, they spent almost 1 hour just to show the main heroine scrambling her hair (and, Ji Changwook being perfectly awesome, once again, pardon my bias). But, the last 10 minutes of the show is quite interesting, so I might watch the episode 2 just to see where this show is going.

Hopefully, it's not just a rom-com, but also a good legal drama.

After watching "Healer" and "The K2" I can say JCW had a great chemistry with PMY in every single scene but with Yoona (it's pure my opinion) the chemistry was turn and down, sometimes great sometimes not. I dunno why, I just feeling like that. So I was hesitate first if this pairing will gonna work, and then I'm watching this and... the chemistry is there. NJH became my favorite after seeing her role in Shopping King Louie, so I put the high expectation for her in this drama. And it's just like 2 episodes and I'm not disappointed. I think NJH is perfect for this role. LSK maybe will make it a little too hard for the character. By the way, I hope the rating will get increase.

Can see how she took on this role to shed her usually, friendly, girl-next-door image. I say she is perfect for the role. I can also see why LSK. I like her in weight-lifting fairy, but this role is a little, if not too similar to Kim Boo Joo; high-spirited, strong and sassy. LSK wouldn't have accepted the role if she wanted to advance her career as an actress.

She's so natural. Her facial expression is something. Her voice maybe not strong as others but kind of memorable. Someone who said Nam Ji Hyun is not capable to take the role must watch Shopping King Louie. She did a great job in there! The problem is k netizens. They want paired him with someone more significant.. And we dont know whom is she they would choice..thats the problem if to be paired with famous actor since jcw is 1 of most popular korean actor now.

I though not many young actrees will dare to join this drama if the k netizens put high expectation. So many lead female actrees affraid get bullied by online media.. For example IU, Yoona, suuzy, ect.. Specially every female lead whom idol actress as their 1st job. But k netizen should give them more chances and respect..

Yue Mar 21 2017 1:54 am I would've actually liked it if they've cast Lee Sung Kyung alongside Ji Chang Wook. Admittedly, I've only seen her in Weightlifting Fairy and Doctors, but I do believe she would've been able to carry the role. Of course, if pitted against veteran actresses like Yoon Eun Hye and Han Hyo Joo she wouldn't be able to live up to the standard, but considering this is Ji Chang Wook and I have seen K2 as well as his other projects, I do believe he can work with any actresses veteran or not and still can connect with his co-star. There is a good thing about Lee Sung Kyung, she can act, so that's like half the battle. Alas, I just hope they'll cast an actress that would do the role justice.

They aren't getting married! They're just ACTING! And even if they get married, it's their life stop picking on age. And and age gap doesn't make a difference in dramas if the actors pull it off well. Go watch I Can Hear Your Voice and you'll see that the leads pulled off an amazing chemistry even with a huge age difference.

BTW I'm all for Park Min Young, she's acted with him before and killed it and plus she's acted as a lawyer in many dramas and killed it there too :) Park Min Young please!!
