Movie contains the stories of three people: Suzuki (Toma Ikuta), Kujira (Tadanobu Asano) and Semi (Ryosuke Yamada).

Suzuki is a former middle school teacher. His girlfriend was killed, which led him to quit his job and attempt to take revenge on her murderer. To do so, Suzuki has to infiltrate the underground world of criminals. Kujira is a contract killer for hire. He makes his targets fall into confusion and eventually commit suicide. Semi is a contract killer who uses a knife to take out his targets.

kaia Jul 26 2017 6:21 pm I love the works of Kotaro Isaka. This story has been adapted well to screen and the actors did an excellent job on it. Isaka-san's signature style is his quirky characters, odd humor, plot twists, and heart-warming surprises. Fantastic job all around.

b0blegum Nov 27 2016 5:06 pm too many mistakes in this movie but i like the acting and how they pulled out their character, tbh Yamada surprised me with him going insane bcs i used to see him acting with a cute boy image and Toma is overshadowed by the supporting characters where he supposed to be the main right? This is all about him and his late girlfriend right?

Ending was to cringy for me since i do not fancy romantic movies but something unexpected shocked me a bit.

bon bon Apr 23 2016 11:24 pm I admired how the three main characters pulled out their roles. I like the fight scenes and the psychotic events. So if you dont mind endings, give this a movie a shot (it's not all about the 'and they live happily ever after' tho).

Aaken Nov 12 2015 12:14 pm I won't give away too many details. It's another revenge film. Some elements are underdeveloped so that makes the plot a tad confusing for me. And I saw the film in Taipei, in Japanese with Chinese subtitles when my command of both language is far from great ^^ Beside that, I had a good time. Very nice photography. Music is fine. Ryosuke is entertaining as the kawai deranged killer. A pity that the characters were too one-dimensional. In terms of vengeance movies, I much preferred Chan Wook Park's 'Old Boy' and the likes. Something darker and crazier.

Anyway, enjoy the film!

Miyako May 15 2015 3:35 am Ryosuke playing as a ruthless killer would be amazing! I've watched him play as a villain in Hell Teacher Nube and idk but I laughed. May be becuase I was used to him playing cutesy, obedient roles hahaha
