Seo Mok-Ha (Park Eun-Bin) was a bright and positive young girl living on an island. Her dream was to become a singer. Pursuing her dream, she decided to attend an audition that was being held in Seoul. On her way there, she gets stranded on a deserted island. After 15 years, Seo Mok-Ha is rescued from the deserted island. She tries to adjust to an unfamiliar world, while keeping a cheerful attitude, and she still pursues her dream of becoming a diva.

JP Dec 08 2023 10:08 pm Why does Mok-Ha have several different outfits on the island? Also pans for cooking, bottles etc. Isn't is supposed to be a deserted island? Even if people had been there before, no clothing would have survived the weather. I'm surprised the writers made this mistake, or am I missing something?

BMR39 Dec 08 2023 9:50 pm Park Eun-bin is a truly rare, exceptional actress. in her immense talent, deep intelligence and unmatched versatility. She meets every acting challenge by transforming herself into her character a total way. What other actress could ever range from Attorney Woo, to the dual role of the (male) king in the King's Affection to the budding singer Seo Meok-Ha here in the Castaway Diva? As a great actress Park Eun-Bin ranks as high as Meryl Streep in the US or Jeanne Moreau in France. Her singing this time was a total surprise for me. Again !

    I followed Castaway Diva mostly because of her. I was curious to see how she was going to handle this new challenging role. She does extraordinarily well. 
     But Castaway Diva is not a total success like Attorney Woo because of the casting mistakes made by the director: Cha Hak-Yeon should have played the role of smart Chung Ki-Ho who rescue Meok-Ha from her abusive father. Not the role of the brother Chung Chae-ho. Cha himself is sharp, bright and convincing.  Actor Chae Jeong-Hyeop who got the role of Ki-Ho is rather dull and uninteresting.  In fact, for several of the episodes in Seoul, I was confuse. who was Ki-Ho and who was Chae-Ho between the two Chung brothers ? i

Radwa Dec 08 2023 3:51 am Simply put, this drama was very healing. I think both this drama and Twinkling Watermelon are the best not only this year but for several years. I haven't watched any Korean drama this good in a long long while.

The chemistry between Ki-ho and Mok-ha is absolutely beautiful, he cares a lot about her, always protects her and even though he suffered he made her his priority. She cares a lot about him and his family and always wants what's best for them and even though she went through a lot she still shines and gives others so much hope, she's amazing!

As a reply to the comment below, I absolutely DISAGREE. Chae Jong Hyeop is a great actor, I really do hope he takes more roles. He's so real & natural, that you won't even feel he's acting, and you can feel everything his character is feeling from just his eyes! I see nothing but the chemistry between both the young version and the older version of them. He was the most suitable main character.

Meh Dec 07 2023 7:12 am Watched the drama from the start to the end. In the first ep, I could clearly see the chemistry between the couple when they were children escaping the island. Park Eun Bin is a good actress that showcase a wide range of emotions through her facial expression especially her eyes. Unfortunately, her co-star Chae Jong Hyeop couldn’t meet the standards…. His acting was stiff, it was like looking at a robot acting. Every words, every expression was stoned without emotions. I seriously could not see the chemistry between both of them.. Sadly, I expected more of the main male actor but his acting is really bad without emotions… Cha Hak Yeon should be the main male character instead of being the second lead, his emotions and acting is so good

June Dec 05 2023 10:13 pm I have really enjoyed this drama. I felt for Park Eun Bin in Attorney Woo but in Castaway Diva, I felt for her voice. I was actually amazed to found out she was the actual singer. I think the cast was perfect. I would have preferred Ki-ho to be the other brother tho. I liked his character better but nice job to the writers to make us believe otherwise !

In an alternate reality, the drama happened 30 later Descendants of the Sun, spin off of Seo Jung Yeon and Lee Seung Joon, 30 years later, in a bad marriage. Seeing them together just reminded their relationship in DOTS.

Overall, I love this drama so much, it didn't only focus on the love line, but also brothers relationship, sisters, family, father's love, mother's love, daughter's/son's love, friendship, long-lasting relationship, your love to your passion, etc, so much more which made this story so special to me, the drama is beautifully made. Jillibean Dec 03 2023 11:11 pm I did research on the writer's other works, one was I Hear Your Voice which is in my Top Ten Favorite K-dramas after close to 1000 watched over 20 years. Then there is one called Strangers In Paradise and two characters jump off a cruise ship at the same time, end up on an island and fall in love! That drama was way back in 2006! Too funny. She seems to have a fixation on characters jumping off ships. :)

smarty-pants Dec 03 2023 8:10 pm when one talks, normally, one's eyes would reflect one's mood. However for those with different agenda, they would pretend to be in different mood. Poker face means one intentionally set him/herself as such so others could not read what is going on simply by reading the face. Ex. in poker game you don't want other to know that you got bad cards. so you set your face blank or just plainly so opponent can't read your face. But if you are being decent to the one you talk to, you would have honest face when you talk to the person. Now having said all that, back to the drama, you dont converse with people you care and give that blank face, giving the impression actually i dont care about you, i should be somewhere else right now rather talking to you.I am a bit sleepy actually. Not one tiny gesture showing that you pay attention to what is going on. you are just talking. No change in the voice , eyes blinking, or not even acting showing interest. But since you are not in a poker game, where you intentionally playing plain facade, then what is the point of acting like that.

Outstanding as always Park Eun Bin, who for us is undoubtedly the best Korean actress. Very good once again Chae Jong Hyeop and Lee Seung Joon. A guarantee as always Seo Jung Yeon. A special mention for Cha Hak Yeon, who was perfect in the role of the third wheel in the love triangle, showing himself to be insufferable, arrogant and conceited in the first part of the series, witty, attentive and sensitive in the second. Bravissimo!

Jillibean Dec 03 2023 11:13 am Thanks to everyone who alerted me about actor Min Sung-Wook as the prosecutor in episode 11. I see they have even added his face and character name to the page today. Very good. I looked up his resume: I had actually seen him in a whopping 15 other dramas before this one. Too funny. You know their faces but rarely learn their names when they are mostly supporting players or special appearances. What I liked about how he handled the scene was that it was obvious his character saw right through the corrupt biological "father" and understood why his estranged wife couldn't live with him. Just the way he looked at him you could tell he wasn't buying the man's lies. Excellent.

I think the show needed 16 episodes. All of a sudden Ran Joo got her voice back?! & they should have done the music video together. I really wish they would’ve shown more of Mokha and Ran Jo’s fun relationship, and how Ran Joo actually found peace to get her voice back. They said the voiceloss was caused by stress right? Anyway, I’m guessing the Heyday Again show episodes and the performance stage were really expensive, so that’s why we don’t see much stage singing again. I wish we would see them both sing more and show the idol journey. That moment at the wedding was beautiful. I hope the OST has all these songs, they brought tears to my eyes.

Yep the earlier comments are correct, Woohak is made to be Mokha’s best friend. He also lost his childhood memories so he is learning to grow with his friend who experienced the same thing. Mokha needs Kiho as a boyfriend. Woohak needs her as a friend. Unless they plan to share (haha just a joke).

What she needed was someone reliable and who can give her stability after living on a deserted island for 15 years.

nari Nov 27 2023 8:28 am My theory about Ran Joo’s mother is that she is the one that initially financed the RnJ without Ran Joo’s knowledge and have President Lee as co-maker or investor for it. They have an agreement, Ran Joo care less about the business side but her mother wants to support her more. So the shares of Ran Joo is from her mother, now that she is sick, I think President Lee used that to fully control the agency by owning it by kicking RanJoo out. Remember that the initial name of the agency is Ran Joo, that is the idea of Ran Joo’s mother because of her support and fondness of Ran Joo.

I think in the next episode, the mother will be able to read the article or watch the press conference about the shares which will remind her of the agreement or owning the RnJ. The key must be a key of a safe where the agreement was.

That will be the full evilness of President Lee, he was only raking advantage of Ran Joo to fully own the agency.

The characters in this drama are so realistic and I am glad the writer does not emphasize too much on Woo Hak's feeling towards Mokha. The scene where he cried when Mokha left is not unnecessary tho, since there we would think "oh he finally admit his defeat".

Bogeol/Kiho on the other hand is the greenest flag ever. He is the whole garden, the whole forest. His matured thinking, supporting Mokha in everything she does and not even a negative thought when he sees Mokha tried to leave the rooftop. We all know Mokha and Bogeol deserve each other and will always support each other come hell or high water.

To whoever that is mad when Mokha left the rooftop need to understand that Mokha has been living her life in hell since she was young. And of course it is understandable that she will chase her dream since the chance is right there. Also, Bogeol also said to her the only way for her to help them is by being famous. Mokha knows that, Bogeol is also aware of that. These two people are just adults who try to live their life, and accept that this is how the world works, and not all people would understand the backstory of their lives.

It is sad how underrated this drama is. Both the leads are great with their acting and not even once i actually did not see them as their characters because they are just too natural and good with their expression and intonations.

People should give this drama a chance. Cant believe there are only two episodes left.

The initial storyline, belief in her talent, and pushing her while falling for her was Kang Woo-Hak. Why they are not following that initial setup is taking so much from the storyline created and for some reason the brother has inserted himself, deviously, in my opinion! We get a tease of Seo Mok-Ha kissing Kang Bo-Geol next week. Zero interest in this guy . Way too needy and not who her heart was set on while on the Island for 15 years. Good grief, the writer's must be drunk!!

My gosh manager Park Yong Gwan story is so sad! Many people give up on their dreams, but sometimes it only works out when you wait a little longer and never quit!!! Till the end like Mok Ha sang! It would actually be great if manager Park Yong Gwan was the love interest for Ran Joo, imagine if he loved her all these years from afar! That would’ve been a brilliant twist!

I wonder what Ran Joo’s mother was talking about? I wonder what the key is for? I also wonder if Ran Joo will ever sing again, maybe another duet with Mok Ha? Ran Joo also shouldn’t give up!

I understand President Lee doesn’t care about his artists, but I think the producers/writers should have made that clearer. They should have made him a more evil character, because right now his soft character doesn’t match the evil things he’s doing like Ran Joo’s contract and giving Mok Ha old songs.

I love Cha Hak Yeon here, for me he's the most interesting character here. But I'd agree that Chae Jong Hyeop is better suited to be Ki-ho, what with his moody looks - though as stated above i think there's a visual mismatch IMO. looks wise, I'd say someone like Na In Woo or Kim Min Kyu would be better suited as Ki-ho to Eun Bin's Mok-Ha

I think Bo-Geol/Ki Ho the right guy for Mokha, she needs that calm balance and protection. but I also liked when Woo Hak was happy and supporting Mokha. Once he got his memories back he has become more negative and cold towards Mokha. I prefer that he returns to his happy self and also stands by Mok Ha too, without fear of his father.

Bogeol and Mojas' tension is on another level. Just enjoy the show.

It seems like in most k-dramas today, even the love stories, there is some level of violence and at least one truly evil character. Does violence and evil exist in society? Suzie Nov 17 2023 10:17 am Brilliantly well acted directed and written. It’s so beautifully unlikely that it’s almost a fairy tale - 15 years on a desert island, but it doesn’t matter, I love it. Such an intriguing plot. Great leads and support cast, mystery, romance and thrill.

But one tiny comment. The actors all, especially the men, have on too much foundation make-up. Never seen that before. I know men wear lipstick, but the thick mask-like appearance is not good. 
OST and singing fab. Waiting for Episode 7. ❤️❤️

Now, there is a secret that Bogeol is pertaining to, that will destroy their entire family. About their stepfather, my theory is that upon their escape they encounter the family of their stepfather that caused an accident killing the stepfather’s real family, I think he also suffer memory lost. As Bogeol said, they cannot escape their abusive father because he can easily find them just being their father, simply changing their names won’t do. They took the identity of the stepfather’s real family that is why when Woohak tried to convince the stepfather he insists that Woohak is his biological son. So, only Bogeol and their mother knows this secret. That is best for them to change their identity, by taking someone else identity. I think the river that being shown on Mokha and Bogeol’s dialog about secret has the answer to this. Ciao!

Caught myself watching an emotional scene inside a train, I immediately had to take a tissue out of my bag before people started to notice me bawling in the train! Lol I am now a fan of Chae Jong Hyeop and, sorry to N (who I think is a good actor, too), but I am shipping Mok-ha and Bo-Geol more than anything! :D

Actually at first I was hanging back to watch this, bcz seeing from the poster this might be a love triangle trope, which I actually getting tired of. But, from what I see, the dynamic of Mokha and Woohak is more like a besties, which I actually really like. And I hope the writer would keep their besties dynamic until the end and not suddenly making Woohak catching feelings for Mokha and just caused conflict between two of them and Bogeol. And it also will be a perfect example of how when a man and a woman get closer with each other doesn't mean it always has romance include in it. Rather adding unecessary love triangle, I want them to focus more on Mokha and Kiho/Bogeol's relationship that started from just a pure and innocent friendship and growing to romance after reuniting again after 15 years

Chancellor 7 Nov 12 2023 3:40 pm I haven’t finished episode 6 yet, but if Bo Geol turns out to be Ki Ho I’m fine with that…he matches Ki Ho’s personality more. Woo Hal would also be good as Ki Ho. But I’m fine with whichever way it goes, that’s part of life! They both care for Moi Ha and show love in two different ways…one is emotional & over the top (Woo Hak) and one is quiet and serious (Bo Geol).

I think Bo Geol may just end up as just her friend, as he is similar to the Boss from Startup, which Park Hye Ryun also wrote. He is mature and will understand if she doesn’t pick him.

This theory is always repeat in every Korean dramas, except if the writer will give a big plot twist I don't know...

Also @Yo the reason why you see Bo Geol’s indifference could be due the fact that he’s trying to mask his identity especially since his brother has memory loss and could get triggered into getting his memory back and exposing himself to Mok-Ha could bring his family is danger because of his abusive father. I believe that in the subsequent episodes when they finally reveal his identity, we will see a flashback of his real reaction at the beach and him going through all those emotions all alone trying not to get caught by others. I believe that’s why he’s not getting much screen time as well due the fact that they’re trying to keep the viewers guessing as to which brother it is. That’s why we see more of Woo-Hak for that very reason. But already we are seeing him lingering around her and trying to help her even if it’s under false pretence.

This show is really exciting and it’s a breath of fresh air especially since I was totally disappointed by the escape of the seven series and had to give up at episode 13. I hope this show will continue to improve and show character development of all the main characters.

Park Eun Bin seems to pick great characters to play and really diverse which shows her skills as an actor at being able to make the audience immerse fully into her characters and forget that she’s playing a role.

Even through writernim wants to confuse us with Woo Hak memories ans without showing Bo Geol's concern.for Mok Ha, there are some clues that Bo Geol is Ki Ho, thé shoes he bought, he knew the meeting point without anyone telling him, hé seems familiar to Ran Joo,thé way hé talked in the car which remind Mok Ha of Ki Ho, his attitude in general. Of course there IS also another hypothesis that woo.hak IS ki ho and that hé told BO Geol every thing before losing his memories. And this is why Bo Geol knows some informations. Anyway, i still think Bo Geol is Ki Ho.

For who will end UP with Mon Ha, I understand that woo hak carring about mok Ha is touching. But still, I'm on team Bo Geol. Hé suits more to Mok Ha. Can't wait seeing how his interest in Mon Ha will grow.

As for mok Ha, she is still Desperate to find ki ho and support Ran joo so i don't think she had time to think about our boys in that way but we're still on eo.5, she'll soon become conscious of them. Now she's Closer to woo hak but i think her relationship with Bo Geol is starting to grow an bloom :)

His mother, brother, Mok Ha and step father. Woo Hak and Kiho are real brothers, them and their mother are all being beaten by their father. Woo Hak accident would be caused by their father it might be by protecting their mother or Kiho since he is older brother, and the father think that he is already dead that is why the father only acknowledge or speak only about Kiho being his child. Kiho might be locked down by their father when the mother escaped with Woo Hak, that is why he remained with his father. Let's go back to his teenage years where Kiho was very determined to change his identity and even change his name so that no one would recognize him, and so that he wouldn't have to suffer anymore. that's already the answer look how bo geol doesn't like discussing about kiho, he always diverts it because he has trauma about it. Woo Hak's memories are just a diversion to keep us confused. Wouldn't it be more interesting to make viewers curious and ask questions?

Assuming Woohak is Kiho, why would the writer make a character who has been physically/mentally injured for almost all his life? To further explain, Kiho was badly injured by his father and once from Mokha's father in his time in the island then as he escaped to Seoul for a new life and gets injured again through memory loss which technically means for 31 years he suffered physically = from abuse and mentally = memory loss/identity crisis? What kind of logic is that? What's the use of giving Kiho's character depth in the 1st episode only for his character's conclusion to be someone who had memory loss? I know the writer isn't dense enough to make a character who gets a free pass from a cliche memory loss to be endgame. That's just sloppy writing right there.

That's why I'm 100% sure Kiho didn't get memory loss.

Cuz remember near the end of episode 1, we can see that Ki Hoo waited for so long even after coming back from the marines, which means he still has memories of her about her after high school.

Or Bo geol’s dad took him and changed his name to ki-ho so his mom couldn’t find him.

Could be as simple as this.

In that moment, Bo Geol aka Ki Ho transplanted some part of his brain (?) in order to cure Woo Hak and to be allowed to enter Woo Hak's family. So that's why Woo Hak has a big scar in his head and has some Ki Ho's memories.

In the end, this is a fictional drama.

Something was bothering me, however, that I could not articulate until now -- look at how flawless everyone's skin is - especially Park Eun-Bin. I get that she's beautiful, but the digital filtering used gives this a drama an unrealistic look. It's not just the skin smoothing effect, but also the color and tone of the footage. I think most of the filtering is completed in post production. They shoot each episode then a digital editor uses sophisticated software to enhance the overall look of the scenes and characters. This, of course, is not new but it's applied too heavily in this drama. What autotune did for pop music, digital filtering is now doing for television.

I can't believe how much he has grown since playing the younger version of Park Seo Joon in What's Wrong With Secretary Kim. In about 5 years, he shot up! There is no way Ran Joo will end up with Ki-Ho .. come on! They have come such a long way from ... not to end up together. Please let them be together Mo Hak and Ki Ho.

B Nov 05 2023 3:12 am @J I believe Ki ho is BG as well, maybe your logic of the family dynamic could be plausible. It hadn’t occurred to me but that scenario make more sense that she married a man with a son already and changed her son’s name legally to protect him against his father. On the first episode Ki Ho’s father made mention of him running away to his mother and she knew her whereabouts.

I believe WH has a memory loss as he has said so many times and that’s why BG is confident in saying you’re not him because he knows for certain. Also, since his father is looking for him he has kept his distance to ensure his safety and his identity not being recognised. It also makes sense why he would be volunteering in the island maybe he has always been searching for her. If you noticed his reaction when he found her it wasn’t a shock or horror but it looked like he was relieved and he was keeping his emotions in check. He manipulated his brother into helping her because he knows he’ll do that opposite of what BG says. That’s why his reaction to finding out that she was staying in the roof room wasn’t a surprise.

I’m watching this for Park Eun Bin she is an amazing actress, very versatile, from comedy to melodrama. Her emotions are always on point and her characters believable.

Maybe the mom is his mother and she was hurt by his father, and later on she married woohak' father

Maybe there was an accident happened that caused Woohak lost his memory, and also caused her mother’s injury. Maybe Kiho was also involved that time they were both hospitalized, both parents learned Kiho’s past so they decided to adopt him.

The end of the second episode was so lovely, from Yoon Ran-Joo's expressions of insecurity, then hope, and then gratitude towards the crowd and the same expressions towards Seo Mok-Ha. Kang Bo-Geul's mesmerized expression while watching Yoon Ran-Joo was wonderful, as was Kang Woo-Hak's expression of almost disbelief and admiration while watching Seo Mok-Ha. Seo Mok-Ha's childish excitement before the show was so endearing. Her adoration for Yoon Ran-Joo was so pure. Mok-Ha sang beautifully, and when the two hugged at the end it was absolutely touching. I am hoping that in the coming episodes these four characters will be only good and supportive of one another, that any adversity will be external, and that they can conquer it all together. I wonder if Kang Bo-Geul is really Jung Ki-Ho (that was him in the navy uniform, right? I am thinking he would not have enlisted in the navy if he was prone to sea-sickness), but it might be cool if he fell in love with Yoon Ran-Joo so that Kang Woo-Hak could be with Seo Mok-Ha. I'm also hoping for a connection, maybe long lost cousins, between Yoon Ran-Joo and Seo Mok-Ha. The acting in this drama is superb. I am loving every bit of it so far. I've been playing the ending and beautiful song over and over!

And if she can make a place for live from the wood, why didn't just she make a boat and leave the island? In the second episode, woo hak has a bad seasick. But when he came to Chunsam island with mok ha, he was really really fine, even make a call. I like the actors. But something feels off about the script. Its keep bothering me. Anyway, lets wait for ep 3 to see the progress.

Already have a similar plot for an idol like singer. Just dont like the story and this love triangle etch. I guess I mostly prefer a revenge kdrama, thriller/mystery, action, fantasy. A mixed of action/comedy/romance. This plot is not my type for now.

How Mok Ha could ever lives there for 15 years, in the isolated island, the writer’s imagination is too much..but i loves the story and most importantly the selection of song so far personally for me are the best among kdrama i watched this year!!

I always ask why Mok Ha always wears a long-sleeved uniform apparently to cover the bruises on her hands, and the same goes for Ki Ho. Even though I hope that episode 2 will tell more about how Mok Ha can survive on the island, especially in winter. also where did he get that good umbrella, so it still bothers me because there is no more detailed explanation about it.

The story between Kihoo and Mohak are really touching, I'm sure Kihoo is Chae jong hyeop.

The last scene of episode two is really good too, Park Eun Bin is really amazing, her voice and emotion is really another level.

Somehow extenuate that loophole by saying that there are about 3000 isolated islands in Korea, ok,.. i go along with that. I brand myself as a broad minded and open to new ideas kind of person.It wont hurt me anyway. So, I let it slide by thinking that they don't want to waste too many episodes about the island's life. Just spend some minutes in the first episode and 15 years passed by. However before i start thinking that some writers took me for a fool with all that life in the island - such as how the heck she still wore the same shirt from 15 years ago, or how she washed her hair - the story starts to unfold rather smoothly, and i forget about my rather unsettled feeling about the island. So, my suggestion is : let it ( the island story) slide. And focus solely on PEB's acting. The concept is a 31 years old woman with a 16 years old mindset. That is one difficult role to fill in. The problem in watching PEB's performance is she makes it look easy, whilst actually it is that difficult. So I miss lots of scenes where i didn't realize that actually it is that difficult to perform that particular scene. Example:. The scene where she was busy distributing green ballons. Like a teen get excited about her idol. PEB performed it well , not too much, not too subtle. Just perfect. How to explain that... the sincere feeling of a teen kid, and her happiness in supporting her idol; her way in conversing with the adults. I rewatched the scenes to realize the meticulous performance she did there. Looks like an easy scene to perform, but no, it is not an easy task to act like a 31 years old with a 16 years old mindset. Verbally and Non-verbally. Having said all that, lol, I root for PEB to perform in more difficult scenes later on.

Chae Jong-Hyeop looks a lot like ahn hyo-seop (business proposal/a time called you). Even how they act with no smiling lol. It’s funny that they’re names a similar.

Also the singing voice for adult Mokha really matches Park Eun Bin…I wonder if it’s actually Eun Bin singing

When he was young his mom left cos of the father's abusive behavior. The mom remarried and had Woo Hak. Maybe they changed their age and renamed Ki-Ho so the biological father wouldn't find him. Also, Woo Hak thinks that he is Ki-Ho, and Mok-Ha feels that Woo Hak is Ki-Ho cos they have the same vibe... Well, Woo Hak always copies Bo-Geol... I'll just leave it here. I can't wait to know if my hunch is right.

Even if you don’t want to talk about woo young woo, she was great in the kings affection. Those two alone are far better performances than a lot of the other hyped actresses. People have the right to their opinions but insulting a phenomenal multi award winning actress like Park Eun-Bin saying she has huge shoes to fill from the younger actress performance (see my first two sentences if you're confused as to why that's rude) and she's a downgrade makes you a moron. Normally, people who are stranded in the jungle or on an island for so long don't get dressed like that. Plus, her clothes look good and are not shabby.

In this category it is a good film and it will be much appreciated by PEB fans. But there is nothing surprising in it. The start point is original but the series ens up as a rather conventional production about young people trying to do their best in their life. This is a perfect series for a very young aspiring actress starting her career and who needs absolutely to please the largest audience possible. Is this the kind of film Park Eun-bin needs to do at this stage of her career? I wish she would make psychological drama dealing with real life people dilemna, dealing with authentic social, professional, personal issues. I would like to see her in a more melancholic and contemplative films. Comedies are not the only way to convey positive thinking. A positive message, which is good for the mind and the soul, can also be transmitted in an actual drama, by the authenticity of the situations, the sincerity of the emotions, the depth of thoughts, the complexity of the characters.

It's kind of like a new take on the time travel theme. I guess Korea changed a lot in 15 years, but I wonder if she got stranded 15 years ago and is coming back into today's world, or whether she got stranded today and is returning to Korea 15 years from now. Should be interesting. I feel like Eun Bin would not choose a bad script to work on, so I'm looking forward to it.

im just thinking that it will be a funny, light, and somehow inspiring drama. theres no need to be that serious. me personally watch a drama just for healing purpose

Inmo Feb 09 2023 6:05 pm First of all, Director has had some successful works. Both he and writer also worked together a few times, so at least this drama would turn decent. But Logically, how big South Korea is and how many deserted islands there could be? Not to mention a habitable one that a human can survive alone for freaking 15 years. Gotta say ms. Park would have to hard carry the drama again.
