I was so impressed with your film My Princess. I have very little regard for Asian films because of my ignorance and have little opportunity encountering. I was recommended My Princess while I am holidaying in Asia. It is a true great piece of entertainment but the English subtitles were terrible not until it was translated by an associate that is of Korean origin. Your direction is superb and the actors, Song Seung Heon and Kim Tae Hee were faultless. To direct a serious piece of acting is not hard but to direct a light hearted piece of work is extremely difficult and you have made it really alive and entertaining, and most of all has a sense of 'Realism' that is actually so hared to achieve. It is beautifully directed and mastered and executed. You out rated 'Roman Holiday' any time. The writer is out of this world. Because of "My Princess" I did request for 'Pasta', it is also a very good film but still a true light hearted most entertaining, great plot and well made 'Love Story', 'The Princess' takes the cake! Looking forward to your future work and hopefully Song and Kim or alike will be acting in them. Why Hollywood films are highly successful because most of them have great endings. Even for those that were not, the endings usually heroic and some how accounted for unlike quite a lot of Korean films, 'TOO SAD for words'. It has defeated the purpose of being entertained. May be that is the Asian culture and it sure is foreign to me and hope you produce more entertaining pieces that you are so good at doing. With very best wishes, emma
