Impacting... profoundly impacting. A life lesson. Kamsahabnida. Blonde May 02 2021 5:23 am Hoping that you have another drama coming soon.... It's been a while since the brilliant Marriage Contract! Ieyna Sep 17 2016 12:45 am I loved your recent work,Marriage Contract. It touched me deeply unlike most of other melodrama I've watched before. The subtleness present in every scene, chemistry between lead, the dialogues, every raw feeling attached are done very-very well. Thus, all the factor above contributed to the success of this melodrama. You did a very good job, Chaka-nim. Now, I'm looking forward to your future work. Aja-aja fighting! milly Apr 27 2016 10:38 pm Just finished Marriage Contract. It really is one of the most subtle and moving K dramas I've ever seen. The main love story, terminal illness and all, is incredibly well done. Every character behaves like a real person. This is what melodrama should be. Dammit, this is what K drama should be. Claire Apr 19 2016 12:11 pm I absolutely love Marriage Contract, for all the reasons mentioned below. It is one drama that I love and will love returning to. Thank you. Now I will be checking your other dramas. Keep writing. Keep well milly Mar 29 2016 6:13 am Have never seen this writer's work before "Marriage Contract" but am very impressed by the way all the old tropes (terminal illness, piggybacks, chaebol guy / poor girl pairing, etc etc) are used to develop and deepen the story. E.g. I liked how the piggybacking to the hospital was not only unappreciated by the female, but also served to emphasise that, for the poor, a visit to the hospital can be something to be truly dreaded, bringing more trouble instead of relief. Also: yiiyr/raven/steben -- judging from your use of Singlish I suppose you are Singaporean? Surely you have either experienced or seen people undergoing stifled or unsuccessful sneezes? I really hope other Singaporeans are not so ridiculous as to claim that such sneezes don't exist, or to judge a writer on such a flimsy basis. yiiyr Jul 19 2015 11:31 pm The Show "You are the best" episode 4 or 5. the little gal was running away from Jung Woo with a mask. There is this one silly part where Jung Woo took out the mask after the little gal run away from the cake shop. He tried to sneeze but didn't. What rubbish and what the hell is this? Want to sneeze just sneeze lah.. Where got people stop there one. Continue to sneeze la…. hahaha. lousy writer. Rose Sep 01 2013 11:16 am Thank you for the many evenings of edge of my seat tears and laughter, You are a funny, sensitive writer who highjlights the foibles and challenges of modern day Korean life. Not that I would really know as I live in Laguna Niguel, California. But I'm getting to know a snapshot of korean life. I love the way you write -with heart and pathos. But... did it have to take so long for them to finally kiss?. I wait all week to see my shows although I watch during the week, when I get home from work, as well. Who knew Koreans were such delightful, funny, sarcastic, wiley, impetuous, secretive old/new people? You've opened my eyes. I'm hooked. Thanks so much- finally programs that I actually look forward to watching. Roseanne Categories: Screen writersSouth Korean screen writers Page Discussion View View source History
