The Japanese government carries out a secret project which entails collection of all personal information on its citizens. The data is then analyzed to determine who will likely commit serious crimes in the future and also discover details about their future crimes. Detectives go undercover to find out that information.

Norito Izawa (Ikki Sawamura) is a former elite detective at the security bureau. Due to a case, he was demoted to the documentation section of the general affairs department. Troublemakers at the National Police Agency are normally found in the documentation section. The troublemakers are purposely sent to to the documentation section to carry out the government's secret project.

S03 wise...even worst. its much better if they do not use the title name and start it afresh.

Izumi was moved from main to more like side characters tis season. and all previous chars was dropped like its multi verse.

Not recommended to watch.

Hotelier Jun 08 2021 7:02 am Agree with @Alif's comment below. Season 1 is the best, digging into cold case, while the team have an awesome chemistry. Season 2 with bigger team and more high-tech gadgets, I found it a little disappointing, but still worth to watch. I wish they keep the original cast like season 1 or at least season 2.

Alif Apr 11 2020 8:47 am While the idea - of police able to predict and stop crime before it happened - is admittedly remarkable, this and the subsequent seasons of Absolute Zero arr likely bound to be a disappointment for some of the viewer of Absolute Zero Season 1-2. With Special Investigation Unit being no more and all of the characters in the past seasons discarded - while Izumi and Chief Nagashima are still appeared in this season, in the next season they didn't have any appearances and there are no mention of them in any references to this season -, the "Mihan" Absolute Zero become an entirely new show, with very little relations to season 1-2. It is very disappointing, therefore, for those who has been the fan of "Special Investigation Unit" Absolute Zero, who has grown to like Izumi in action, Chief Nagashima's patriarchal manner, Takamine's elder sisterly bearing, Fukazawa's cold manner, Investigator Kurata and Shiraishi in the office researching informations about cases in the office, and the sometimes-comical behavior of Sae and Sho and the rest of Special Investigation Unit Laboratory, for they will not be able to see them in action anymore.
