Plot
The scriptwriter Yoshi is one of the hottest names in the Japanese TV drama business, having attracted attention as a pioneer in the so called “cell-phone novel.” In 2001, the first installment of the series, Deep Love (Part 1: Ayu’s Story) broke an access count record of 2000. Now Yoshi has produced four new dramas for Fuji TV. These works are based on the many e-mails that arrive everyday in his mailbox and letters with messages and cries of the heart from today’s young people. All the more, these works tug at the heartstrings not only of Yoshi’s fans but the general public.The heroines of the installments are all woman about 20 years of age. Having graduated from high school, they’re now up against the reality of the workaday world. The stories depict how these four modern young woman experience suffering, pain and joy as they “grow” in the true sense.
