Gyun-Woo (Cha Tae-Hyun), who can't forget the sassy girl, meets his first love (Victoria). He fell in love with her when they were in elementary school. At the time, other kids teased her because she wasn't very good with Korean.

Despite the opposition of others, Gyun-Woo and his first love marry. What awaits for Gyun-Woo goes beyond his imagination.

Notes

Filming began September 29, 2014 in Busan, South Korea. First scene filmed has just married Gyun-Woo (Cha Tae-Hyun) having lunch with his Japanese boss Yuko (Mina Fujii). Yuko also likes Gyun-Woo.

My03S2K Dec 14 2018 10:40 am This movie was ok to watch and you can’t compare to the first My Sassy Girl. The first movie was like WOW, because of the surprise ending and also faith play the biggest part for the couple how they first meet. The second movie is just a romance comedy and nothing more, and maybe the only good thing come out of the second movie was the closure for both movies in the ending. I still would recommend this movie to watch if anyone saw the first movie, and if they not satisfy to the ending of My Sassy Girl.

Tayabah Aug 26 2016 7:55 am Tbh if they had made this as a completely different movie with a different name and not a sequel to my sassy girl as many fans enjoyed the ending and hated how they just threw all their love and friendship into the bin and randomly the original sassy girl decides to be a nun,like wtf I was rly sad.i think as a film by itself it would receive more praise as they wrecked the whole point of the first movie with the sequel and many people would have given the film a chance before they watched it but many people had already made up their mind as it wasn't the original sassy girl.well that my opinion anyway❤️❤️❤️

It may not be at its best but the plot was still nice. I agree to one of those who commented that this shouldn't be a sequel. "My Sassy Girl" fans should see the ending part. HAHAHAHAHA

The girl isn't really all that sassy and she's the one holding onto Gyeon Woo, so it seems a bit weird to say that she's a sassy girl. It would have been better if this was named "My First Love Has Returned" or something instead of My New Sassy Girl. The movie is good as an overall, but not the front part where they make the original "the girl" become a nun. It really really shouldn't have been a sequel, since now korean netizens are criticizing this movie T^T

I have nothing against this pair, I just wish they used a different title and/or storyline for this. My "New" Sassy Girl? Like Gyunwoo has a way of targeting sassy girls wherever he goes or something. XD

Also, why do they keep making their "sassy girls" hurt Gyunwoo? It's starting to get unfunny.

vic Nov 14 2015 3:22 am actually even though i really want to watch this movie becuase of victoria but victoria is too young too pretty to sexy for him ( no bad intentions ) i did like the 1 st movie it was funny but i can't fell the chemistry this time he is 39 years old and she is 28 years old 10 years gap i dont mean to judge but it's just that i really like victoria and i don't want her to be with too old guys it's okay if their gap is 4-3 years but still i am going to watch it i will always support victoria

Then, according to Victoria, it was supposed to be out during Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving, end of Sept) for both Korea and China. Not sure if that happened, since I can't find information about it.

I mean maybe because I knew he have married but Victoria really are not good together with Cha Tae Hyun... I just can't find the chemistry between both of them? I Hate My Job May 04 2015 3:58 am So after almost 15 years we will be getting the sequel to a beautiful classic My Sassy Girl that became a mega blockbuster, I'm really excited and hope it will give me that same feeling I had 14 years ago, but I doubt it cuz times have changed and movies like those are very few, I just wish it was a Jun Ji Hyun movie again but on the other hand I also like Victoria in Fx but this will the first time I will see her on screen acting, hope she does a good job Hwaiting Victoria !! But to be honest when we talk about My Sassy Girl in Korea ver, what first comes in my mind is Cha Tae Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun as if this movie is belong for both of them.
