Members of SWORD win against Wangan Rengogun, which is led by Kohaku (Akira). The city becomes peaceful again.

Nevertheless, the most brutal gangs appear. The gangs are Doubt, led by Ranmaru Hayashi (Aoi Nakamura), and Prison Gang, led by Jeshi (Naoto). These gangs try to dominate the area controlled by SWORD. The new gangs also go up against other gangs in the area. Finally, Doubt, with the help from Prison Gang, challenges White Rascals to fight.

Nishiki Jan 24 2021 11:51 pm @ Ben, if you watched this and expected it to be like a yakuza movie, you're sorely mistaken. First and foremost, this is a movie practically run by a boy band, for the sake of promoting the boy band. You cannot expect this to be an accurate representation of gangs in Japan and Japanese society as a whole. You watch High&Low for the attractive cast and the fight scenes, not whether or not it's commentary on society and crime is accurate.

LegolasHair Mar 21 2018 11:57 am The movie couldn't pull me in except for a couple of fight scenes where good martial arts techniques were displayed. Maybe I should have begun with the series before watching this one..but I still didnt like where the story was heading.

As someone who is living in Japan, I couldn't even begin to list up all that is wrong with this movie and franchise in regard to real Gang in Japan and japanese society. Can't believe that they'd spend that much money for such a hot mess.
