Kristin Jul 01 2013 4:43 pm I am an American who hates most American cinema. So, naturally I turned to British and Japanese film, which is infinitely better in general. I've seen dozens upon dozens of Japanese films and have loved many of them, however, NOTHING has compared to Strange Circus and the absolutely amazing portrayal of Yuji by Essei Ishida. Nothing. That role was preformed so beautifully that I have no words to do it justice.
