By day, Jung-Hoon (Lee Je-Hoon) is a hard working police officer and by night Jung-Hoon spies on his beautiful college student neighbor Jin-A (Ko Sung-Hee). Jung-Hoon's life outside of work revolves around his beautiful neighbor. He has her apartment bugged with surveillance cameras and he watches her whenever he is not at work.

One evening, Jung-Hoon witnesses a horrifying event. He witnesses Jin-A being strangled to death by her former lover. Jung-Hoon becomes frozen and is unable to call the police due to his own illegal taping activities. Soon, Jung-Hoon becomes entangled with the three other men involved in the life and death of Jin-A.

Notes

Filming began July 18, 2012 in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province.
Filming finished September 3, 2012 at a studio in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul. The last scene filmed is the climatic scene in the movie involving Lee Je-Hoon, Cho Jin-Woong, Kim Tae-Hun & Moon So-Ri, as their characters gather to find out the truth.

m Jun 29 2023 4:28 am after seeing many comments, i went into this expecting it to be something on an even lower level than disappointing. but i must say it wasn't that bad?

sure, i wouldn't ever recommend this to anyone but it was bearable – of course, the personal challenge i took on seeing if this movie is really that bad was more of a motivator to finish watching it than the plot. which was very flat. somewhere from the middle you could already tell what this movie is all about and i had to sit there for another hour watching everything i already knew play out. this isn't necessarily a bad thing for a movie but when it's paired with mediocre camera directing and scenes that aren't interesting at least composition-wise...it really gets boring. yeah, but it's bearable when you're in the mood to watch a bad movie.

this just feels like the director saw park chan wook doing his revenge trilogy and was like "hey, i can do it too". the potential is kinda there? but the execution is totally not satisfying in any way. as i said, at least they could compensate for the shallow plot by making the scenes or camerawork look more interesting. the first and closing shots were actually quite impressive in how they set the mood but it's like what... half a minute of an almost 2 hour movie?

I could not finish this movie, as the momentum was multiple times cut off, and found myself forwarding more then I expected. It starts good, but then it "tries" pulp fiction style, and it just drags to much, to teh unbearable point.

And no, this is not a "Noir" movie as someone pointed out. Get your facts straight please.

Coco Feb 10 2016 6:04 am the first half is already good. the 2nd half when cho jin woong rambled to his chauffeur while hitting the bar girl was a bit weird and stupid. the ending is the most stupid part imho. its a noir film tho, what should i expect. anyway i'm watching this solely for lee je hoon & cho jin woong. like "ohh lt. park hae young & det. lee jae han finally met" LOL.
