But in my own honest opinion I wished that the foreigners weren’t part of it as their acting was off putting I had to fast forward their parts. Cate Blanchett was also brilliant as the next recruiter. It would have been great if they had chosen equally great actors as the VIPs. The VIPs should have been more interesting (someone from the fashion industry, someone from the music industry, royalty, a president, conglomerate/financier, etc - these kind of rich and powerful people have been reported to be involved in weird crazy sh*t). Even though there are a lot of inconclusive things, the ending is just realistic and makes a lot of senses. Don't watch it if you hope a happy ending like romantic genre drama. His role was unnecessary. He was so stupid that he never doubted Captain Park. All that organization with the soldier and in the end the game was over before he arrived and really his going to the island didn't change anything. There’s no plot in season 3 because everything happen in season 2. Season 3 just drama without any plot. Whoever didn’t watch season 2 and marathon season 2 and 3 together they will enjoy it. Like, what on earth did you expect? Did you watch all this violence, expecting a happy ending?? It is very expected and totally understandable that the game will always be continued. Just like what people say: you can always kill people, but you can never kill an idea. This show wasn't made to please us, but to make us disgusted by the ugly nature of ourselves as humans and how far we can go if necessary. They didn't make season 2 and 3 to stick to fans requests, stupid requests like bring Sae-byeok bakc or make a twin character that would come to find justice for her. The writer-director has a clear message and he wants to deliver it, regardless of what fans want. Some people complain because they killed most of the loved characters by episode 2. Again, what are you waiting for then? Of course the more they advance in the game, the higher their chances of dying are. Others are sad because Sung Gi-hun sacrificed for the baby. In a real life scenario, he could have sacrificed the baby, but since he entered the game to stop it, and since he was determined to stand against the Front Man and his agenda and also keep his promise to Jun-hee and prove that there are still good humans, it totally made sense that he threw himself instead. I also saw a lot of comments are for some reason pissed off by the western actors. Their characters are supposed to be obnoxious and inhumane and they were indeed obnoxious and inhumane, so what are the complains for? And I know that a lot of those complaining didn't like the fact that the ones who remained till the end are the hated old men. Does it make sense that luck always stands by you favorite characters' side? Especially in such chaotic death game? Now here's my opinion: I think this drama was perfect from the beginning till the end. It was consistent and it delivered the message in the most traumatic and cruel way possible, just as it should. I didn't find anything out of line (except that I wondered how the baby was so quiet and how they fed her and changed her diapers lol). Whatever was infuriating or unfair is just a part of the game. The game if life itself. There are terrible people, the greedy ones, the criminals, and the good ones. Bad people sometimes make it, whether you like it or not. This is the reality.
