Ko Sang-Sik is in his 40's and still single. He works as the environmental facility section chief at city hall. Ko Sang-Sik becomes involved with Kang Min-Joo. She is also in her 40's and still single. She works as a PD at a broadcasting station.

"Second To Last Love" takes over the SBS Saturday & Sunday 22:00 time slot previously occupied by "Beautiful Gong Shim" and followed by "Gogh, The Starry Night" on October 22, 2016.
Remake of 2012 Fuji TV drama series "Second To Last Love."
Yoon Doo-Joon ('B2ST') was offered the major supporting role, but declined.
Ep.1 air date has been pushed back from July 23rd to July 30th, 2016. The reason is to give actor Ji Jin-Hee time to recuperate from an injury he received while filming for the drama series.

Him NE Se Oh Feb 16 2018 3:39 am How can a drama be so happy from the first to the last episode i really liked it and what made me like it more is that all the caracters are kind furthermore there's no in-laws(that are annoying in kdrama) nore a controlling daughter the problems in the drama were original and were like real obstacles ..it doesn't deal with money Probblems, opposition of family or any of the usual problems ..... everything was so relaxing, each caracter had his time and seul gi is so cute. Kwak si yang portrays a very mature character I think he was my favourite of all second lead in kdrama since he's honest but know what he wants the only one i didnt like is the husband.

I started it today and finished it the same day. For those who are looking for a light, happy drama this is definitely the one.

I think this drama end up with anti climax, very unclear about relationship Sang Sik and Min Joo. Just live together in not just enough, marriage I think is the beautiful ending for their love. By the way actor and actress play role Sang Sik and Min Joo are very great and impressive. They play greatly with chemistry each other. I appreciate the writer behind this drama. I hope and still waiting producer continue this drama to attain the final objective of love namely happiness in legally marriage.

Malditang Bugay Oct 25 2016 10:55 am The final two episodes really had so much insight and wisdom as well as wrap-up. 20 episodes can be long for the basic one-couple-k-drama, but this one worked out well. Definitely watch, there are good things for the younger crowd as well. Overall I think this drama is great.
