Precious Jan 26 2024 8:10 am Hi I don't know what to say, my heart is in great pain and believing that their is no such thing as healing in grieving,I finally have the courage to watch hi bye mama again , the first time that I watch this series my mother was still alive and ever since then my life has change drastically and now I just got the courage to watch it again and I don't know what to feel it's really hard to lose someone you love , it feels like I can't be happy nor be sad and my life just became stagnant I really love this series it makes me feel seen that ,and petals fall but the flower endures I hope you would continue writing this kind of series it really inspire and teach us a lot of things ?

I'm from Indonesia and I wanna say thankyou so much for writing the story of samdal-ri. all of the kdrama i've watched after reply 1988 really is nothing. but this samdal-ri thing can finally replaced the reply 1988 in my heart. the story is so beautiful that makes me cry a lot on the train while watching this. thanks to you and all the casts and crew. shin hye sun and ji chang wook also succeeded to make a good chemistry. you all did a good job and i'm waiting for the next masterpiece from you all. thumbs up!!

I just finished watching welcome to samdalri, and it's really beautiful. I became curious of you and happen to be here leaving a comment, and hoping you would see this. I'm surprised to know that most of my favourite are yours and it is really well-written. You're really a great writer. I feel so lost lately and your story helps me to get through. Village life setting also added to the richness of Korean social norms . Please keep writing innocent and decent storyline to prove that you don’t need explicitly sexual or violent store to satisfy the drama viewers . Your selection of the leads and the supporting actors was also very complimentary to the success of this drama , not to mention the best cameo of my favorite beautiful actress , Kim tae hee as a model. Loved this wonderful family drama till the end. How about season number 2 ?

Jaine Dec 17 2023 1:04 pm I liked your hi bye story. Seemed wholesome. So after ep5 I am completely lost as to the theme of the new show. It is to highlight humiliating social media bullying? Is it to have drunkness brought to a whole new lower level as three grownups drink night and day to the horror and shame of their hard working mom!?! Is it to show how old friends don’t matter compared to alcohol and a shot at the local rich boy? Is it to show how bullying is in degrees depending on who is doing it? I am serious. After seeing my 2 brothers who drank non stop, both die early I just don’t get it.

The way love and grief were represented in relationships was phenomenal, and I can't imagine being the same after watching this show. It was heart-breaking but was so mature and elevating. Hi Bye, Mama! will forever be my favorite show.

Before my mother passed away she watched Hi Bye Mama. She really loved it. One day I'll be ready to watch it too.

Min Apr 24 2021 9:57 pm Hi bye mama glorifies and highlights the unfairness of life. It's depressing to watch from start to end. Why is wanting to live being greedy? Why did this writer make it seem like heaven and its workers have no compassion? Some say it would make more sense for it to end that way but does coming back to life even make sense? Since it's fiction and you have all the power to direct the story, you shouldn't have made everything unfair for Yuri.

April Housman Jul 14 2020 11:20 am I am a greiving mother. I lost my 21 yr old daughter Aug. 2018. I watched this series and it hurt so bad. The actors, the story, the details...omg. It was like someone wrote my life. I am American, but you e all hurt..we all greive..loss of a child is the worst pain. The playing on the cell phone to take your mind off hurting..that's me. All the details..it's as if who wrote the story actually felt what I feel, every day. Thank you..I cried..lord, I cried. I loved it. Thank you.

Your languge using to expres of each caracters is unbleavible. We can see how people makes mistakes to understand eachother during the happenings. By the time trawel they can findout these mistakes by their selves. But the must affected scanes are many at your works. Some are funy side of life but you discribe the meaning of being mother how is it? And also lovefull husband. Your way to tell a story is wonderfull thing that i can see by your works. Thanks a lot for your efforts, to tell this stories for us priceless.

I've watched this over and over and perhaps since i can relate to the excruciating pain of losing a mother, i burst into tears on every episodes. Thanks for also making it a simple 12 episodes. A really entertaining drama. Congrats, you just earned a fan for life.

zombie Mar 26 2018 3:22 pm i didnt past the 5th epi by the 3rd epi i started to skip a lot and when i do that inevitably i end up dumping the drama the writer must make it really dramatic by the end of each epi so people will come back for the next epi i can tell this writer is a rookie he must learn that dramas must be addictive so people will crave for the next epi i didnt feel none of this so i pulled the plug none of the epi were rated too little people watching this probably 1 or 2% and probably this drama originally was programmed for the usual 16 or 20 epi but the producers pulled the plug by the 12 epi cuz of the small audiences in my opinion i think the writer fail in the storyline it was too poor too bland this writer might not get another job cuz they live and die by the epi ratings he must know this and change his style

CarlyzCorner Nov 17 2017 8:37 pm I had to tell you how much I love “Go Back Couple”. I am addicted to Kdrama, but I think this is the first where I actually learned a life lesson. How communication and expressing the love you have for another person is so vital. In order for love to be nourished and thrive, we can’t presume that the other person knows how you feel. Verbalize and express that love often. ? for writing this drama. I am excited to experience more of your works.

Chi Nov 11 2017 5:31 pm Enjoying your work currently on air - Go Back Couple. I hope the ending will be a realistic one. . My wish Jin Soo and Ban make peace with each other BUT they both accept that their marriage will NOT work. They have divorced and just be friends for the sake of their child.

Then Jin Soo meets Nam Gil (i love Jang Ki-yong!) again in real time at the last episode then starts a real romantic relationship....that will be a happy ending!

Elle Oct 29 2017 5:55 am "Go Back Couple" is really brilliant. Kwon Hye-Joo has checked all the boxes of the complications resulting from married life in a society which doesn't enable couples to have more than an existence, because the breadwinner must spend most of his time chasing money.
