Do Bong-Fan May 12 2024 9:41 pm All I can say is, why did Ms. Baek shift from a supernatural themed romcom to a Sci-fi one.

Nam Soon and Geum Ju(the new installment to this title) both faced Japanese people who studies what was given to them by a god. We know it was given to them by a god since Do Bong Soon laid out the foundation for that with making Bong Soon lose her power and getting it back since the god that bestowed power to their lineage took pity to her plight. On the other hand, Nam Soon and Geum Ju established that its nothing but a special gene, which means Bong Soon should have turned to a goop when the god took her power in the "Strong Girl Bong Soon" title instead of just losing her superhuman strength.

Nam Soon and Geum Ju also established what we know as power dampener, a result of the Japanese's extensive research to their supernatural gifts. I don't know, Ms. Baek seems to have completely trashed the "god" from Bong Soon and decided that its a Sci-fi romcom, not a Supernatural romcom with the two other installments for the title.

Your movie and others like it, make me regret my foolish decision. Your dramatic presentation of Korean family and values is beautiful and skillful. Other movie presentations like it, may seem the normative in Korea. Here in Ohio, USA, you paint a lovely and soulful picture I am glad I can now experience.

Anonymous Feb 02 2020 5:49 am I just finished watching Melting me softly, and I can it's one of the best drama series I've watched. I don't typically get too attached to a series. But in regards to this, I can say I did. It's well written (though it may not be completely realistic) but a beautiful series none the less. I would like to say Baek Mi-Kyeong has quite impacted me (in a good way) and I really hope to see what she does in the future.

P.s just saying it would have been nice to seen a wedding at the end.

Betty Aug 19 2019 11:05 am Thanks for " This is my Love." I can't stop watching it. It was great. Since I'm American I couldn't understand a thing they were saying. But after a while it didn't matter. But thankfully the words were added. I loved everything about it except the ending. I could see where you were coming from, but they were just getting back together after being separated again and the compassion wasn't there. I will watch it several more times until hopefully soon I'll get it out of my system. I have watched it so much that I feel I know the characters. Thanks again for your thoughts that you put on paper.

Stacey Sep 09 2018 7:10 am I won't lie, her work is amazing! The amount of emotions i get everytime i watch the shows she has written, tells the audiance what a talented writer she really is. I love all her scenarios however, I've never been this frustrated at a writer to leave a comment ?. Her latest work " the miracle we met" after 14 episodes(4 more left so maybe when i finish i won't be as frustrated) left me so angry and frustrated, to the point of questioning what the hell was going on in the writers head. This scenario is so frustrating. How can you do that to Sun Hye Jin? You made her have a bad husband that abused her emotionally and belittled her. You kill him and put the other Song Hyun Chul in his place. Not to mention how rude her mother in law is to her and all she's trying to do is be strong for her kids. I mean why? Honestly why would you put one woman in so much pain and to add salt to the wound Jo Yeon Hwa had to finally believe her dead not dead husband and be so selfish and self centered. I get Yeon Hwa lost a husband and the family lost a son and a father. My problem is why did you choose to make a woman who has struggled for so long ( Sun Hye Jin) to struggle more? Why dis you make Yeon Hwa so evil to the point of her disregarding that her actions are hurting not only Hye Jin but Hye Jin's family and the dead not so dead Song hyun Chul. I love this drama but i feel like you as a Writer, was cruel towards Hye Jin. I'm not married and I've never lost a husband or been in an abusive marriage. But i couldn't help but empathize with Hye Jin. She deserves better. But there's still 4 more episodes to bing my thoughts my change after the last episode

Martha Terault Jan 11 2018 11:31 am Strong Girl Bong Soon - This show is wonderful. I laughed, cried, and felt the emotions of the characters. It was like I was in the movie with them as an observer. I live in North Carolina, USA, and there are very few American shows/movies that can compare to the way I felt when watching this series. I loved the characters and story line. I would sit on the edge of my seat hoping she would pick the Ainsoft CEO. The thugs getting beat up is hilarious. It is a great show that I could watch over and over again, just to see the love and chemistry between the two main characters. It is a great series.

Emy Dec 31 2017 7:57 pm I wish she will produce a sequel for Strong Woman Do Bong Soo. There's so much chemisty between the actors (main and supporting) that it will be such a great thing to waste. There's a lot of characters that can be developed, such as Bong Soon uncle, Ahn' family drama, Guok Doo new cases. I couldnt help thinking that the show can be like the classic western serial like " I dream of Jeanie" or a combination of with a more sombre version like "the medium"

RMJR, CA Sep 11 2016 9:15 pm Best love story I've ever seen period. Everyone in my family who saw this movie was captivated. Pure, clean movie and can be watch by an entire family. The main character Park Hyun Soo/Ji Eunho was an amazing person with his feeling of unconditional love to Eundong. The sacrifice this man had endure throughout and his wisdom was so powerful. He showed a very strong character and not of this world. Eundong a poor, gentle, kind and a humble woman out class those who consider themselves as high society. The movie has it all ...the story, great acting, beautiful actors/actresses, the theme songs was amazing and the movie editing was awesome! Its a perfect movie all around. Highly compliment the writer of this story!

Totally unfair that she had to let her son go to the jerk that took away all those years of her life and also took the real father away from the son. it doesn't matter that he was paralyzed. He caused the accident. It wasn't her fault. He should have gone to jail together with her father.

Amazing how much more I enjoyed the story the 2nd. time around. Was this story the screenwriter's original or from a book? If a book, I would love to know where to buy one? I just wish there was a sequel in the works. It would be nice to know how the relationship between the father & his son developed.

A very sensitive and caring story with an unusual but mature ending. As a Christian man who loves God, I Loved the fact it had no swearing, no sexual contact or nudity. It seems in the USA and Canada, that seems to be all we get now. Kudoes to the complete company who produced, and acted in this production.

So many similarities to God's love for His people; how He pursues them all their lives; binds up their wounds; prepares a place for them; how His children can be deceived by a lie and sometimes forget who they really are in Him; and how Jesus ultimately gives His life for those He loves that they might go free.Can it be that perhaps help the writer actually knows the truth of God's love from the Bible? It must be so.

I was happy with compassion the two leads showed to their enemys, I felt they would behave that way in their lives because they knew how to love. I hope we get to watch more drama stories from screen writer Baek Mi-Kyeong!

Shoaib Nov 01 2015 3:21 pm I loved 'My Love Yun Dong'. It's certainly is the best of dramas I have ever watched. Getting unavoidable cramps in the heart myself :D. This is really deep and brave story telling without falling to the usual cliché traps. Equally brave is the ending recognizing to have to forgive Choe Jae for his crimes against Yun Dong for the sake of Ra Il. But it's slightly wonky as well, leaving unanswered as to what assured Eun Hi that this psychotic guy won't bother Yun Dong? Despite the brave ending, I do admit that him being charged in the court would have been a fairer ending.

Lucas Stiller Sep 13 2015 11:22 am Some sad for Park Hyun Soo, 20 years of his life to finding his half and he desever more than that ending, His son Ra Il still has all the time in the cheat father and almost forget his real father who be theft his wife and his son. The first 14/16 episodes so perfect but 2 last episode make most of audience feed sad. Jae Ho very very lucky with all his action in the past. But thanks you for a beautiful love story Park Hyun Soo and Ji Eun Dong.

There were the love storie that most writers seek to attain and audiences seek to enjoy. For reasons I cannot fathom, you decided to forgo payback for the 20 year-theft of youth, love, and happiness. And don't forget that theft was every day, not just 20 years ago. A simple confession is enough? If that is so, why not empty the entire prison system of both Korea and the US with a weekly confession good feeling event. This simplistic approach left me so raw it ruined the first 14 first episodes. Payback is an necessary element of emotional release. You left me and some others just hanging there.

saran Jul 26 2015 9:15 am a very nicely written drama. You managed to rework a typically unrealistic story into a beautiful representation of love. The pace was great, sequence was effective, the detailing was spot on. Lastly what i love most was your sincere exploration of human emotional conflict without the usual over the top schemes often seen in drama just for effect. Looking forward to your future work.

Not affected by separations, passing years and dire circumstances. I'm sad that I will no longer be able to look forward for more My Love Eun Dong episodes every week. But I am so happy that you gave us viewers a happy ending. Thanks you so much for being a talented writer. Looking forward for your other dramas to come.
