Izumi Hidaka (Manami Higa) is 36-years-old and the CEO of start-up game company Pegasus Ink. Four years ago, she developed the game Love My Pegasus, which was targeted towards women and became very popular. Since then, she has been obsessed with the character Kento-soma from Love My Pegasus. Izumi Hidaka created Kento-soma from her ideal man, having the same personality and appearance. Because of Kento-soma, she has not had a boyfriend for years. Her life seems smooth, but she is always thinking about a new game production. She is also busy raising funds for the new game production.

One evening, Wataru Igarashi (Keisuke Watanabe) suddenly appears in front of drunken Izumi Hidaka. She is shocked by Wataru Igarashi’s appearance, which is just like game character Kento-soma. Wataru Igarashi is a 23-years-old man. He was being chased by a debt collector and he jumped from a pedestrian overpass to avoid the debt collector. This is when he met Izumi Hidaka. But, Izumi Hidaka is disappointed with Wataru Igarashi. Except for his physical appearance, he is nothing like her game character Kento-soma. Wataru Igarashi is ill-mannered, uncultured, and lethargic. Soon, Izumi Hidaka becomes determined to make Wataru Igarashi just like her game character Kento-soma, which is her ideal man.

Grandmalee Nov 14 2021 4:16 pm Hard to imagine the company can be a successful one under its president (played by Manami Higa) and vice-president (played by Dean Fujioka). It is a child-like, girlish fixation on the prince character created for the company's video game that leads to her affection for Wataru Igarashi (played by Keisuke Watanabe). It's her personal choice to let him (young, homeless, and jobless) stay in her apartment, but what justification does she have for hiring him on company payroll when he is clearly ignorant of everything the company does? He doesn't even qualify as a trainee in the proper sense of the word. The scene in which she can't answer a question from the president of the larger company (not sure about their corporate relationship) is awkward, not because she doesn't know the answer but because it's simply impossible for her not to find things to say at all. Even if she is not involved in the development of the particular project, she, as president, should still know enough to have something to say. And she subsequently resigns because of this! (So, there's a double joke here, but it's not funny.) The vice-president certainly has had his heart for her for, who knows, how many years, but he hasn't made a move to let her know!! What is his problem? The leadership being such, it's already unbelievable good fortune that the company has survived. Script writers need to work on character development more closely so as not to dish out shallow nonsense like that as entertainment.
