Mamoru Hyoga (Noriko Eguchi) is the CEO of Three Star Books. She was born into a wealthy family and has never experienced money problems. While she is successful with her job, she is lonely and holds sadness over the deaths of her parents when she was a child. Mamoru Hyoga has close friend Ryo Ichinose. He is the only one who she can talk to about anything. Mamoru Hyoga also started Three Star Books with Ryo Ichinose and they still work together. Meanwhile, Mamoru Hyoga gets involved with Yu Haruno (Eiji Akaso), who is much younger than her.

Yu Haruno is a vocational school student. He has a loving family, that includes his parents and a younger sister. His parents financial situation is not very good though. While studying, he works part-time to support himself. He then applies for an intern job at Three Star Books.

Eight Jan 03 2022 7:18 pm I was wrong to think that these series is a bl drama because of the two great actirs in cherry magic. I pass. Love Machida Keita and Akaso Eiji. Hating each other in this drama really saddened me. I pass. Hope Machida and Akaso have another heartwarming bl series. Their looks really good together and seems very well suits each other. Their chemistry seems good and can be much more stronger.

Hari S Dec 13 2021 11:06 am Honestly my expectation to this drama is too high since the 2 great actors in cherry magic would be paired up again in this drama. I was thrilled knowing they were gonna hate each other in this drama. But the plot really disappoints me. The conflicts in this drama didn't go deeper, it seems every problem can be solved easily, not intriguing. And the romance was a bit boring, not as heartwarming as one in cherry magic. However, their acting skills are very excellent, the roles they played looked so natural. The scene I like best so far is in episode 5 when Yuu was borrowing money from Miyamura. It really broke my heart.
