Seong Gi-Hun (Lee Jung-Jae) is returned to the players dormitory by the Pink Guards, but he is baffled by the actions of the Front Man (Lee Byung-Hun). He is also haunted by the loss of his closest ally Park Jung-Bae (Lee Seo-Hwan) and is even more determined to end the Squid Game once and for all. Meanwhile, the Front Man makes his prepares for the fourth game, which is possibly the bloodiest game yet. VIP's are soon to arrive on the island where the games are held. On the periphery of the Squid Game, Detective Hwang Jun-Ho (Wi Ha-Joon) and his partners race against the clock to locate the mysterious island where the games are held. Within the ranks of masked officers working the games, Kang No-Eul (Park Gyu-Young) risks her life to save player Park Gyeong-Seok (Lee Jin-Uk).

But in my own honest opinion I wished that the foreigners weren’t part of it as their acting was off putting I had to fast forward their parts. Hmm idk about that ending not sure if I’ll watch a 4th??

EN Jul 20 2025 8:25 am Wow. Im Si Wan. He was stunning in his last scenes - the best piece of acting in the show. Cate Blanchett was also brilliant as the next recruiter. It would have been great if they had chosen equally great actors as the VIPs. The VIPs should have been more interesting (someone from the fashion industry, someone from the music industry, royalty, a president, conglomerate/financier, etc - these kind of rich and powerful people have been reported to be involved in weird crazy sh*t). Otherwise Season 3 was very good. But Season 2 and 3 should have been 1 season with no gap in between.

Even though there are a lot of inconclusive things, the ending is just realistic and makes a lot of senses. Don't watch it if you hope a happy ending like romantic genre drama. But I agree with the VIPs roles here LOL nothing's wrong with their actings and characters, it's just their dialogues are so strange

Suela Jun 30 2025 1:25 pm When soldier no.11 {Kang No-Eul} didn't commit suicide, I was thinking she would do something against the game, she would fight or gather evidence to make public. But she just walked away and continued her life as if nothing had happened. Her role was meaningless.

All that organization with the soldier and in the end the game was over before he arrived and really his going to the island didn't change anything. The ending of this series was more disappointing than Game of Thrones.

Nzm Jun 29 2025 7:44 pm Disappointment. They should not cut season 2 and make it season 3. There’s no plot in season 3 because everything happen in season 2. Season 3 just drama without any plot. Whoever didn’t watch season 2 and marathon season 2 and 3 together they will enjoy it. But whoever just watching Season 3, urgh it’s utter disappointment.

Jjoo Jun 29 2025 7:11 am I'm shocked by the amount of people who are disappointed with this season. Like, what on earth did you expect? Did you watch all this violence, expecting a happy ending?? It is very expected and totally understandable that the game will always be continued. Just like what people say: you can always kill people, but you can never kill an idea. This show wasn't made to please us, but to make us disgusted by the ugly nature of ourselves as humans and how far we can go if necessary. They didn't make season 2 and 3 to stick to fans requests, stupid requests like bring Sae-byeok bakc or make a twin character that would come to find justice for her. The writer-director has a clear message and he wants to deliver it, regardless of what fans want.

Some people complain because they killed most of the loved characters by episode 2. Again, what are you waiting for then? Of course the more they advance in the game, the higher their chances of dying are. Others are sad because Sung Gi-hun sacrificed for the baby. In a real life scenario, he could have sacrificed the baby, but since he entered the game to stop it, and since he was determined to stand against the Front Man and his agenda and also keep his promise to Jun-hee and prove that there are still good humans, it totally made sense that he threw himself instead. I also saw a lot of comments are for some reason pissed off by the western actors. Their characters are supposed to be obnoxious and inhumane and they were indeed obnoxious and inhumane, so what are the complains for? And I know that a lot of those complaining didn't like the fact that the ones who remained till the end are the hated old men. Does it make sense that luck always stands by you favorite characters' side? Especially in such chaotic death game?

Now here's my opinion: I think this drama was perfect from the beginning till the end. It was consistent and it delivered the message in the most traumatic and cruel way possible, just as it should. I didn't find anything out of line (except that I wondered how the baby was so quiet and how they fed her and changed her diapers lol). Whatever was infuriating or unfair is just a part of the game. The game if life itself. There are terrible people, the greedy ones, the criminals, and the good ones. Bad people sometimes make it, whether you like it or not. This is the reality.

And we would have thought that 456 was gonna be new frontman, but the director might want us see that the frontman chose during his final exam was a wrong choice. I would like to see how the Oh Il Name (player 001 in S1) started the trend of the game, and frontman squid game during his era. Please show us !

Like the first 2~3 eps were meh okay I guess, but eps 5-6 What In The Hell Was That. The whole baby is a player and don’t even get me started on that last game the whole script of them deciding who they should kill was Ridiculous. Hours of my life I’ll never get back. I honestly could write an essay about how bad, stupid and utterly ridiculous this season was but after binge watching that shit I’m drained, I skipped most of the last two eps and watched it sped up and it still took too long to end…
