I just finished Misaeng Thank you for Misaeng. Your direction is very real and honest.

Even though I usually like light dramas, this one made me stay and watch until the end. You showed office life in a very detailed and emotional way.

Every scene feels natural and meaningful. I learned a lot about work, patience, and life.

You did an amazing job. I need season 2 please Please stay healthy and keep making great dramas like this.

The story, the chosen setting and the cherry on the cake, the extraordinary performances by all the artists. In my 70 years of life I feel the greatness of emotions (some already forgotten) that this excellent director operated in my already weak heart. Thank you very much Kim Won-Suk. Nancy Apr 13 2021 8:10 pm I just finished watching Sungkyunkwan Scandal. I trully enjoyed this piece especially the chemistry of the "quartet". It was very refreshing and bring back memories of being a student :)

Would be great if another project will reunite these "quartet" . Then we will again be entertained how they evolved in honing their craft of acting and also the chemistry they had.

Norik Baboorian Sep 23 2020 9:32 pm The 4 outstanding dramas of this director happen to be favorites , as an amazing time piece, Arthdal chronicles, over the top drama is my mister , mesaeng and signal are totally outstanding . He is able to push the actors to their extreme, continues activities, no sharp cuts within the scenes, buildup of character development, focusing on tiny important information in the plot to keep your interest , just overall great directing . Bravo

It is written by the the geniuses behind A Jewel in the Palace and Joint Security. Plus, the director is the one who helmed My Mister and Misaeng... Now, I'm definitely gonna watch this drama!

And the trifecta of greatness (My Mister, Signal, and Misaeng), simply awesome. Now I need to watch Monstar, The Partner and The Great King Sejong to fully appreciate what a great director you are.

kiki May 17 2018 7:44 pm i love signal it's the best drama i've ever seen, been waiting for your next project after that and knowing u directed My Mister made me eager to watch it. I had high expectation but didn't have any idea what will a drama with an ahjussi and a young woman will be about? then I saw the writer is oh ha young's writer, so I thought it will be a cute loveydovey drama like Goblin. THENNNNN i watch and MY HEART I CRY A RIVER, it's nothing like goblin or any drama i've ever seen T_T it's exceed my expectation, a very heartwarming (but also heartbreaking) story about life, work, family T_T its not a romance drama but you can feel all the love & chemistry between the leads. BEST drama of 2018 i can say that i don't think there will be no other new upcoming drama can compare to this! BEST directing, writing & best cast!!!!! all of you should get all awards!!! congrats for always creating masterpieces. will wait for your next drama!!!! LOVEEEE <3

Misaeng, Signal, My Mister are all AMAZING dramas!! Even Sungkyunkwan Scandal, I remember watching it a while back. Those top three however are pure gold. Brilliant directing!!

Daebakkkkk all of them are daebakkk.. And what I notice from your character when directed the drama is you often use narrated as your explanation in drama. And from that narrated there are so many good quote:))

Sam Mar 07 2016 6:19 pm Probably the best director I've ever seen. He's very strict especially with how the right emotions should be shown by the actors. He handles everything with consistency. I will not be surprised if his drama takes home all the awards in Baeksang this year.

m92 Jan 01 2016 9:07 am based on his filmography, i must admit that he is truly versatile director. I love most of his dramas. Most of it are brilliantly executed according to its genre. Historical, musical, thriller, drama. He is truly talented.

beow Jun 19 2015 11:16 pm ilysm for giving us misaeng, i really do. His style of directing must have changed after sungkyunkwan scandal because while monstar and misaeng have that quiet-ish, kinda shaky-ish, great musical timing kind of directing, sungkrunkwan scandal really bored me. I didn't know it was him for monstar but now i realized the similar filming style.I love monstar as well, althoguh not as much as misaeng.
