daidokoro Oct 02 2022 3:06 pm Versatility is the word for Michieda Shunsuke's acting skill -- from the complex, sweethearted boy in 'Haha Ni Naru' to the frightening teen psychopath in 'Zetto' to the emotionally mercurial preppy in 'Ore No Sukatto' to the sexually confused, comedic darling in 'Vanishing Love', it seems he can do anything. His gift is his face, which can express any emotion magically -- even contradictory emotions, like the veiled menace in Zetto's obliging smile. Is he also the most beautiful boy on Earth? Or should I say, 'was he?' because he is now a very handsome young man! Between his acting and the other 'Idol' thing, his workaholism is a gift to us.

Crescent Aug 04 2022 10:03 am Don’t be fooled by his looks, Michieda is a very good actor. He started very young and though was not very good in his debut Haha hi Naru, he quickly picked up and within a couple of years managed to become a good actor. His talent and skills are frequently underestimated.

He is also a decent singer. Check out his solo. He also performed a good piece with his fellow actor in 461 Days of Bento.

He is a little low-key in Naniwa’s varieties (the idol group he belongs to) but has made conscious improvements recently. Could be that previously he had been extremely busy because of how much work was thrown to him. He is still super busy.

I think his looks has just past it’s peak (side effect of overwork?) but he still looks great in photoshoots.

Best Aoki they can come up with.

After watching his dramas and movies, I can wholeheartedly acknowledge that he is a good actor: versatile and can pull off any role he is given. I hope he gets more opportunities to act in productions because he has a lot of potential. Also, I started watching his shows with Naniwa Danshi and he is incredibly adorable, endearingly clumsy and kind.
