Hajime Kindaichi (Shunsuke Michieda) is a high school student and a private detective with an IQ of 180. He solves murder cases that are riddled with difficult clues. Hajime Kindaichi works with his childhood friend Miyuki Nanase and Isamu Kenmochi. Isamu Kenmochi is now the chief inspector of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.

in manga kindaichi supposed to have long hair, short and brown skin (ainu features) but this new kindaichi only same as his hair but too tall for kindaichi

kindaichi in manga is 165cm and this actor is 180cm. miyuki in manga is 157cm and this actress is 164cm Kenmochi has similar height which is 183 in manga and this actor is 184cm

i don't have problem with saki because he is same as manga depiction

Chiaki Nov 09 2022 7:59 am I thought he's too cute to be Kindaichi since Kindaichi looks dumb yet genius. However his acting is really convincing, not stiff at all. I'm glad his perverted side doesn't show up and his relationship w/ Mizuki absolutely similar to childhood friends.

And we have the cutest Saki~ (>///<) His acting really goes w/ the flow, not touching his glasses just to show that he's smart and megane character. I totally hate it when megane character is bothering too much w/ their glasses. Saki makes the dynamics into trio, if you count Kindaichi-Miyuki is a duo. Kindaichi is solo mostly.

Ikki Sawamura is too handsome to be Kenmochi and I think he changed his voice a little bit deeper to sound like ossan? He's handsome old man.

Miyuki is Miyuki, Idk what to say. She's good actress and I watched all episodes in 2-3 days. Wishing for another season+movie~ (^0^)/
