Korean foreign exchange student Kim Yong-Dong (Seung-Ri) studies in Hong Kong and works part-time at a hotel. A murder then takes place in the hotel and Kim Yong-Dong is the prime suspect. Hajime Kindaichi (Ryosuke Yamada) works to uncover the truth.

Noname-chan Jun 10 2015 1:33 am Actually if you watch carefully some of the foreign characters voice are dubbed (possibly by japanese dubber) that is why wu chun japanese sounds so good but the lips movement didnt match the voice at all lol. Clever. But I am surprised that no one realizes haha.

Anyway, Doumoto version of Kindaichi still best

king Jan 24 2015 9:50 pm A lot of idol and talented actors play in this movie. Good to see Mizuta Kouki is alive and he is not the killer.. I was impressed with Chun Wu' japanese language, so fluent. Never disappointed with kenta kiritani's acting. And the rest play good role too..

Or the fact that those three men were her brothers. I didn't expect Eric Tsang too! Sugoi detective movie, I loved it! :D

Anne Feb 18 2014 10:31 pm It's a good movie, really. My first hunch is my baby Seungri's the culprit because of how he reacts in every situation. lol. Then I suspected Bryon next which is Wu Chun because he seems to fit one. Ok, me and my weird guesses. But when Kindaichi finally tells them his findings, ha! I finally know who. Ok, SR please have more lines next time. I want to see you more in the frame.

Yuli Feb 18 2014 10:26 pm I just watched this yesterday because I'm too curious about Seungri's acting in here. Definitely a good movie! This is now on my list of favorite mystery/detective movies. Yamada is so funny and cute at the same time here. As for Wu Chun, his Japanese is good even Seungri's short lines of Chinese amused me.
