Kathy May 27 2026 3:20 am I am a fan of Cha Eun-Woo because I’m truly impressed by his acting. I used to have a biased perception about idols turning into actors, and I often judged them as not being that good in acting. But changed that belief for me.

Yes, he may not be as impressive as Kim Soo-hyun yet, but he is definitely a good actor. He plays his characters effectively and makes them feel realistic. From My ID is Gangnam Beauty to Wonderful World, which I watched more than once, I can honestly say he is good at what he does.

Maybe because of his unreal visuals, some people overlook his acting skills, but he is truly a multi-talented guy. Perfection is not necessary as long as you stay humble and continue striving to become a better version of yourself every day. That is Cha Eun-woo for me.

Unforgettable drama. I watched while a hurricane was brewing outside and we couldn't go anywhere. Even my two sons watched with me and enjoyed it. :)

This time, I really love how Cha Eun Woo perfectly portrayed Lee Soo Ho, and so did the main casts. Cha Eun Woo did great job in the drama. It's like Lee Soo Ho is Cha Eun Woo itself. LoL Thanks Cha Eun Woo you really make Lee Soo Ho's character so vividly!! After watching your drama, when I read the webtoon again what I imagine is YOU. I really looking forward to watch your next projects. You already have a talent as an actor, and I hope you're not stop developing your acting. I'm sure you can be an A list actor in the future. - after watching True Beaty drama version, I'm sure the webtoon ending will be the same like the drama. Im Ju Kyung will be with Lee Soo Ho. Though so many pros and cons out there about the webtoon and drama version, I dont really care. Logically, the PD had to have the agreement with the author how the ending will be. If I were the author, I wont bother if there are changes between the drama and webtoon, but changes to the ending??? No, i want the ending based on my version.

But I think a subtle character best highlights his looks and charms, I dunno among his roles til now in series such as My ID is Gangnam Beauty True Beauty was very impactful. RAZ Jan 11 2021 1:17 pm I first saw Cha Eun Woo act in the drama "The Best Hit" aka "Hit The Top". I was so impressed by his acting, that while I was waiting for the next week's episode to be released; I watched his pre-debut webtoon "To Be Continued" and fell in love with ASTRO music and became OT6.

I still think that Cha Eun Woo's character (MJ) in The Best Hit is my favorite of all of his characters, although I love him in all of his dramas. Even though it is his first role in a Drama it shows him at his most lovable.

I had to laugh at Moona's post on True Beauty page that said Cha Eun Woo's MJ character is more like Han Seo Joon and Hwang In Yeop in real life is more like Lee Suho. I don't know about Hwang In Yeop in real life; but I am sure that Cha Eun Woo also could have played the character of Han Seo Joon, because it is true that he gives off similar vibes to Cha Eun Woo's MJ character.

I've been watching a lot of Netflix shows lately because of quarantine so I've only recently discovered cha eun woo in Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung by chance while streaming Netflix. What I found was an amusing and charming character played by a stunningly good looking young man. Certainly I was struck by his looks but it was in combination with his characters warmth, comic ability, intelligence and an odd sort of genuineness. Since I couldn't find him in anything else on Netflix I looked him up and discovered much about him. He appears to embody all of those qualities and more. He's quite special. Lucky Korea.

This was my first series experience with Korean film making, and enjoyed it very much. Asian mannerisms are interesting, and I like to observe the cultural differences, and listen to the differences in the spoken words in the language. Although there are some aspects of this series that were a puzzle (humor used in serious situations, bubbles in visual scenes, slapstick scene that seem out of context) The first episodes seemed odd, but as the story progressed, I did get hooked, which is not an unusual occurrence with a series, as the actors become more familiar with their character, and play it much better, and the writing becomes more refined and cohesive. As usual, the ending was anticlimactically constructed, which I have noticed seems to exist in all multi serial stories, and even so in novels. It seem to be very hard to tie up all the complicated strings to a satisfactory end. The acting was very well executed by all the members of the cast. The wardrobe was exceptional. The emotions played by the two stars was extremely well done, and I note that Asian Actors are extremely good at deep sadness and expressing heart wrenching emotion. Their ability to produce tears is exceptional. I must say that all the acting crew were exceptionally good looking, and of course the leading actors were all over the moon beautiful. I appreciate the story line of restrained emotions, yet the emotions were conveyed for sure. The scene where the prince drew a sword to threaten a guard officer was an artful show of strength and fighting skill on the part of the prince, which you had not seen before, except maybe when he had the smallpox vaccine tried on him first. There was true romance between the leading characters,(and minor characters as well) without the use of nudity or rude sex as is often present in American movies, where the romance aspect is completely shattered by over displaying physical interaction.
