Six people joined hands with the monstrous K aka Mathew Lee (Uhm Ki-Joon) to betray Min Do-Kyuk (Lee Joon). Their reward was to live a life of wealth and riches, but they realize that they are now slaves to Mathew Lee.

After the explosion on the helipad, Min Do-hyuk was on the brink of death and fell into a coma. With the help of Kang Ki-Tak (Yoon Tae-Young), Min Do-Hyk is finally able recover and open his eyes. He begins his plan to seek vengeance upon Matthew Lee. He also receives help from a mysterious person known as Medusa. Meanwhile, Matthew Lee now has his sights set on the takeover of the Sungchan Group as the last step in his revenge plot.

As the lives of these seven are resurrected, a new dangerous game of survival takes place.

8.5/10 Naikymomo Aug 22 2024 2:25 am A series of roller coster ride. A very eye-awakening drama. You Wont Get Bored!

The plot twist, actings, hint of emotional distress, character relation and development were all top tier. Ive always been a fan of drama like penthouse and sky castle thus this one is perfect for me.

Not budging on the fact thst too many people died and also some were a big too fictitious though but i love the thrill regardless :))

Min do hyuk & mone May 24 2024 10:26 am It's was really too good and worthy but I was not satisfied with the ending the moment min do hyuk was shooted by k we did not get to see how he recovered instead the scene was shown when he was ceo. And at the end we get to see mone and Hannah that was gave relieve but why didn't mone got into relationship with min do hyuk they secretly liked each other they could live together with Hannah that's how this drama could satisfy me..

However all did really well..had a great time watching it and I'm gonna re watch it again whenever I starts to miss them

Medusa May 24 2024 1:32 am After real death of geum la hui the story became flat and nonsense... sorry i was actually a big fan of this series, but how can the drama survive without the female lead? i still don't understand why they make a big fuss about medusa at first and then kill her off so fast so anticlimatic... anyway the sudden change in the 7 is already abit unbelievable. if u tell someone who watch season 1 only that the 7 have a happy ending i dont think they will believe. they committed too big sins to be forgiven this easily. director wants to make it a warm show and ending - if so they should have build it up better make the characters more likeable from the start, what they did to dami and many others are just too cruel and deep impression for me to forgive them in s2. they become good characters but more unlikable than them being villains imo.. they should just let them be villains to the end and punish them. why s2 matthew become so weak and fragile and dumb haha so funny esp with the stupid hairstyle oops.. also how is kang kitak dami real father (tho i sorta guessed it) when KKT dont have heart disease but dami have? where she get it from? and why grandpa bang never do dna test when lahui bring dami back? also KKT should hate the 7 or 6 for what they did to dami but he forgive them and even protect them - the only person he actually killed was chansung when chansung never do anything bad directly to dami? and kitak saved mone.. who hurt dami n lahui the most. plus why chansung dead body moving by itself when matthew at his house hahahha also i saw theory that min do hyuk died during the crazy shooting of matthew in last ep? that scene was cut abit abruptly and weirdly, why nam chul woo got shot only? min do hyuk was standing right at the front but didnt get shot? but i saw making and last time trailers do hyuk was shot i think and prosecutor told matthew dohyuk died already. what if he really died and everything after is all just an delusion. lol quite badly written if thats the case, so ambiguous that make me feel like i wasted my time watching. i really enjoyed when lahui was around she made the drama alive. too bad they removed her and never even give her flashbacks / a proper closure? they focused way too much on unnecessary stuff afterwards. abit unrealistic and all over the place. what a waste of actors skills. anyway i followed the series closely since s1 and i have to say i still had fun watching it for the ridiculous parts hahaha

Everyone asking why the villain get happy ending.. because they have sincerely admit their sin and try to fix the mistake the Made in the past... Everyone needs 2nd chance... Why we stop bad people to come back to their sense like geum la hui and others?

-They killed off the La Hui character way too early, she was the heart of the drama. They made the same mistake with Eugene’s character in Penthouse. -Dami should have been the resurrection in the title, imagine if she had been brainwashed by Matthew and came back evil? So many possibilities. -One too many psychopaths, and Matthew was just Ju Dan Te from Penthouse with a Moe Howard haircut. They should have given him his own voice.

Its like watching Penthouse all over again with some of the actors present, same villain- actor, same plot story of rich people wanting more with egoistic need to have power, poor and weak being stomped on. Korean drama losing its quality and ending a story is another thing that Kdrama writers should improve.

Marsha May 12 2024 5:58 am The drama is turn from revenge to politics, and maybe K want to be president, how can rich entrepreneur can control government and put YJM who don't have basic politics to suddenly become chief in politics, sorry for not understand politics but this kind a strange, although they have many scandal but can win in politics, know it still revenge but don't know why it is not feel like that because the drama like turn into different drama, the plot twist and drastic change make the drama not focus from the original reason why they want to revenge, if just look at the season before what their do is unforgiven but if just look this season they become suddenly good and touching with their drastic change, know it is just fiction but maybe because the change is way to suddenly and drastic, the rating become like that, the scene and the acting is very good but the story is too over, look it just for fun, not comedic theme but feel like that.

Marsha May 12 2024 5:33 am The same thing about K and MDH is they are not care about their father, K is obsessed with Sim Yong or MDH father although he has good father who switch him for his health, safety, and become rich but he order his royal father to sacrifice himself. MDH is to care and just want revenge for his past family who is not related to him, but not too care about Sim Yong or his father. And the romance is too force between them, it is good if they just become friends or partner. NCW like GMJ before and not like CJR, YJM just like NPH, MDH not like HMN but it twist opposite just to add romance to make the story interesting, the first season is way much better than this.

You don’t hurt bully and kill and get away from the karmic reaction! It does not work like that in our realms! What do the writers want to show How AI will take over the Workd through this story line? It’s already happening,our blood,DNA,chats,messages are all in an argorithim that continues to collect personal Data from humans.How can we iliminate a destructive force such as this from taking over the world or a nation? Let’s see how this story enfolds because honestly it’s showing that evil foes win.Oh and please don’t masked one of those stupid endings because there is a lot of unexplained events in the story that yet does not make sense!

It really look dumb to me bcos she didn't deserve it. It would have been better if she felt remorseful for what happened to Dami and Song ji A bcos she is responsible for their death. She didn't even repent like Geum La hui or maybe I missed that part. I'm really disappointed in this movie It a revenge movie turned to romance. Mtcheew. The writer and plot is :) The cast's acting is too good. I cried so much for JinMo and MyeongJi. I really hope the writer lets them live and have a happy ending!

This show has completely altered course, probably due to ratings. It’s no longer about punishment for a group of sociopathic monsters, it’s now about 7 (er, make that 5) heroes fighting against a duo of evil psychopaths. Not boring, but a disappointing change for anyone that wanted final justice for Da-Mi.

even if mone did bad things, her complex character makes her my favourite. She is consistent in her selfishness and her intentions to protect her mother despite everything makes her character interesting, though it does not justify what she did to dami. But that is what I like about her, she knows what she did was bad and never once lied or denied her cruelty (im not talking about her celebrity persona). Her character is true to herself.

Though the whole drama is trash, I have to commend Lee yoobi's acting and visuals and her chemistry with Lee joon is what makes me come back for more despite terrible to the point of ridiculous writing

I am also upset about Yang Jin-Mo and Go Myoung-Ji. Like what are they doing??Jin-Mo don't know what to do and he himself don't know he is on whose side..... I wish to see Hannah doing something as she was saved by bang da mi after her birth...at this point I don't even know which seven are to be killed in the end? Also he was the one who gave the name booble to da mi. so, he needs to be equally blamed. but ki-tak is the only person who didn't did anything wrong. when his love (Geum La-Hui) was not on the right side he didn't even did something bad, but do hyuk is still having feelings for mo ne even though she was the one who caused trouble about do mi and just to kill da mi's mother', in that fire do hyuk's brother and mother were killed. I don’t care what others say, it’s entertaining unpredictable (tooo unpredictable) and no boring scenes. I agree it’s too illogical so many plot holes lol but I started to give up questioning the plot holes n just have fun watching it.. I even channeled into writers mindset and actually made theories that happened .. (Geum lahui = medusa, dami dad = Kang ki Tak etc) but tbh I can’t confirm it’s true until it ends lol anything can still happen.. I am not going to trust what I see for now I’m ready for that plot twist. I’m not in the right mind lol what did this drama do to me that other dramas are not fun to watch anymore haha Side track, I dislike mone and even more dislike min dohyuk for falling for mone and being so biased n blinded… I rooting for geum la hui and kang ki tak more.. I starting to like Geum la hui more n more she is stronger, more determined and smarter. I’m glad she somehow become the avenger in this season tho again doesn’t make sense for someone to change 180 degree but doesn’t matter geum la hui fighting! Punish them all excited to see K vs Medusa.. Btw K became so weak this season I wonder if it’s still same person esp with that stupid hairstyle. It’s like all characters changed so much n sometimes I’m expecting they might suddenly remove the silicone mask and reveal another character underneath haha I’m crazy

First few episodes of the first season were promising, it went downhill after the Characters got off the island.

I thought season two would be better, but it turns out to be an utter disappointment.

There are only 5 more episodes to air as of this writing but until now, the drama doesn't have any direction. It's plot twist after plot twist after plot twist.

I suppose a good cast could not redeem a bad story afterall

Nana Apr 18 2024 7:36 am Okayyy. After reading all the recent comments regrds to s2, I decided to discontinued watching this show. I'm actually in ep 14 of s1, still in hope for a better scene. But ended up disappointed after. I'm not an anti fan of Uhm Ki-joon, but her acting in this drama is somewhat awkward and unrealistic like that laugh of his. It's so fake. He's way more better to watch at The Penthouse. One more thing, they should've focus lore on Dami's story. All that twists doesn't make any sense and doesn't make the drama well.

So min dyuk who’s supposed to get revenge for dami is falling in love with Han mone… instead of being bright enough to use the save guy with giving him what he wants he just decided to make a new powerful enemy just for han mone?? We are somehow supposed to root for their romance, is the writer taking a piss.. like we are just supposed to forgot all the wrong Han mone has done just cause she lost her mum?? She deserves a relationship with the abusive guy so she goes through some actual pain at least

Also season 1 Geum La Hui is all for herself and the money, killing attempt on her grandfather and suddenly season 2 a plottwist she is now not for the money but stepping up to take revenge. Common who believes this BS.

Its also going over the top with now taking over the car in ep5, still waiting for aliens to join the battle.
