Private Detective Yonemoto (Jiro Sato) has been brutally stabbed to death. He was a person depicted by some as better dead than alive. Yonemoto's ex-colleague Satake (Hidetoshi Nishijima) and Satake's assistant Satoko (Hikari Mitsushima) begin to investigate the murder case by request. While investigating the murder case, they stumble upon a newborn baby kidnapping case that took place 9 years ago.
