Jeong Seo-Yeon (Cho Yeo-Jeong) happens to get 9.9 Billion won ($9 million USD) and she fights against the world. Jeong Seo-Yeon and her family suffered from violence by her father. She left their home and started a new life with an affectionate man, but her happy life ended. She struggles to look for happiness in her life.

Kang Tae-Woo is an ex-detective. He attempts to reveal the truth behind the death of his younger sibling.

Park Min Jun 06 2023 12:20 pm Good concept, nice first episode and a decent selection of cast. However, for a thriller/mystery drama, the writing was unbelievably moronic to the nth degree. Blatantly mocking the viewers every step of the way. Every minute decision was deliberately stirred away from any sense of reason for the least optimal result possible. It even failed to deliver something with its climax, the whole last few episodes were the weakest in general.

Babarimen May 14 2020 1:04 am This drama also has a problem just like another thriller Korean dramas, they made a solid story line and then they abruptly added consciousness into the character near the end of episodes and that's is a the biggest mistake and climax killer. You full sending at the start but you hard breaking near the end? dumb decision.

wayer May 08 2020 2:27 pm at start it was ambitious and i am so rooting for Seoyeon to get the money and live a new life. at the middle i'm starting to question why she is so fixated on the money after been through many obstacles, plus people keep offering her way out. towards the end, i can't help but feel sorry for madam yoon having a friend like this. the drama does have elegant feels though, and the acting are top notch. it's just the storyline that went a bit downhill along the way...

Shairli Mar 30 2020 12:37 am So intriguing from the start that you just wanted to continue watching expecting what's going to happen next. However the ending is not to my satisfaction.. estupido! (so most of the characters too) Just shoot the glass panel & let him fall & die tragically...

Nevertheless both lead actors never let me down. Bravo to all actors too! Such a pity great ensemble of cast but weak storyline.

Del Feb 07 2020 2:30 am Love this drama soooo much. Even some part i can't understand, because the plot a little bit heavy.. But, their acting really great. I love kang tae woo so muuuuch, he's cool but really care when he's with seo yeon.. tbh, i need more romantic scene between tae woo and seo yeon, i ship them. The ending is happy ending, but its much better if tae woo and seo yeon living together in tahiti. But, overall this is good drama. U must watch. Recommended!

The fake cop is tricked and spyed by the stupid violent husband and the wife don't know what to do with the money. Why complicating things with money laundering and stupid things like that ? Just use it and live your life quietly. Damn it's not that hard. Everyone is so stupid in this drama.

It was 'now you see it, now you don't for the last 4 episodes, with Seo yeon getting everyone in trouble for her, mostly the guys?? The new twist emerges with the 'collaboration' of Leon & Seo Yeon meeting Lee Jaehun & Yoon Heejoo. So looking forward to the next episode.

CYJ and KKW are good actors and i can't wait for the next one! it's torture to wait for another week of action & suspense! i wondered though with 32 epis and we're just in the 20s what else is gg to happen for another 12 more epis bc ev.thing that's transpiring lately seems to be the end of the subject which is money! (oopps sorry is this spoiler)

I want jung seo yeon, baek seung jae , kang tae woo to live and happy in the end waiting for next episode is so frustrating I want to watch the whole in one take.. Kim kang woo is sooo cool and handsome why I known him only in this drama he's sooo great

You don't know what they are thinking from what they are saying and when they are talking with each other it's so mesmerising to watch. Not sure if it's hate, care, love, friendship,envy, spite or a mixture of everything but it works so well.

And to continue "She left that home and started an affair with another psychopath". And "She left that home to defend herself against psychopaths". This drama is ridiculous but exciting to watch.
