Ahn Hae-Sun (Yoo Da-In) works as a nurse at a dental clinic. She becomes pregnant. Neither her husband (Kim Min-Soo) nor her boss Dentist Wang (Kim Byung-Choon) are happy about her pregnancy.
Ahn Hae-Sun's husband is not happy about her pregnancy due to financial problems. Dentist Wang does not like her pregnancy due to potential inconvenience at his workplace. Ahn Hae-Sun decides to quit her job. She waits for her final paycheck of 1.3 million won ($1,200 USD), but she does not receive it. Ahn Hae-Sun reports the issue to the labor office, but she learns that Dentist Wang is suing her. Ahn Hae-Sun feels all alone, but with the help of Lawyer Kwak (Lee Jae-Won) whom she happened to meet, she goes to court to defend herself.
