Haruko Abe (Emi Takei) received her meteorologist license at the age of 11. She is a genius weatherwoman. Haruko now works as a meteorologist on a morning information program. Due to her incredibly blunt personality, a lot of people at her workplace dislikes her. Meanwhile, Haruko tries to solve cases with Detective Gota Aoki (Tadayoshi Okura), using her extensive knowledge of the weather.

Reya Oct 09 2016 7:40 pm Watched it for Emi, but stayed for Okura. The crimes and cases they dealt with were not all that interesting compared to other crime dramas I've watched, but this was a different take (solving crimes based on weather) on the genre so it was okay for what it was. I've seen Emi in a lot of cutesy roles so this was the first time watching her in something completely opposite. She has a lot of potential so I hope she can do more gritty roles in the future.

ace Jan 21 2015 1:59 pm Emi Takei plays the enigmatic Otenki Onee-san. With her black rain poncho, riding her bike equipped with her trademark anemometer on the handlebars, she cuts quite a figure as she rides around the city solving weather related crimes. Looks like she rode right out of a great manga. She doesn't have to act a lot. Mostly just deadpan delivery. But she does it perfectly.

But the secondary cast is great too. Most notably for me was Kuranosuke Sasaki and Nozomi Sasaki and their characters. To be honest I had expected at the onset that the great Kuranosuke Sasaki would be a comic relief pervert and Nozomi Sasaki would be a female antagonist. Nothing could be further from the truth. They turned out to be apt characters I could appreciate.

It left on a cliffhanger so I hope they bring it back for a special or a second season.
