Pontifex Lembrary (Kim Min-Kyu) is widely regarded as having the most powerful divine power ever. While he fights against a devil, he gets transferred to a different world. Pontifex Lembrary then finds himself in a small dormitory and possessing the body of Woo Yeon-Woo, who is a member of unpopular idol group Wild Animal. The group has been together for 3 years, but they are on the verge of disbanding due to their lack of success. 9 hours later, Pontifex Lembrary is placed on a stage with Wild Animal for a live performance at a broadcasting station. When the music begins to play, Pontifex Lembrary, in Woo Yeon-Woo’s body, shouts out "I don't know how to dance." The live broadcast performance is a disaster, but it attracts the attention of people and the media. With his charms, including confident attitude, Woo Yeon-Woo, still possessed by Pontifex Lembrary's spirit, becomes popular and so does his group Wild Animal. Pontifex Lembrary must now get used to life as a member of an idol group and he faces various troubles, like dealing with weird religious groups and the devil.

Its already ep9 but he still hasnt shown any improvement. All other characters have growth but he remains thr same- borderline stupid weak self-absorbed Pls pls improve!!!!

Liz Mar 12 2023 10:01 am Kim Min-kyu is doing a great job at portraying his role but I wish that the storyline would pickup. Theres been a lot of world building that I feel took too many episodes to establish. The show is supposed to be a healing one (I'm assuming), but it could benefit from more humour and more fast paced scenes. At times I find myself growing bored of the scenes and wonder what the producer is trying to accomplish.

I had high hopes for this plot as exploring idol life and being in someone else's body seems like a really interesting watch. However, I don't understand where the show is going. Episode 6 was a little more captivating so hopefully it keeps gaining speed plot-wise.

GK Mar 09 2023 5:42 am Maybe Mingue rarely gets a lead role but he is a great actor and he really did well his first lead role in historical drama, sometimes the other people are obviously jealous and biased, maybe his historical drama is underrated espec in global but it's highest rating in SK which means they like his performance there and they also love his chemistry with his partner and co star, it's a nonsense to compared him to others because all actors have own talent. Although BP is one of his popular drama but I like his historical drama more. For The Heavenly Idol his another lead role maybe this drama is not perfect and got low rating but Mingue portrayed his character well. Also this series is really fun and entertaining.

I first saw a historical drama that had so much potential with the casting and directing and storyline but his acting was bottom-line terrible. I tried my best to continue bug failed.so when I saw him in business proposal and several other shows I thought maybe he belongs as second lead. If you don't believe me go watch his historical drama he isn't much of a good actor as compared to Newbies like Ahn hyo sop

The drama is funny too, though not as funny as you want to roll on the floor, but the humors are just sweet to giggle a little. just wanna say to those who want to watch but drop it after looking at the rating, just try watch the further eps. The drama develop much better

sweetteri May 23 2022 8:22 pm Honestly I want to see him to reunite with Jin Se Yeon again because their undeniable chemistry is so good and their team up was so very special because he played an important male lead in the successful historical drama Queen: Love And War when he was pair up with JSY but I think they select another female lead in this upcoming drama because it's obvious from the plot. Anyway hopefully this drama will be good to Kim Min Kyu because he deserves to be a male lead again, I hope for the best to him. Still if have a chance I wish that he will collaborate again with JSY in another deserving and great drama in the future because their cute and sweet banter during Queen: Love And War will not be surpassed they were very comfortable with each other, love their great team up, anyway good luck! to KMK on his next project..
