Yoon Song-A (Won Jin-A) works as a marketer for a cosmetic brand. She enjoys her job and does it with vigor. Her dream is to start her own cosmetic brand. Meanwhile, Chae Hyun-Seung (Ro Woon) works with Yoon Song-A as a marketer. He becomes attracted to Yoon Song-A and tries to develop a romantic relationship with her. However, Yoon Song-A rebuffs his advances, because she does not see younger guys as dating partners.

There are the usual impossible coincidences in kdramas, the usual product placements, but other than that it is very realistic, and extremely subtle. Some people might find it slow, but I was addicted from episode 1. It is about time people just accept that kdramas, specially romance, take their sweet time. So please get over it and enjoy. About Ro Woon. I think Ro Woon is a great actor. I cannot wait for him to take more diverse roles. His extreme beauty is captivating, but it is also a bit distracting. I wish Ro Woons make up artist would choose a more natural look in his dramas. As usual all supporting roles are just wonderful actors. Amazing cinematography and editing.

The differences between the couples and their relationship amounts to a broad and deep spectrum of human situations. I find this drama exceptionally captivating and more than that, relevant.

This is the first drama I’m watching and was wishing the main leads don’t end up together, they ain’t a match, my opinion tho. I preferred the side stories to the main lead’s story. I started watching this drama because of Rowoon, and he did amazingly well.

So far, this This is something that I am not surprised or to be scared about it but in a society that is so conservative like thr Korean; it is something that it needs to be managed carefully. Specially because now a days your TV it has been promotioned globally.

Renwa Aug 24 2022 5:03 pm This drama was moderately entertaining. The storyline was unimpressive & dragged especially during the 1st half of the episodes. The pacing and subplots were uneven. Ro Woon’s acting was especially engaging allowing me to stick with it. He’s a strong charismatic & skillful talent. Both Ro Woon and Lee Hyun-Wook who is as well a solid actor seem to carry the drama during the 1st half. It does pick up in the 2nd half where a number of issues related to the nuances of relationships are skillfully handled. On the whole the casting was strong where so many supporting actors who we know & love strengthened and saved the drama. My verdict on the FL is still out. I never felt her character or the acting was as strong as was needed.

Jenny Aug 19 2022 7:48 pm On the surface, this is just another romantic comedy churned out by the Korean drama factory. And it doesn’t seem to have done particularly well in the ratings. But it is really much more than that. To start with, Won Jin-A is not your classic beauty. But she has a beauty all of her own and she plays a masterfully nuanced role almost to perfection. The workplace situations dealt with in this drama mirror situations which do arise in real life. We all have to deal with them and do so with varying degrees of success. The series also address two themes previously avoided in most K-dramas: homosexuality and couples shown sleeping naked together on screen. The relationship between the siblings is quite wonderful and Ro Woon’s older sister played by Wang Bit-Na is ver attractive and has a very appealing personality. My criticisms relate to how Ro Woon insists on forcing Won Jin-A to face the reality of her lover’s duplicity. Ro Woon’s behavior here is obsessive and intrusive, almost that of a stalker. Some of the sound effects are inappropriate, spoiling what would otherwise be moments of great emotional impact. But overall, this is a fabulous series with many touching scenes and is well worth watching.

Won Jin Ah and Rowoon swapped roles in their affair which was interesting. Their chemistry grew. Funny she is so sweet but would never a skirt. The sister’s relationship really good, but sad the other sister had to get the divorce and couldn’t quite understand why if he wasn’t gay. Great work by the cosmetic artists. Funny co-workers.

I like him in period dramas. However, there was a bit of chemistry, though the plot was completely daft. Couldn’t get invested in the story so far. No suspense. I’m on episode 7 and can’t see how it’s going to stretch to 16, but I’ll hang in.

I loved the way the story unfolded although with many characters, the viewer had to update constantly as to each segment's details. I particularly loved the way the two main characters acted. I previously watched a must-see Won Jin-A drama series, Rain or Shine and Ron Woo's remarkable performance in The King's Affection.

The chemistry of these lead actors in She Would Never Know was evident.

Congratulations to all the other leads... Lee Hyun-wook was also in his best form, so were the two other Lees. An Se-ha and his staff provided the necessary humor to balance the intensity in some of the episodes.

Thank you to the scriptwriter and producer for this kind of a romcom....

He doesn't give the Yoon Song-ah character time to breathe and have time to herself to process what is happening to her. I don't know what these writers were thinking. It deals with a lot of taboo subjects but it didn’t take away from the story. This is my first time watching Rowoon and I think he did well, I hope they do another drama together.

glen Jul 09 2022 1:59 pm I found it odd that never once did Jae-shin ever consider that Song-A might have found out about his immense lie and betrayal of her when her attitude towards him changed. How did he expect to carry on that relationship after he was married and the publicity that marriage would have generated made it inevitable that Song-A would have found out about it. That made no sense at all. It also made no sense that Song-A would have even considered staying with him - not in Korea - this is not the decadent West - although it is leaning that way with it's continual dancing around homosexuality. I hope and pray that Kdramas do not succumb to wokeness. I am sick and tired of problematical parents - they should find some other source of conflict for a change. I found it funny that Song-A was so deeply involved in the cosmetics business yet still failed to apply lipstick to her cupid's bow. It looks so stupid - is it a Korean fashion statement or something? I thought Rowoon was sweet - he deserved better than an indecisive idiot like Song-A. I felt sorry for Jae-Shin - no job is worth being told who to love and marry. But he was left alone in the end.

Ajumma Fangirl Apr 13 2022 8:11 pm I’ve put this on hold for quite sometime because of my reservation of Won Jin A being the FL (I didn’t liked her chemistry with Wookie in Melting Me Softly) but was impressed with her in Hellbound, so I gave this a chance.

Finished it within a day because it was more than an Okay drama for me. Ro Woon was great here and Won Jin A has better chemistry with Ro Woon than Wookie (so it’s a plus for me).

SPOILER AHEAD

The story may be similar to some of the series I’ve watched (Forecasting Weather and Love- the noona, secret office romance with the betrayal of the boyfriend also within the company, the suicidal sister of the CEO who loves the 2nd ML reminded me of My Shy Boss, the in denial husband who has “gay” friend is also similar with My Unfamiliar Family.

Despite of the similarities with different series, I find that it has it’s own charm. The FL didn’t immediately fell in love with the ML and was affected by her break up despite the cheating (it’s more realistic than FLAW). The FL was honest enough about being selfish that she’s not able to reciprocate his love but she doesn’t want him to give up on her. So there was development in their feelings until the FL realizes how much the ML means to her.

I also like how Director Lee chose to find himself in the end. He chose a difficult path to start over again. As for Hyo Joo, I am also relieved that she tried hard to get over her obsession with Director Lee (although there are hints she still likes him) but the fact that

three years had passed and she’s alive and also back at
work means she tried her best to overcome her issues.

I also love the character Jae Woon. He may seem shallow at times but he has a very sincere friendship with Director Lee, he loves his sister and innocent, pure love for Ji Seung.

And lastly, I love the Chae family. The siblings have great support for one another even the kid, was matured most of the time (the divorce though showed she’s still a child after all). Although there were no background as to why the siblings’ parents live apart, the siblings grew up pretty well.

I loved the happy ending (oops sorry spoiler alert) and for me the other storylines were nicely resolved (not all happily resolved but satisfactory). And 로운 is so handsome. In every scene. So handsome. Although the mop scene in episode 6 was weird wasn’t it?

She loves and supports him very much. It's realistic story and it happens in real life,but I agree that he is a little selfish. If you have already decided to have a family, you should sacrifice yourself for them. And their adorable daughter Ha Eun,she's so smart. Want Them Together.I like other couples more than the main actors, Song Ah annoys me, but great drama. Rowoon a great career is ahead of you.

Pie May 15 2021 8:13 pm It's a really enjoyable drama even if the plot isn't that challenging, it's purely a romance drama anyway. The characters are well writen with realistic story, when you're watching it you'll be like "yeah i would do the same too if it was me". Rowoon's acting definitelly improved so much, i can't wait for his next project. Won Jin Ah did great and she had great chemistry with Rowoon, i don't get why she was hated because of her last drama. At least in this drama she did great and had a great chemistry with both ML and SML.

Somehow it gives me hope that I still can find love. Apart from that, I envy the relationship among the three siblings. They are very supportive to each other and always have time to catch up together although they live separately and have a busy professional life. The relationship among co-workers is also well-portrayed. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, my office has been implementing working-from-home modality. So, watching the office life in this drama really made me miss my coworkers and, weirdly at the same time, it also soothed my feelings. Thank you for producing this drama. I hope to see more realistic dramas ahead.

It fell flat for me. It seems to play out as forced expressions. He did a good job but the lead actress lacked compared to the other actresses in the show.

They always produce top quality drama!! And I really gotta admit that Rowoon has improved his acting skills a lot! I think the story is very relatable. It reminds me a lot with my crush at the office. Moreover, Rowoon's character is just lovely. He set a high standard for men. I mean, his attitude and kindness is so admirable.

The supporting characters are interesting too! I like Hyunseung's sisters and Songah's ex boyfriend's story. I feel like this drama is very potential to be extended to be a medium or long length drama. The supporting characters are all very potential to be developed more. It would be fun like the KBS's weekend drama.

It's a light drama, perfect to make yourself relax after a whole hectic working day!

I stop writing review for such a long time but this drama make me want to give it the justice it deserves. Everything about this drama is beautiful. The story is a bit cliché but it is cliché in a good way. I don't know how to explain this but this drama made you feel good. The chemistry between the leads are no joke, the slay their part. Every support character also play their role really well. However, -warning- to those who are single. Please watch it with caution. You would feel like you need someone with you right here right now. kikikikikikiki

It's not cringey at all for me. Ro Woon and Jina did a great job in portraying their characters, and so as the supporting casts.

Watch this. If you want to be in love. If you want to see how gorge Ro Woon is. hehe.

And please, dont mind the negative feedbacks. You'll miss half of this world if you listen to them.

Some of my favorites are Secret Love Affair, The Winter the Wind Blows, When a Man Loves, Misaeng and Jang Ok Jung This is an excellent drama with a phenomenal story line and superb actors..

I like this drama though. It has the warm feeling and all. I also like the side story of hyunseung's sisters love life as well as jaeshin and hyojoo's. I think the supporting characters are interesting.

I wonder what happen with hyojoo's parents. I hope they will show it...but it's already near the end of the drama, so I don't have a high hope.

The main couple is cute and all but I find myself interested in the stories of CHS sisters and their love lives. Also I think most of CHS scenes with his niece are cuter than the ones with YSA but that's just my opinion because overall this can be a nice and chill drama for lots

I just have a problem with the second leads.. every time they appeared on screen, I wanted to skip their parts. The second female lead’s behavior isn’t healthy.. I don’t understand why she is still clinging onto the 2nd male lead when there are many other men out there who could probably treat her better than him.

It's not fast paced, there isn't any real romantic suspense (it's predictable) or anything different or extraordinary. I am continuing to watch bc I love the FL actress (Won Jin Ah) & I love the actor (Lee Hyun Wook) works. ---Likes --- • FL (Won Jin Ah) --> a soft & feminine But strong & graceful womanly presence in her facial expressions, tone of voice & style as an actress & in this drama. Her acting seems natural & flows in a convincing way. She is such a cutie pie. • ML (Ro Woon) --> gave creepy/stalker vibes at 1st but he is straight forward with his advances towards the FL. His tall height & nice build comes off as a strong & confident protector of the FL. Although, his acting comes off cringy & forced a lot of the times. • The height differences is so adorable! ---Dislikes --- • The script could've been stronger to go with the very slow plot/revelations, 3/4 of the way in & didn't feel like much happened. Secrets/revelations could've been found out sooner & there would still be room for more things to evolve & keep us interested. • A really good OST could've even helped this drama that I feel is lacking in other areas. • At times the leads don't really flow, maybe a different male lead pairing • This isn't a comedy at all, the office employees provide a little but not enough to be given "comedy" label

Something about the lead actress is very charming & she's very beautiful & super cute height. Her voice is so calming. The main FL & ML have chemistry but the ML, Rowoom is lacking, his acting seems forced a lot of the time or awkward. While the FL acting seems to flow, comes off natural & I think that balances out this drama. This romance drama isnt the best but it isn't bad. Storyline & script could've been stronger to make up for the "slow burning love" vibe.

yaaaa Feb 21 2021 5:02 am this drama isn’t your typical romcom, but rather takes a more realistic approach on how relationships are truly like. yes it might not be your usual quick pace drama, but that’s the point of the slow burn- not to rush into things and to really take it all in. all the characters have such a relatable and full of heart feel to them and because of that i can’t stop watching. it’s ok if people don’t like the drama because it’s not for everyone- but don’t let those comments stop you from watching this series, because in my opinion it’s such a refreshing change from the typical kdrama tropes.

She has a sad face with depressing eyebrows and her expression is always "distressed" as if she is suffering from some childhood trauma. In the drama "Just between lovers", it suited her very well for the character she played, but here it kills the vibe. She has a deep serious voice, which make her sound all the more sad.

The girl playing second female lead is amazing as well. She has good potential as an antagonist.

I like the older sister of Hyun Seung. She is such a sweet sister, warm and cozy. I'm looking forward to her loveline with the KLAR Director. It would be fun to watch.

I have tried watching won ji ah in melting me softly and rain or shine. the chemistry is always kinda off with her and respected male leads. i just wish the female lead changes. i don't want stop ro woon's drama in the midway like previous two.

He does well but might we all be a little more lenient with his because he's totally gorgeous? Be honest with yourselves now people.
