Masao Kotera (Atsuo Nakamura) is the CEO of the largest Japanese newspaper Nippon Shinpo. He makes a decision to sell the company to online shopping company AMC of America. Sota Aoi (Hiroshi Mikami) is the CEO of the Japanese branch of AMC, but Masao Kotera dies suddenly. His successor Akira Niisato (Takashi Sasano) continues negotiation with AMC.
Yasuhiro Minami (Seiji Fukushi) is an ex-reporter for the newspaper. Due to a case, he is appointed to work in the CEO’s office to assist with negotiations. Meanwhile, Sota Aoi of AMC offers a final unexpected condition to the acquisition.
