Kako Motoya (Tao Tsuchiya) is in the first year of high school. She has yet to have a boyfriend yet. One day, she pretends she's a university student and takes part in a group blind date. There, she meets 23-years-old Kota Sagano (Kazuya Kamenashi). Kako and Kota get along well and become attracted to each other. Later, Kota learns that Kako is a high school student and his attitude towards Kako changes. In fact, Kota is police officer. Even though he likes her, he knows he can't date her. Then, Kako is injured while protecting Kota. Kota decides to accept Kako for who she is. He asks Kako to marry him, because that's the only way he can be with her as a police officer.

Kuroneko Jun 18 2022 8:27 am So disturbing to watch. Immature love since the girl is still in high school. It is so tiring to watch when only one side who being understanding while the other person in the relationship acts like a child (well indeed she is).

The writer's perspective is so questionable or to be clear, problematic. How can a 20-something-grown-up-man marry an underage girl?

I prefer Kamenashi being paired with Aya, a more mature and appropriate age.

Retno AS Feb 01 2018 6:30 am Actually the manga was great, but why the director of this movie is Ryuichi Hiroki ? I have watched the live action manga directed by him before (Strobe Edge) and i hate the way how he took all scene, the artist/actor always taken from far away (their close up faces shown up rarely), sometimes when they talk the person cannot be seen :( i dont know if there are some people having some thought as me, but it's so distressed when the manga is soo amazing but the movie breaking our expectations.

Aishie Jan 08 2018 8:51 am For those who didnt read the manga might feel a bit cringy or something, I was surprised too when he wanted to get married after meeting her for a few hours (in the movie), but in the manga it takes quite some times before they got married, maybe the director wants to keep the story short or something but it still good to me.. Kato-kun looks like Sato Takeru too.. >//<

Kaya Dec 21 2017 4:31 pm This drama was a lil' (maybe a whole lot actually) bit cringeworthy at some points, like when he asked her to marry him after knowing her for maybe 5 hours, but I have to admit that they are cute together. The story may not have been the most believable (and slightly pointless), but the lead characters had a lot of chemistry and seemed to work well together.

Irish Dec 13 2017 11:55 am The acting of the actors are good. Japanese acting are sometimes unnatural and awkward because they tend to mimic anime but in this one, its not cringey. The lead actress is adorable. The lead actor is good as well but Ookami (second lead) is really cute too. #torn

Yuu Oct 22 2017 10:36 am I'm just too focused on Aya and Kame, my first ship from YamaNade. ? The movie was nice but I'm just too bothered by the age gap. Lol I was just like, "Kyohei, go to Sunako instead!", "Setoka, make up your mind, Haruka or Kota?!", and "hey Okami, don't be lonely, I'm here." I'm just the type to connect every previous films of the casts. I also thought of Odagiri Ryuu from Gokusen. HAHAHAHAHAHA Seriously tho, didn't know that Takasugi was part of the movie before watching. I just can't stop taking screen shots. XD

lalala18 Oct 05 2017 12:14 am I just watched this movie. good storyline. I like it. however, I did not enjoy the cinematography. The image is too far away. Maybe they want to show the beauty of the city, but I think it's too much. I can not see the expression of Tao and Kazuya. It reminds me of ookami shoujo to kuro ouji. But, P to JK is one of the live action movies I recommend! enjoy!

The manga itself is good as well. So I'm really looking forward to this movie and it is a plus too that they look cute together.

lovin this Jun 09 2016 9:19 pm @yamaken the manga didn't finish yet the author was on hiatus due to pregnancy she will get back to continue what was left and there is still a chapters and volume to publish. I agree that the manga is enjoyable and funny to read ,Kako and Kouta are adorable couple. I was shocked and happy to see Kame and Tao will play the leads they are both decent actors , I just hope many scenes can include in the movie. but I wonder about the ending :P

lovin this May 29 2016 7:31 am Thankfully it's not ridiculously Yamaken again , and I'm happy for Kame!This is the first time he will do Pure Romance movie , the role suit him and I can see him portrayed it perfectly Plus Tao Tsuchiya is established as capable actress from many projects of what I'v seen her and she isn't awkward to act with senior actors beyond her years.

Looking forward to this.
