L Analu Jun 15 2015 3:39 am This dorama really surprised me. I expected a familiar story about a marriage with some mild problems. Instead, we are presented with a dorama of much intensity by writer Yukawa-san, by the excellent actors in their character roles, & by the filmmakers. They make sure to entertain us to enjoy the humor & happiness, tenderness & wishfulness, love & joy. But they greatly present serious personal, family & society issues of today to allow us to experience feelings of pain & agony, frustration & inner conflict, heartbreak & disbelief. We could watch this dorama without much thought, but could it be that Yukawa-san, the actors, & filmmakers desire encouraging us to please think deeper about all the issues? Issues such as: Unrighteous condemnation & judgment of others. Dysfunctional families. Rebellious children. Dishonesty & contention. False traditions & beliefs of society. False priests. Weak values. Loss of one’s true happiness & meaning in life. Dakara, what do you think after watching this dorama? For me, I wonder if we could avoid the dangers that this dorama presents: [1] Could we stand alone to forgive & accept the person who honntoni, honntoni repents of sin no matter what others think, OR would we stand with others who quickly condemn & never forgive? [2] Could our priorities & attitudes cherish, value & strengthen our marriage & family foremost, OR would we sacrifice our marriage & family as an excuse to selfishly seek after our love for great wealth & status to be like the others? [3] Could we give our best effort of patience, kindness, attention, & time with each of our children, or other children we know, to help with their struggles, OR would we allow our excuses of being too busy, of being insensitive, or ignoring the child’s need for guidance & teaching of upright morals? ... I think the greatest thought is, [4] Could we each have true happiness & meaning in life? For me, I have humble belief that: [1] Each of our spirit is given a special hikari to know right from wrong. [2] Each of our life will always have small & big challenges. [3] Our special hikari will always guide us through every challenge to help us choose the right priorities, have the right attitudes, the right values, the right morals. ... I happily found that there is a wise leader who strongly said that it is important for us to please really live what we humbly believe is right, & this must please zettai be a priority in everything we do in our personal life, marriages, families, business & work, politics, religion, communities, treating others. Honntoni, what we humbly believe is shown by our choices & actions. Therefore I have belief that as we humbly follow our special hikari, with confidence we can make the right choices, do the right things, & develop deep values & virtues that will give each of us true happiness & true meaning of life. (Isn't it very interesting that Yukawa-san has selected "Hikari" as the name of the female protagonist?) Minasama, may we please gambatte, ne? Domo arigatou to Yukawa-san, the actors & filmmakers for this dorama. Watching it has given great insights into our own life, happiness, & purpose that I humbly think we would all desire to give serious thought.

Jenny Sharrock Feb 11 2015 12:59 pm I just started watching this drama.In my opinion the drama hits everyday facts in family life.Even tho Hikari is very loyal to her husband but there is more to the story and i cant wait to see that.Thanks to the writers and whole team.You made me watch this excitedly.Than you so much.Keep on it and let me be more interested what will happen next :) <3
