Plot

It is said that many working women in their twenties are clandestinely, sloppy and lazy homebodies. At work, they put on a facade of living it up in glitz and glamour, but at home, they live as ultimate sexless slobs! Hotaru Amemiya (Haruka Ayase), who works in the interior design industry in Tokyo, is truly one such homebody. She would rather sleep than date and loves to dilly-dally at home, clad in a stained T-shirt and sweat pants, drinking beer while scratching her behind. But her comfy homebody life is threatened when one day, her boss, Takano (Naohito Fujiki), moves into her house out of the blue. Then, at work, an up-and-coming young designer, Makoto Teshima (Kazuki Kato) returns from London, and Hotaru's life takes a new turn. She falls in love! How will the homebody girl respond to Makoto's bold move? Will she remember how to be feminine again?

sophiagarcia Jan 11 2016 9:39 am one of my most favorite rom-com dramas. when i first saw it on tv, i gnored it until the first three episodes. but when i finally got down to watch it, i got hooked and even watched the reruns and in the net, maybe five or more times already. i never get tired of it. the leads have chemistry. hotaru and takano are cute, they blend well and look so good together. they have so many funny moments together and made me smile think of the days when i was young.

Clarkdale44 Apr 10 2014 11:31 pm Holy shit!!! Man oh Man, Haruka Ayase.. you are... I am speechless... How should i describe her... There is no doubt that is the acting queen above all others and one of the top actresses in the entire world. There is something amazing about her that i can't figure out. Haruka with Naohito seem very compatible and they had great chemistry. I will always remember those funny moments when they were arguing and haruka's childish behivior was pretty cute. At first i was trying to avoid this drama for a while due to i didn't quite like the story concept, but then one day i made my mind to watch it. And it took me only 30 minutes of the first episode and i was already into it. Story is very common and simple but Haruka and Naohito are making it special with their casting.

It is mind blowing by all means.. Don't be fooled by the cover art, it is very promising, i regret it that i decided not to watch until now. Every episode is full of laughter and funny moments. I don't remember the last time i was this happy by watching some drama or movie. When you finish watching season 1, you will ask for more.

I will give it 10/10(Simply PERFECT COMEDY, Superb Casting... Very Impressive)

She placed the shell to her earr and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this iss totally off tppic but I had to tell someone!

Anyways, I don't understand what Amemiya and the other office girls saw in Makoto Teshima. He was incredibly bland, boring, and not very attractive. He was like a robot. If I worked in that office I would be checking out and fawning over Buchou. :-D Now that's a man right there. Glad it worked out for Amemiya and Buchou in the end because if she ended up with robot guy I would have been pissed.
