Naoko Kishikawa (Kana Kurashina) works in the undergarment counter at a department store. She is a 31-year-old single woman, leading a boring life. She lives her father Shuji (Shiro Sano), mother Sue (Atsuko Takahata) and younger sister Junko (Seika Furuhata).

One day, Naoko happens to meet Lee Ji-Won (Kai). He is a cameraman from South Korea. Lee Ji-Won causes Naoko and her family to change slowly.

cp5000 May 02 2018 12:05 pm This drama was not what I was expecting. I thought it was going to be all happy and romantic, but suddenly it delved into topics that are not really touched upon. I really enjoyed it because of that. I hope Kai continues to act in dramas. He has a loyal fan right here! :)

Cammie Feb 12 2018 5:05 am I enjoyed the drama, the plot was very nice and touched upon subjects that isn't commonly talked about. Each and one of the characters had their own stories, and I never imagined that would be the secrets. I was kind of sad with the ending though, although I know it was supposed to be a happy ending in a way, it just.. I wanted it happier. But I liked that I did not see the ending coming, many endings are too predictable and this one was not, which I enjoyed.

LKB Feb 01 2018 5:50 pm This drama is serving one purpose so well: putting me to sleep. If I hadn't seen Kai in Andante I would think his acting was on the level of a brick... I think a good chunk of the struggle is the language not being his native one so it sounds so unnatural, but apart from the girl's mother and sister and to a slight and strange extent her father, what is with the tragic acting in this? The lead actress is the most flat toned I have encountered in several years, and the plot is wishy washy and contrived. The violent scene was poorly executed, too-maybe for fear of actually bruising a pretty idol boy or just having terrible supporting actors (his colleague who told him the deal was off was awful, too). The only nice part so far has been the 2D world-nice pictures for the family and catalog alike.

It is disappointing to say the least. I am not sure I can make myself watch the last couple of episodes-especially given how many times I have fallen asleep and rewound the video after a long winter's nap... The monologues at the start had me hopeful, but this is just embarrassing to view after Andante, slow moving as it was, at least had tender sweet tales and brought something new to us. This is a has been done 50x story and is so full of cliches you would think the writer wrote it with that goal in mind. Pass on it unless you have insomnia and need helpful treatment!
