In the food themed drama "Gochisousan," Meiko Uno (Anne Watanabe) is the daughter of parents who run a western style restaurant in Tokyo. She marries and moves to Osaka with her husband. Meiko experiences cultural differences between Tokyo and Osaka, as she lives as a mother and wife in Osaka.

mior Dec 28 2016 11:37 pm I really like this drama series. Its enlightening to know that the Japanese too have to face many issues in the family, but can overcome personal and natural obstacles with love, hard work and perseverance. Anne and Masahiro were awesome. I love to watch them.

likeit Mar 31 2016 9:23 am thankful that I checked it out. I almost put it off because the comments below me. I thought it was gonna be about in-laws fighting. 150 episodes, jaw drops, but the romance is cute.

Masahiro Higeshida is so cool as a clever student.. and Anne also has great acting as a slow thinker? Hahaha, sorry for my goofy English... but I do really enjoy watching Bon Appetit, thanks to Waku Waku Japan TV for re-airing.. after Amachan and Oshin..
