Park Min Apr 08 2023 11:48 am No where near as good as the original movie. The drama constantly jump between different periods/episodes/scenes, even scenes from the final moments are in early episodes, this was a really bad decision in the directing department and the scuffed production doesn't help either at all. Yeah sure the drama had Hyun Bin but that's not enough!

Jilli Feb 24 2023 4:42 pm I watched this originally around 2010 the year of Secret Garden but I honestly didn't remember much about it 13 years later so watched it again in early 2023. I think the actors were all fine, I especially swooned over Seo Do Young (Spring Waltz) the most. I liked his more quiet and self-effacing character over the ones swayed by the mob. I think the writing was the problem here: the early part of their histories as students was dragged out way too long. The drama would have been more condensed at 16 episodes and been easier to process. And what was it with all those unpleasant scenes with the teacher constantly slugging his students? Awful! The audience probably checked out of the drama too soon because of the unpleasantness of it all and that's why the ratings were low. Good writers hook their audiences in early with beautiful or inspiring or romantic scenes, not ugly ones.

ces Apr 03 2020 10:21 am Watched 2020 after seeing CLOY, I fell inlove with Hyin Bin and was binge watching all the shows movie that he made... I'm glad I did no t skip this one it made me cry it was heavy to the heart but it made me love Hyun Bin more as an Actor.

Gasenadi Jul 14 2012 3:39 pm Weeks after watching this drama, I can still remember its powerful impact. Its beginning reminded me of All In, Damo and IRIS, so I wasn't looking forward to a happy ending, often wondering whether it would be worth my time. So, I NEVER expected to be swept by Hyun Bin's character. The editing was superb, maybe because it was filmed in its entirety before broadcasting. I was also impressed by the developement of Jung Yoo-Mi's character and her portrayal. It pained me to see the path taken by sensitve, artistic, talented Dong-Su. I'm definitely going to see the orginal movie. Highly recommended.
