Ora Gohara (Tsuyoshi Muro) works as a baseball scout for the Yokohama Bay Golds. He has a sharp tongue and a self-righteous personality, but he is well regarded for his work as a scout. His goal is to find players with talent and draft the top player for the Yokohama Bay Golds. To find the right players, he travels all over the nation. Ora Gohara and his scout team including Rikuo Shimobe and Ryosuke Kamiki struggle to to strengthen the Yokohama Bay Golds.
