Ko Cheok-Hee (Cho Yeo-Jeong) worked as a lawyer and she would do anything to win her case. So Jung-Woo was her office manager. He pointed out any mistake made by Ko Cheok-Hee which irked her. Their relationship was rocky at best.

Now, they meet again at a law firm, but So Jung-Woo works as a lawyer and Ko Cheok-Hee is the officer manager.

I think this drama a bit like Marriage Not Dating. Hahhaha.. but i feel pity with the second lead male, he is so kindhearted and innocent. I think he is the one who deserve Go Cheokee..

I Love Kdrama Sep 22 2019 8:33 am A good ending but not a typical happy ending. As the leads voiceover, it's not a happy ever after ending but a life with difficulty in front of them (you would never know what will happen in future).

Happily ever after is after all, too much a fantasy to believe in.

MND was kinda of draggy in between with the problematic 2nd lead gal and guy. Here, though 2nd lead gal was kinda selfish (who aren't?), the 2nd lead guy was funny.

Mr. Korea May 25 2019 9:08 am Starts off great. Then there's a lull. But by episode 11 it gets interesting again. Highly recommend it even if you're not getting a divorce. I'm going through it right now and it is a pleasant respite from my mental anguish. Yes, wife is divorcing me. Lead actress is hot and love when she uses the sa-too-li accent with her dad.

Cast is brilliant, especially Shim Hyung-Tak, Wang Ji-Won, Lee Dong-Hwi, Lee Yeol-Eum. Plot has some holes and errors, but maybe that's due to the translation. Nevertheless, it's a must watch for me. I want to see more kdramas with Cho Yeo-Jeong. She is gorgeous with that bang haircut. Very retro 50's.

It also had some realistic pointers about life and love in comparison to most 'kdrama that are a bit on the whimsical side in regards to these topics and I truly appreciated that about the drama, hats off to the cast and crew

Nooowlll Mar 30 2016 8:51 pm Story: Although the events revolves around a serious topic of our society which was divorce and problems of marriage, the overall "feel" or atmosphere of the show is kept warm and very light to watch. The drama provides us a slice of the cake called life. It presents us that to love is of human nature by showing the love in our life in its many forms. However, it also presented that humans are naturally fearful of getting hurt or hurting others, but it showed that to love is to not fear but to trust. Even the mother of the deceased president feels compassion to the person who took his son away from her. I think every character on this drama have a trace of love in their hearts, except for that guy who refuses to give his bone marrow.

Character development: The way the drama gave life to its primary characters is very astounding. The main and the supporting characters all have their own unique traits, or say identities, in which the drama did a good job in building up through the 18 episodes. Also, the tightly intertwined relationships of Cheok Lee, Jung Woo, Jo Soo Ah and Bong Ming Gyu; provided a great way for the drama to enrich their characters. I just dont like that they have included that scary doll in the character of Cheok Lee and that scary ringtone of her. I think her character will still be very memorable without it.

Comedic relief: Since it is in the romantic comedy genre, it is supposed to be funny. But I think the drama did an great job on this. Well, sometimes Cheok Lee and Jung Woo can be too cheesy to be funny. But, its the supporting characters that makes it perfect. Especially the officemates of Cheok Lee and Jung Woo when she was an office manager, and Ming Gyu. Haha, I can really see myself in Mingyu, although I am not as rich as him, but because I have been also through that and as I watch this drama it gave me a few good laughs.

Although I am still always not satisfied on how the quickly the ending is expressed, just like other Korean dramas. Maybe it is both a pro and a con, since it makes us wonder what happened after the ending.

TL;DR Overall, for me its a great drama. The story is very interesting, well-written, and well-executed. Very funny. Great cast. Interesting story and characters. Worth watching.

seenaa Nov 20 2015 10:41 am i start watching this drama with so many good expectation bcs i fall in love with yeon woo jin after watching marriage not dating. but what can i say.. i cant enjoy this drama and the worst is i cant feel the chemistry between the main character. the female lead is just too annoying. i really dont like her trying-to-cute voice, and her acting is not that good tho? i dont know if she always like this since she is considered as senior actress? also.. i dont know its me or.. ugh her eyebrow is so fake it also annoying

It might be cheesy at some times but there are ome nice plot twists that make it not such a predictable kdrama. Yeon Woo Jin killed it, especially when he smiled. Ugh if you guys get to the episode with the dog, you'll understand. <3

Its a light, fun to watch and much better in every aspect than most of the really popular ones (like The heirs or Pinocchio, which were dramas of a low quality and were popular mostly because of their cats). the lead lady here is not a pushover, but a strong, independent women, has a personality and a painful story explaining her current self. and she is not even nasty. sometimes somehow her being a strong personality adn having a flexible conscience (which is what most of the people have in real life anyway) is interpreted as her being nasty in the drama, which is quite common in korean dramas. I mean if she was a man, would anybody really hate her character? would she be interpreted to be a bad person? of course not. the sexism around korean dramas is sometimes unbelievable.... She is a really well constructed character for a korean drama. I hope that wont change as it goes
