Koji Uda (Kento Nakajima) comes from a family steeped in politics. His father Seijiro Uda (Shinichi Tsutsumi) is a powerful assemblyman and he is an authoritarian type of person. Koji Uda works for his father as his secretary. One day, Seijiro Uda's granddaughter is kidnapped. The kidnapper demands that Seijiro Uda set up a press conference by 5pm the next day and make a confession of his crime. That is the requirement to release Seijiro’s granddaughter, but Seijiro Uda refuses. Koji Uda confronts his father, who doesn't tell him what the crime is about, and he struggles to find the truth to save his niece.
