Kousaku Aizawa (Tomohisa Yamashita), Megumi Shiraishi (Yui Aragaki), Mihoko Hiyama (Erika Toda), Kazuo Fuikawa (Yosuke Asari) and Haruka Saejima (Manami Higa) have worked and pursued careers down different paths.

Kousaku Aizawa left the hospital emergency room. He now works as a brain surgeon. Megumi Shiraishi works hard as a staff leader for flight doctors at a hospital emergency room. Mihoko Hiyama wanted to become a flight doctor in th past, but she left the hospital emergency room and now works as an ob-gyn. Kazuo Fuikawa works as a emergency physician specializing in orthopedics and works with Megumi Shiraishi. Haruka Saejima still works as a nurse for flight doctors.

They each live fiercely and face new situations.

Anaesthetist Oct 06 2017 8:09 pm I've been following this from 2008, initially because of Yamapi ?? I love this season, love how they incorporate the issue of organ transplant.. How Mitsui Sensei's son eagerly waiting for organ, reading newspaper everyday, and the anxiety faced by the parents due to uncertainty. To my surprise, organ donation rate in Japan is very low compared to other developed nations, only 0.7 ppm. I also love, in episode 8, the relationship among co-workers, is stated as nakama/comrades instead of colleague. The production team is doing a great job, same goes to the actors. Although I have to mention that there are some tiny details that they missed, especially in episode 3 where the reservoir bag of high flow mask oxygen was not inflated and how Shiraishi Sensei just abandoned her patient after intubation because Saejima collapsed. She should have connected him to the portable ventilator at least (I love Parapac ventilator that they have, you can see it in the Heli but they usually do manual bagging). Whatever it is Code Blue is the best! ?

Yuri Sep 24 2017 11:41 am I love Code Blue so much!! Aizawa x Shiraishi x Hiyama x Saejima x Fujikawa is my OT5 of all time! Aizawa x Shiraishi is the ultimate OTP! Thank you for season 3. No matter how many complaints I might be having against the scriptwriter, I'm still grateful CB returned for a third season after 7 years. CB has become an asset to FujiTv, just keep milking the franchise and go on for many more seasons like other medical dramas!! There's still lots more you can show of our OT5.

Will be looking forward to the movie!!

BIBIMBAP Sep 11 2017 8:40 am a little spoiler of today's episode (9th)~ an incident occured & Aizawa sensei strucked down by the building materials i haven't watch the full episode since my connectivity went bad earlier T~T and my beloved Natori sensei ( ;3;) poor ya~ hope i'll be able to see his happy smile in the next episode~ everybody stand for their ship but i don't really ship anybody.. i just hope this drama will have a happy ending

Everyone is still the same but at the same time they all have something different. I wonder if we finally get to see Aizawa and Shirashi together this time. Somehow, I kind of predict their position after 7 years. Aizawa being awesome and staying at Neurosurgery, Shiraishi & Fuikawa is staying as flight doctors while Hiyama doing other thing that worth her talents haha. Hopefully some of them are happily married instead of all of them being single like the first 2 seasons.

I cant wait for this. Season 2 is better than Season 1 and hopefully Season 3 will be better than Season 2.
