Natsumi Aoi (Nana Mori) was born and raised in a town by the sea. She still lives in her hometown and works as a surfing instructor. She has two friends, Airi Takigawa (Ai Yoshikawa) and Risa Ogura (Sawa Nimura), who she grew up with. Meanwhile, Kento Mizushima (Shotaro Mamiya) graduated from a prestigious university in Tokyo and he now works for a big construction company. Natsumi Aoi and Kento Mizushima, who have totally different backgrounds, have a fateful encounter during the midsummer by the sea.
