On March 26, 1991, 5 children went to Mount Waryong to catch frogs. The children never returned. The entire nation talked and prayed that these children would return safely. Eleven years later, in 2002, the children's bone were discovered on Mount Waryong in Daegu, South Korea.

Until half of the movie getting more intense and goosebumps cause maybe that's true who killed the children were their parent, but the point is not that. Good movie yet tragic cause it's based on true story, the fact that the murderer still wander outside there

cherry Oct 21 2011 10:57 pm i've heard so much about this movie and i can't wait to see this one -- i'm not clear though what happened to these kids who only went for a frog hunting i think & just vanished without a trace? really a mystery kind of movie. i feel sorry for the children and their parents who must still be agonizing with their loss! if i were watching an american movie i may say they were abducted by aliens but to think that these are innocent kids who were merely doing what kids their age were doing....simply having fun & exploring the woods! i hope they upload this movie online soon!

I have seen a lot of crime movies. This one with The Chaser and Memories of Murder is the best ever made.

Novelty in this suspenseful movie is the treatment of the relations with the media. It's a good idea from director to introduce some questions of ethics. What a pleasure to be drawn into a story by such intelligent writing and outstanding acting. The story is told with impressive direction, plenty of details and realism to hook in most people. There's a real sense of place and time.

Can the movie be as beautiful, but at the same time be ugly. Like any dark mystery, the film simply raises questions, and gets the viewer to care about what happened to the kids.

Characters of parents, children, TV producer, professor, detectives, wives and many others, each and every one is so well casted it's hard to find anything to criticize. The biggest pro for this feature is that they keep all the characters human by giving them a soft side. Nobody is either extremely good or bad, they just are humans making hard or stupid choices and having to pay the price for it.

You have to see it to believe how perfect it is.

Grace Jul 14 2011 11:57 pm This movie was amazing. It is so sad that there is a statute of limitations on murder. Beautiful and sad movie. I just hope that all Korean police aren't as incompetent as they are in the movies.
