"Bad Love" follows the lives of 5 people.

So-Won (Shin Go-Eun) is 29-years-old and has a high school level education. She works as a clerk at a fabric store. So-Won possesses a bright and honest personality. Her dream is to become a designer. Her twin sister is Eun-Hye (Cha Min-Jee). Eun-Hye's personality is completely different from So-Won's. Eun-Hye is feminine and quiet. Both sisters were accepted into a university, but, due to their financial situation, only Eun-Hye was able to attend. To this day, Eun-Hye feels guilt about that.

Jae-Hyuk (Lee Sun-Ho) works as a designer. He is the first son of Chairman Han (Nam Kyung-Eup), who runs the Noyoo Group. Jae-Hyuk fell in love with Eun-Hye at first sight and they live together despite objections from Jae-Hyuk's family.

Jae-Hyuk has a younger stepbrother, Min-Hyuk (Yoon Jong-Hwa). Min-Hyuk desperately wants to receive recognition from his father. Meanwhile, Yeon-Soo (Oh Seung-A) works as a contract employee at Noyoo Group. When she was little, she lived off So-Won’s family. She wants to have successful life, but, in reality, she is still poor.

Park Min Jan 28 2023 7:53 pm Goddamn I actually really liked it, not entirely, the first half only. After the first half there was a significant drop in quality, it turned purely to be in a corporate setting, things got repetitive and meaningless, the writing got dumbed down, full of uneventful and boring scenes, became just like any other weak weekly drama and lost almost every potential it had to be a decent drama. I wish it maintained the same consistency as the first half. The one thing that bothered me the most, and will probably bother everyone else, is how they terrorized Ha Eun, almost too much.

On another note, two couples got together in real life and married after the drama finished filming. The first couple was Ho Jin & Kate/Yoo Jin which absolutely a delight, even their age gap is real. The second couple was So Won & Min Hyuk which is hard to imagine since they were enemies on screen. Also, this is the first drama I'm seeing from Shin Go Eun and I'm keen to check more of her roles.

meow Mar 31 2022 1:50 am this aired on my local tv station recently and for the first time ever, i am on the bad guy side lol. the main leads just don’t seem appealing this time no matter what they do. despite how evil yeonsoo is, i still like her more than the main leads. part of me want her to get back with hojin which i know is impossible and didn’t happen.

technically tho, if the mom didn’t object her relationship with hojin, maybe maybe maybe things will be good. but well, the writer wants this so, meh.

It is always the same script that the lady married the rich businessman but give him a green hat. And the stupid witch keep harvesting evil plan to harm ppl but always lucky to get away. No need to waste your time watching this twisted bloody long drama.

saranghae Jun 01 2020 3:39 am epi 129 the true final epi as it was shown in the first scene subtitle　I think this writer deservers a hats off and a big applause please for the excellent job clap clap clap thank youuuuu whoahahahahaha　but ＯＭＧ　ＯＭＧ　ＯＭＧ　ＯＭＧ　yeon　soo　is　not　dead　what　the　hell　how　could　she　survived　that　deadly　cliff?　no　way　this　writer is　nuts　he　is　still　throwing　big　bombs　out　there even in the last epi　hahaha

i　was　so　stunned　to　see　her　alive　with　only　few　scratches omg im so exhausted cz as I said in the beginning of this drama this writer wasn’t about to waste time he made the plot very interesting from the start to the end a little bit of dragged epi by half way but that’s totally forgivable cz the outcome of this drama was very good cant believe what happened to min hyuka another big bomb didn’t expect it a life in prison without parole would’ve been much better even if he died while trying to escape like almost happened to yeon soo would’ve been much better to becoming mentally disable that was too cruel writernimmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!! I don’t think he deserves to end like that what did he do? Was he totally responsible for what happened? His mother who created all this mess and instigated everybody to do the bad deeds go unpunished I wanted hojina and yeon soo back together along with hana and live as a happy family but that wasn’t meant to be cz yeon soo wanted passion instead of warmth and hojina wanted warmth not passion so this union was ill fated from the beginning but hojina and yujina looked great together so they have my blessing hahahahahaha finally I always rated this drama about 6/10 but since I really like the ending lots of surprises so I will notch up my rating to 7/10 one last thing in the last 6 months I was watching 11 or 12 other dramas

at the same time and I put this drama on top of all of them I mean this drama was the best I liked from all of them

I feel Mr.Nam is now lonely. And yes, all who did wrong get the kiss of karma! Thank you to the entire team for the entertainment.

saranghae May 29 2020 12:17 pm epi 128 ok finally finally this looks like is ending All the secrets had been disclosed the chairman was the last to know everything all the evil doers are being punished but what was totally unexpected for me was that 2 of them payed for their sins with their own lives they are dead I think it was too harsh and again felt so sorry for min hyuk when he saw his bio dad agonizing in pain in that hospital bed and for the 3rd time from the deepest of his wrenching guts he completely understood when people say blood is thicker than water and started crying inconsolably I wanted to cry with him Wahwahwah later he confess everything to the prosecutor which was the right thing to do just what everybody was telling him to do but it seems the death of his dad opened

his eyes to turn himself in as far as her mom she should’ve been the most punished but appears she will go unscathed but lets see whats gonna happen in the last epi tomorrow

again I think the writer didn’t need to kill those 2 especially my yeon soo wah wah wah wah

saranghae May 25 2020 4:44 am epi 124 the fake final epi hahaha i think ive seen the peak of the drama in this epi when out of nowhere min hyuk was in the prison visiting room waiting for his bio dad to come out and when he saw him he said you look weary through the glass window with little holes so voice can be heard on the other side and the old man said im fine dont worry for me this was the very first time he said something compassionate to his own dad in his own truth with teary eyes and from the deepest of his wrenching guts for the 2nd time min hyuk completely understood when people say blood is thicker than water and started crying i wanted to cry too wahwahwahwah this is where the real power of a writer lies when he can change the viewers mind before everybody hated mr park for his cold blooded unspeakable bad deeds but now they all feel sorry and compassionate for him and they dont hate him anymore the same for min hyuk so whose the real culprit i dont know the answer is in everybodys minds i think the last week will be more for healing and closing and understanding an epilogue

saranghae May 23 2020 8:47 am Epi 124 final epi as everybody knew it but what the heck whoahahahahaha omg omg omg this is not the last epi so I checked in the wiki site and the last epi was listed as 129 there wow wow mix feelings am angry cz there should’ve been some kind of warning but at the same time am glad that im gonna see my so won yeon soo and yujina for 5 more evenings yesssssssssssssssss but why I knew that this was not gonna end at 124 am I sort of a guru? Or a psychic? Not at all cz it was easy to see the intensity was building up not going down like when something is about to end and the peak was not even close either cz there were lots of secrets to be disclosed yet so it was not the right timing to end the drama. But what baffles me the most is that in 6 years that I started to watch kdramas ive seen some dramas were cut short 5, 10 or more epi off the schedule cz the tv ratings were so low that couldn’t generate ad revenues to sustain the production of each epi on the same token dramas that had unexpected success like 30 40% ratings were extended 5, 10 or more epi so the sponsors can Ratchet up more revenues In the case of bad love the ratings were poor throughout 5 or 6% as it was I think the producers were losing money with each epi so why extended it and lose more money?????　Something wasn’t adding up here i heard writers get like 50k usd/epi not/ DRAMA and top artists like 100k usd/epi not/ DRAMA and not counting the rest of the people So ad revenues Are crucial for them the sponsors To keep up with the production of a drama

saranghae May 21 2020 12:39 pm epi 123 wow this got to be the best epi for me cz a flurry of bombs were detonated here and there all sizes small med big hahahaha and there were 3 or 4 totally unexpected twists of the plot that made this drama so unpredictable for tomorrow last epi wow i dont have the slightest idea on how this is gonna end and i have to give lots of credits to the writer for making this ending really good and exciting now i feel like the end is near cz a couple of nights before it didnt feel like ending soon i still feel sooooooo sorry for min hyuk he was the big victim of this story i hope he gets a big revenge in the last epi from all those who lied to him and made him sooooo miserable im already feeling sad cz i will not be seeing so won, yeon soo, yujina i got used to them for so long i got the feeling the last epi will be the very best that this will be ending in a big splash cant wait for tomorrow

saranghae May 18 2020 11:18 am Epi 120 wow didn’t expect the chairman would be knocked out like that which is creating havoc and disarray in the company I was expecting the drama to get mellow and waning down cz this is the last week instead the intensity is growing and the peak is nowhere to be seen yet this all looks like this is not gonna end on Friday it looks more like an extention but its so weird cz the ratings can not support an extention but if it will I surely welcome it cz im enjoying this drama and I will be sad when I wave farewell to yeon soo so won and yujina whoahahhahahaha and the guys too of course haha still there are some incognitas left to be solved and the writer has at least 10 more bombs to be dropped　somewhere haha I know that the good guys team are gonna win but don’t know how? it feels the writer will throw in some surprises cant wait for next epi

So frustating to watch every episode that only solidifies how stupid almost all main characters acts and decides. They are so gullible that lies, and miles and miles of lies are the one that created every episode/scene of this korean drama... it's so unbelivable... NOT an intelligent kind of plot every established. Disappointing and Frustrating!!!!

Why torture yourself unless you're getting paid for doing that? Don't do that to yourself. I'm not saying it's 101%perfect but honestly I've enjoyed this drama so much. I'm a bit impatient so I prefer binge watching rather than waiting for daily episodes. Did that till ep 106 and now I let them pile and watch at once. It's getting juicier.

I actually doubt him lasting so long as a chairman when he is easily fooled and manipulated. Being blindsided is justifiable but being too trusting and forgiving on evil employees and family members is stupidity. He doesn't even have 1 trusted friend or ally maybe except for Director Song. Also why do the protagonists always confront the antagonists before doing what should be done? They should learn from villains to act first and talk or vent out later. The Chairman really had to ask Park Sang Tae and end up like that, he could have him investigated or fired but being stupid and as if they will be scared of him, he has to personally hear from them. The character writing in this is really crap.

They already have the file but they wasted their time confronting Minhyuk instead of revealing to the father and the police the evidences they found. Time wasted on useless outburst is time gained for the antagonists to make a way to get out of the problem. The protagonists are like moon walking thinking they have all the time in the world without the concept of urgency and early bird catches the worm. The writer keeps making them stupid than the previous episodes. I'm baffled some at comments that they really enjoy this crap, maybe they are stupid too lol.

saranghae May 13 2020 11:51 am epi 117 wow wow wiow omg omg omg whoahahaha this epi was even much better than last one cant believe this is getting so good 2 huge bombs were dropped in this epi alone the first involving yeon soo i think this will be her last appearance how can she overcome this no way after valiantly dodging more than 100 bullets this will be her demise wow and dont get it why is she still at the office last time i heard she was demoted and transfer over to some obscure dept as a reprimand or maybe did i missed something? the 2nd bomb involved jay hyuk i knew this long ago but came as a surprise kind of early and i thought yeon soo will have to do with it but i was wrong anyway this is complicating things crazily hahaha wow there are only a few epi left nevertheless this drama hasnt even reached the peak which is great i knew that the better epi were ahead and this is whats happening i give credits to the writer and i think more bombs will be dropped in the next episodes looking forward not gonna miss them hahaha

saranghae May 11 2020 4:39 pm epi 115　another very good epi this writer is saving the best epi for last he did a lot of dragging epi in the past but i feel like the last 15 epi will be the very best am bit disappointed cz id been watching 1 epi per day including sat and sun cz i started the drama 2 mo late on purpose to avoid watching epi the same day its being aired but i catch up with the latest epi ;last week so this is the first epi im watching being aired the same day and i had to wait last sun and sat cz theres no epi on weekends which i long forgotten so 2 days is a long wait due to bad experiences i hate to watch epi the same day its aired cz of the waiting for the subs is too long and lots of time it gets preempted due to unexpected happenings or holidays etc this epi made me sad again cz of what happened to yujina she discovered that the love of her life was the father of the lil kid that she loved very much and more shockingly the mother of the kid was the woman she hated the most she felt betrayed and left behind cz she was the last to know again i wanted to cry with her and console her wahwahwahwah on the other hand i was ecstatic again that yeon soo brilliantly avoid completely banishment hahahaha with an incredible scheme that brought her back to the chairman house and getting min hyuk foregiveness wow this was so unpredictable that all i can do is LOL hahaha looking forward for next epi

They're really stupid for not changing locks and passcodes lol. HwaRan easily believed the photo blackmail even the stupid President/father easily gave in to the blackmail. They're rich but stupid. They can't hire or ask their subordinates to investigate or trace the person? Stupid stupid stupid lol. Also, a housekeeper that looks like Yeon Su is dubious, can't believe the new character is also stupid to answer calls with other people around so Yeon Su was able to record. Are there no closed doors inside? Another level stupidity. I can't believe writers get paid for such crap lol.

saranghae May 09 2020 4:30 pm epi 114 great im sooooooooooooooooo glad yeon soo is back from the dead without her bad deeds this drama would not be the same and she still holds a big wild card in her hand that probably will be used in the last epi to solve the last mystery of this drama one of the big mysteries was solved in this epi that involved ho jin after so won and yeon soo were cleared of their blemishes now both bands are all cleared of their sins committed so they will be ready to square off face to face in the next 2 weeks remaining of this drama to declare the winner of the succession of the company i still have no idea how this battle is gonna happen i mean i find it unpredictable like how yeon soo got off the hook was also so unpredictable for me i think the writer deserves credit and i think the finale will be great with a lot of surprises

I've decided to watch other competed dramas in the meantime- done with 'blood' & 'the heirs'.... I've received recommendations on ongoing dramas but I don't want the suspense Bad Love is leaving me with.... Otherwise everything is almost black & white except Eun Hye's accident. How will this team uncover the truth now?? Oh, and Jae Hyuk has changed he looks awkward now- a bit childish like when they jumped around together, seriously?!

Dialogues that were inconsequential and episodes that needed to be removed with no consequences to the story because of the simplicity of the plot. A good drama demonstrates plot complexity and growth in characters, dialogue and acting skill. This drama did not develop any of that!

saranghae May 01 2020 3:33 pm epi 108 wow im so glad yeon soo was not finished yet i really thought she was gone but she is still hanging in there only thing is she needs to take a hot bath a nice shampoo and change clothes whoahahahaha both so won and yeon soo are going from crisis to crisis and i have no clue how are they gonna get out of there i can only guess that some mystery people will appear to bail them out this drama is getting very unpredictable now yes the writer is saving the best for last　alright @cathy254 I started watching kdramas about 6 years ago and I only watch long haul dramas (more than 100 epi）cz i　have　big　problems　with　korean　names　i　can　not　relate　names　and　faces　easily　it　takes　me　a　long　time to know who is who in a drama so I never pick 16 epi dramas cz by the time it ends im still juggling with their names by reading names in the subtitle I don’t know if its male or female or a child or adult or if they are spouses or related as family Korean names are still a total enigma for me I don’t know if am alone or this is a common problem so if you don’t mind long dramas I can recommend I am a mother too I watched it about 2 years ago with this drama I broke my own record of watching epi in a row with 21 roughly 10 hours straight which it went in a bliss cz it was so addicted and it went so fast that I didn’t get tired at all I only stop once for peeing whoahahahaha but that was it hahahaha the other drama is a place in the sun which every epi was great dragging in both was none or almost imperceptible so in the last 2 years these 2 are the best from about 80 dramas that I watched I don’t work so I have plenty of time to spare along with bad love I was also watching wanna a taste, gracious revenge, unasked family, daring women, working mom parenting dad, my love by my side, don’t hesitate, the fiery priest, which are also recommendable I also stop a lot of dramas cz I lose interest on the plot and I have a long waiting list cz they are producing more dramas that I can watch and that is im watching full time everyday I hope this can help you find a good drama im also finishing lots of dramas so im gonna start 4 or 5 in the coming weeks and one of them is once again which another person recommended below im also looking forward to enjoying that drama apart from being excellent entertainment kdramas teach you a lot about life It makes me reflect on my own life the relations with my parents siblings close friends etc or my time of my working life did I do good? For many times Park Sang Tae and Yeon Su made efforts to sabotage the company he keeps on bringing them back especially this recent episode, Park Sang Tae became a Director again. What stupidity is this? He can forgive him but can't get over Jaehyuk & So Won keeping the secret? Also, stop making Yeon Su silly funny with this desperate to even visit So Won's house. I think she has pride and won't stoop that low. Also, impossible she doesn't have bank savings or access to money with all she got from stealing the fabric technology before. She can give money to thugs & those who work for her but no money when kicked out? That's absurd. This drama insults the intellect.

Though not planned, I love that the protagonists revealed their relationship to the chairman themselves rather than him finding out from the antagonists. I'm also mad that Ho Jin hasn't realized that detective Seo Jung Bae is their former tenant- like can't they go through his belongings somehow? Anyway let me hold my horses the anticipation is reallll.

saranghae Apr 30 2020 12:49 pm epi 107 good epi cant bellieve yeon soo couldnt escape this time i was sure she would but this is it for her this is the end for her but why am i feeling sooooooooooooo sorry soooooo sad for her i know she was the worst who did unspeakable horrendous deeds but here i am i want to cry with her and console her and help her she didnt have nowhere to go slept in the streets going hungry stealing food wearing the same clothes for days no shower no money thrown out from everywhere she went so many times she was shoved to the floor or the street asphalt wacked beaten slapped kicked begging for clemency did she really deserved all that or is adversity the whole culprit of what she is going through she was raised in an orphanage without love without warmth the only thing in her head was getting revenge on this world on her adversity thats probably why i feel sad cz adversity and society had a lot to do on what she did

Generally I love this drama though the characters are confused a lot, I mean how does one move from love-hate-love and so on all in a flash? See how the antagonists treat Ha Eun huh...or Hwa Rang to Su Won. Any way let me wait and see how this unfolds.

I'm not an expert on K- Dramas I've not watched as many but I'm trying to watch more this period. Any recommendations will be appreciated

I've been entertained for the 4 days I've watched though I agree it's been dragged a bit I ended up fast forwarding some few scenes. I love Hwang Su's acting it's so real I now really 'hate her'. So Won's bubbly and fearless character in the beginning was amazing but she became weaker.

whitewolf Apr 21 2020 10:09 pm The protagonist leads are all stupid, Jaehyuk, So Won, Ho Jin & Dan Sil. I think Yujin is the only sensible and realistic character. They keep on giving the bad guys Minhyuk, YeonSu, Hwaran & SangTae the chances to get back at them big time. Always doing defense than offense. At times HoJin makes good moves but still lacking and still swayed by his past with YeonSu. Also, for a former prosecutor, he can't match Seo JungBae living as their tenant when he learned that he lives in their neighborhood, heck they have the same surname he still can't connect the dots. The back and forth provocation and threatening between Hojin and Yeonsu is becoming boring and useless, so repetitive. Seriously, the writer has problem making smart characters turning them into stupid and annoying ones. At this point I just wish the antagonists to win and bring the stupid protagonists down for good big time lol.

Seems like the producers lack creativity...they should have shortened the dramas instead of extending it to 124 episodes. Who the hell wud want to love in that house with all those annoying actors. They all shud go their separate ways and make their own lives instead of living off the chairman's Noyu. It is just like a circus but without fun this drama. I can't wait for it to finish and have been skipping throughout the episodes. Not being serious about it at all coz this drama is a complete nonsense.

Also, i don't think it was ok for so won to marry eunhye's husband. She says that yeon su is twisted but boy, so won and her now husband are twisted too. saranghae Mar 25 2020 12:46 am epi 73 the last few epi slowed to a crawl the setting of the ill fated car hit and run was so weird why was so won walking all alone in a solitary dark pitch street that was under construction ? and why jae hyuk was also walking around there it mustve been very close without noticing her until the last moment to save her? the only thing i can understand is that yeon soo wanted to harm seo won this accident looked pretty much like the accident where so won twin sister died i think the writer run out of good ideas and start repeating the same things and probably they used the same settings for the accident but other than this the plot is getting very intersting now that the good guys start digging in the death of jae hyuk wife and find out...................

The characters really are good actors. The bad guys don't dominate making me crazy. The smart people are not dumb and vulnerable. No tears every scene great stuff. I'll keep watching because it doesn't insult my intelligence. Writing is top notch.

saranghae Mar 15 2020 1:57 pm epi 65 good epi a big bomb was dropped here i thought this was gonna be revealed by the final episodes but this drama is only half way wow when jae hyuk was visiting her deceased wife at the cplumbarium he noticed in the photo inside the niche that all so won family was there which meant his wife was the eldest daughter of the family wow what a revelation now i dont know whats gonna happen next cz its too early in the drama there are about 60 epi left i can only think that some mystery people will show up like the chairman first wife or yeon soo parents even so won mom husband tho he is supposed to be dead but anything can happen in kdramas ive seen people being resurrected in other dramas whoahahahaha this drama is getting very interesting credits to the writer cannot miss next epi

saranghae Mar 13 2020 10:00 am epi 63 great as in every drama the evil doers go rampant in the first half everything goes their way and look good making the leads suffer and look stupid but when the drama reaches half point as this drama is in the tide reverses and the evil doers start crumbling their bad deeds dont work anymore or they are caught red handed like yeon soo was busted for confining so won and min hyuk for buying stolen technology and claiming his and his mom ms jang was also scolded for helping her son do the bad deeds this is the good side of a drama and what viewers want to watch cz nobody wants the evil doers triumph over the lead people

whitewolf Mar 11 2020 12:32 pm The stupidity and lack of foresight and defense strategy of the leads is frustrating and annoying especially the female lead. The only characters I'm expecting much from and rooting for are Choi Ho Jin for being the active and strategic character and Han Yoo Jin for bringing lightness or happy vibe. I used to root for Han Jae Hyuk for being intelligent and having intuition to what's happening, he went down the stupid path when he realized he fell in love with Choi So Won. They have zero chemistry and when it's their scene together, I fast forward it. I even prefer the plotting/scheming scenes of Hwang Yeon Su than the main couple's forced romantic scenes.

saranghae Feb 18 2020 10:33 am epi 40 LOL the writer tricked me ha ha in the previous epi he made me believe that the evil wench was gonna discover who the little hana mom was cz she was suspecting she could be the mom that long ago throwed away that lil girl into an orphanatory but little i knew that so won anticipated this and set her into a trap and make her believe that all the family will be out to celebrate so won promotion so she can sneak in the house and take her tooth brush for a dna test and of course so won changed the toothbrush too so the test will come out negative i didnt expect this cz so far so won had being playing naive and stupid great brilliant move and i expect more of this in the next epi so far the drama its been great

Not only was it predictable but such a simple way of finding the purse. No drama there. So simple minded. How can that family be so naive and so guillible at such a level. They fall in the same traps again and again and they lie to each other and then say sorry, as if every time they say sorry, they should be forgiven. Duh they are just playing around and acting as if they can get away with it. Dont like the main actress...she is too fake and too childish

Or her family has never said a word about her? It really defies belief.

Also it’s like Oh Seung A waded back in from the ocean where we last saw her in Secrets and Lies and moved in with the family. It’s exactly the same character. Not her fault, but she’ll have a hard time breaking out of it in the future.

Such stupidity of the main characters is so pitiful. Unfortunately we are raining in the wet. Horrible. I'm in the process of abandoning ... nobody deserves to watch something so bad.

Too many horrible actors, among them is Oh Seung A, painfully bad acting, if I see her in another drama I am never even gonna start.

A drama full of stupid characters beginning with the female lead who is a monument of stupidity that is hard to find another one in Korean dramas and continuing with the rest of the characters has more attention from the viewers part than this drama.
