Bo-Mi (Park Si-Eun) is a Korean adoptee in the United States. She lives in New York and enjoys her life there, but she gets involved in an unexpected case. Bo-Mi doesn't have a U.S. citizenship and she is kicked out of the country. She returns to her hometown village of Kungdari, South Korea. There, Bo-Mi meets Soo-Ho (Kim Ho-Jin). Soo-Ho used to work in finance in the United States. He was successful there, but to develop a natural remedy for his ill daughter, Soo-Ho settled down in Kungdari.

saranghae Dec 14 2019 12:24 pm cant believe they put this on tv everything went wrong in this drama writing direction editing wardrove landscaping escenography illumination etc i could only reach the final epi cz i only watched 5 min per epi all the rest was skipped so i saved a lot of time the only thing rescueable ware the actors all of them put a great performance probably cz they sensed lots of things going wrong especially the plot that was really stupid ＳＨＡＭＥ　ＯＮ　ＹＯＵ　ＭＢＣ

People live in America dont trust people so easily. We learn not to trust people at very yong age. writer, get a grip!!!!!

Im trying to understand the cause of her deportation, I cannot find a way to understand it.

I am not surprise why the rating are so poor because of the plot of drama are very unrealistic and poor. The writer make her so stupid and pathetic and i don’t cheer this show because they dragging the story line of unnecessary story line. I don’t recommend this drama it will waste your time.

saranghae Sep 06 2019 12:25 am just started this drama finished epi 5 and it seems ok 5/5 so far but im so tentative to continue cuz the ratings are just too dismal so awful so am sure this drama will be stopped by halfway or even earlier cuz the ratings can not support it less than 3% is just a no no totally unacceptable for cable networks is ok but for mbc is utterly a big failure so i have doubts if i can continue this but in the end i think ill give it just a little try

saffronrevo Sep 03 2019 9:55 pm I really really absolutely hate Song Bo Mi character right now. The writer makes her character so unlikeable and she is supposed to be the lead character of the show. She trusted people she doesn't know like Jo Soon Ja (the evil mother) and those criminals Moon Jang Soo who set her up to take the blame for the car accident (and she know it he did it) and Song Ha Nam the liar and scammer (she also knows he tried to cheat the elders from the village). There is no going back for being sympathetic with her because she is an absolutely stupid idiot. Even if she figures out who abandoned her and among other issues, she is going through I would not be happy for her or cheer this show because it is so stupid. Show suppose to make viewers and fans empathetic toward her misfortune and want to cheer her to overcome it but the story is so bad the writer needs to be fired.

Un modeste admirateur Aug 27 2019 10:26 pm Ep. 31 so far, and I am still loving "Everybody Say Kungdari". I watch it in the morning, and it leaves me in a positive mood for the day. I think the moral of the drama can be summed up by the phrase (sorry if the English is incorrect): "Blessed are the simple-minded, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs; blessed are the afflicted, for they will be comforted." The main character, Song Bo-Mi, is as naïve as the kids and the grandfather she has adopted and is taking care of, but she's so genuinely convinced that justice is on her side, that even those who first wanted to take advantage of her, end up sparing her, as if to prove to themselves that the world is not always bad. The actress playing this character, Park Si-Eun, is really shining.

Greta Aug 07 2019 2:00 am I agree with Un Modest Admirateur..this is such a pure drama?.It reminds me of old days dramas where the villains are too wicked and work too much to make the protagonist life miserable and I hate that stepmother so much to the bone hhahaaha.I really love Kungdari, the green plants, the rice fields,the trees,the herbs and the villagers unity as a family and I love Han Su Ho and Bo Mi together even though Im not sure if there will be romance between them later on I dont they're just such a fine pair??.Hope this drama gains more attention and views.Hwaiting Kungdari cast??

Un modeste admirateur Jul 18 2019 12:47 am I haven't seen this drama advertised or reviewed anywhere, so I started watching without any expectations, but I am really hooked now. It's a rural drama about a woman raised in a big American city, but who, because of judicial complications, has to hide in a small Korean village. I loved how we, as viewers, are thrown in the village together with her, without much prior explanations. The plot is full of energy and "down to earth" in every sense of the expression. Having been born in a small town myself, I found the characters extremely touching and relatable, but maybe it's personal bias. In general, "Everybody Say Kungdari" reminds me of dramas from the year 2007 or 2008, back when the "Korean Wave" was still rising, and when honest acting and story-telling was everything, instead of big idols or big special effects. I'm not saying "Everybody Say Kungdari" is perfect, but it definitely deserves a watch.
